Chapter 2 Rewards

The rain continued to pour down on the earth, taking away the trail of the man every new step was made. On the ground that smelled cold, his nose was reddened, a heavy breath of his telling the terrain was hard enough to pass but he would not give up.

"Oh Damien! my daughter is healed! he's healthy again!" exclaimed the King shows how the princess can now laugh and talk.

Damien simply nodded, letting a moment to the happy family.

"Big, Damien. Now tell me what you want? I will certainly grant it," said the King did not forget his oath.

"Really! you saved me so you deserve a reward" the princess said.

"What about the jewelry? we'll give you as much as you want" the prince bargained.

"No, Your Majesty, I don't need such a treasure."

"Then what do you want?" ask King.

"Surprise boy" Damien replied.

For a moment the atmosphere suddenly became silent, they stared at Damien who was serious about his request.

Suddenly the princess vomited which made everyone shocked as well as Damien, he did not expect to get a surprise child so soon.

"I'll be back when the baby is born" Damien said before disappearing.

"Dad," call princess Agrarta slowly.

Not wanting to die of curiosity the King immediately ordered the healer to check, while everyone waited expectantly for the physician to reveal the results of his examination.

"The princess is pregnant now."

The servants cheered with excitement while they were silent, either happy or sad because when the baby was born he was not destined to succeed to the throne.
