Chapter 50 Demon Woman

Dark clouds began to move to cover the bright sun, making the twilight even darker. Sophia quickly invites Latisha to seek shelter, whether it is a cave or the roots of a large tree with leafy leaves.

But it rained faster from their steps, eventually they remained drenched. On the run seeking refuge Sophia suddenly held Latisha's steps, her eyes sharply watching the silhouette that flashed from tree to tree.

"Stay near the mother" Sophia said, aware of the danger.

A dagger that floated towards them managed Sophia to tangle with her shield, then in front of her a green snake suddenly changed shape into a woman in a green dress with a bun tying her hair.

"Graffin?" sophia didn't believe what she saw.

The world does hold many mysteries, one of which is a demon. This one creature is something that is able to change into two figures, usually human and animal forms.

While still at the Academy he had found a book on the anatomy of the human body that explains about stealth, not much he read because there is rarely a book that reviews about this one creature.

Its existence is very rare, almost 1:10000 in the birth cycle. This one creature in the fields has deceit as great as vampires, magic is also as powerful as magicians.

"Two girls walking in the middle of the forest, you can be sure you are not ordinary humans," said the demon woman.

Her face is quite beautiful with pale white smooth skin, her hands are also flat like twigs but not stiff.

"Who are you?" sophia asked.

"Mr Zaruta sent me to pick you up" he said.

Sophia frowned, it felt like she had heard that name. Opening the memory sheet in the memories of the past he finally remembered Zaruta who was the son of the vampire prince, apparently it was until whenever the vampire nation would not give up to get his blood.

"I won't go with you" Sophia said firmly with Latisha's strong hand.

"It's a shame that's not the answer I want to hear" he said.

Her green dress that had a scarf then stiffened and attacked them like a spear, Sophia tried to defend inside her shield.

But apparently the demon woman was strong enough to make her shield shake, Sophia realized she was too long in the dragon world and never practiced so once she was stiff enough to fight.

"Mother," call Latisha in panic.

"Tisha help mom!" sophia has plans to escape.

Though hesitant, Latisha then raised her one hand, she cast the spell that Sophia had taught her and a ray emerged from her palm.

The beam was getting brighter with a powerful enough force, it was felt enough then Sophia removed her shield agara Latisha could release an attack.

An explosion occurred once Latisha attacked, unfortunately the demon woman managed to dodge until a tree that became a fall.

But despite his survival he lost Sophia and Latisha, they had already escaped right after Latisha launched an attack.

Dripped of heavy rain their feet kept moving to keep their body temperature warm so as not to get cold, kept running by occasionally looking back Sophia made sure they had to be safe.

Unfortunately the demon lady turned into a snake, her agile movements would soon catch up with them.

Pulling Latisha's hand to turn and hide behind the trunk of Sophia's large tree then handed the rest of the deer horn pieces to Latisha.

"Mother will distract him, you must continue on your own journey. Remember that! don't trust anyone but werewolves and find the witch Alessa as soon as possible" said Sophia, who struggled with time.

"But ma'am" Latisha said she wanted to protest.

With no kiss on her forehead, Sophia pushed Latisha to move in the other direction. Along with the rain of tears Latisha fell onto the earth that had been wet, her red eyes stared at Sophia while Sophia herself tried to endure her grief.

He knew this must happen, one day they must be separated because of something. But Latisha did not expect it to be this fast, trying hard she wiped away the tears and ran as hard as she could.

The demon was now very close, Sophia who could sense danger quickly ran as fast as she could. Until finally his feet stopped just above the ravine, under which the river flowed violently hit the rocks.

The female demon's laughter made Sophia turn around.

"You can't run anymore, hey! where's the other one?" tanyanya realizes Latisha does not exist.

"Why can a demon like you work for a vampire?" sophia asked casually even though her life was now on the edge.

"Hmm... How do you say it? that Mr. Zaruta is so handsome and charming, he treats me well even spoils me with a delicious snack. Wouldn't the face if I served him?" the answer.

Sophia understood, she was captivated by Damien's charm so that she finally gave birth to Latisha.

"If you go home with my carcass what will your master do?" ask Sophia again.

The demon lady fell silent, she had seen Zaruta get angry and it was terrifying. If she comes home without or with Sophia's body there's a chance she won't be loved anymore, even worse, she'll probably be punished severely.

"I will take you according to your orders," he replied firmly.

"Unfortunately I disagree" Sophia said.

He smiled meaningfully, spread out his hands and then unexpectedly Sophia let herself float down to the bottom of the ravine which was a river.

"Tidaaaaakkk." cried the woman.

He rushes to rescue Sophia but too late, Sophia's body has fallen into the water. From above he could see Sophia's body being carried away by the current quickly, hitting the rock several times until it had sunk.

"Damn!" his gerrick.

Rise up he decided no matter the corpse even though he would still bring Sophia to Zaruta, so he rushed to walk following the flow of water where Sophia was washed away.

Continuing to run non-stop finally Latisha reached her limit, she was not used to running with this distance. Usually he spends time riding dragons, of course, his physique is not as strong as ordinary humans though.

Panting he began to walk with his hands continue to touch the tree trunk so as not to fall, finally behind the trees he found a house that was not far away.

"To.. long.." she said softly with short breath and outstretched hands.

With the shadow of the house might be willing to help him he forced his feet to continue to step, until finally he managed to get out of the forest and walk on the wet grass.

Rain still flushed the earth with a swift, Latisha who was now completely exhausted could not help her eyes that felt heavy.

Finally his body fell into the mud, his eyes closed and he was unconscious.

Luckily his hope was granted, the homeowner who was worried about his livestock intended to check because lightning struck hard.

As he walked closer to the cage he found Latisha's body lying on the ground, shocked and curious he examined Latisha's body.

Knowing Latisha was still alive he immediately carried Latisha into his house, his wife who saw immediately change her wet clothes Latisha with clean new clothes so that she did not have a fever.

"Let him, hopefully tomorrow morning he's conscious" the man said.
