Chapter 47 The New World

The sunlight reflected off the clear surface of the water, making it look like two heavens. The ends of the claws then touched the surface of the water until the ripples shook the reflection of the sky, the sweet girl in the scarred blue dress laughed cheerfully at that.

"Latisha! I really don't know what else to punish you for!" sophia said with a pressure.

Latisha was silent, never daring to stare let alone say when her mother was angry.

Still bowing Latisha's head walking past Sophia and continuing into the cave that was her home, Sophia noticed how Latisha was walking.

Sophia glanced and smiled, it had been fourteen years and now Luca was already a huge dragon with the widest wings.

"Please watch your child not to follow Tisha's orders, I really don't understand why she is so wayward. I used to be so obedient" Sophia complained.

Luca roared softly, speaking a dragon language that no one understood except Sophia and Latisha.

"Yeah you were right, as a child," Sophia murmured.

Luca then breezes away and Sophia also goes inside, approaching Latisha who is busy contemplating her mistake.

"How old are you now?" sophia asked as she sat right in front of Latisha.

"Thirteen" said Latisha.

"Happy birthday" Sophia said with a smile.

Seeing the face of Sophia who had hinted at Latisha also smiled, she thanked him.

"This is for you" said Sophia handed him a piece of deer horn that was so short.

"What's this?" ask Latisha curious.

"Rose horns, more precisely pieces of deer antlers. I have one piece and you'll keep the other piece" Sophia said.

Latisha nodded, not knowing what the deer looked like because in their world there were only dragons and aquatic animals such as fish and shrimp.

"Mom got it from Albert" Sophia said.

"Really?" ask Latisha.

Sophia nodded, from the age of seven Sophia had already told Latisha everything. Giving understanding that he is a surprise child who must obey Albert, just as he must accept fate as the son of Damien's surprise.

But Latisha is a little different, apparently he is not happy to accept his destiny because it seems as if he will be confined forever. It took years until Latisha finally understood and accepted her destiny.

"Now your age is enough to get out of here" Sophia said.

"really? when will I leave?" latisha asked impatiently.

"Tomorrow, we'll go and find your father and Albert."

Latisha cheered, she was really impatient to immediately go see the outside world that she could only imagine.

During the day he tried to keep himself busy so that time would roll faster, but he was too happy until night fell to sleep he could not.

The next morning after breakfast they were escorted by Luca to the cliff where the exit was, Sophia who first went down gave her hand to Latisha holding on.

"You ready?" sophia asked Latisha.

The girl took a deep breath to prepare herself, after being brave enough she nodded and they began to step through the stone wall.

As if there was nothing Latisha felt nothing as she walked through the wall, in the next step she was already in a pitch-black cave.

Sophia who was accustomed to the darkness led Latisha to walk until they came out of the cave, as soon as they stood at the edge of the cliff of a vast expanse of forest immediately spoiled Latisha's eyes.

Accustomed to seeing the blue sea of course he was amazed to see the lush forest, the breeze passing by by stroking Latisha's hair made him not want to move.

The cold, tickling air then immediately made his nose flushed.

They climb back up Luca's back to get off the cliff, after landing Sophia immediately orders Luca to return to the dragon world and not come out until he calls her.

Luca nodded and immediately flew back into the cave, while Sophia invited Latisha to start walking.

Throughout the trip Latisha asked a lot about all the ham that attracted her attention, Sophia always smiled and explained.

Latisha is thirteen but since she is new to the world she looks like a five-year-old, adorable for Sophia.

Their long journey finally came out of the forest, for the first time Latisha saw the village and the people who were as noisy as they were.

Sophia had explained about this, the new world that she would see was not only inhabited by humans. But there are also Elves, werewolves, vampires, fairies, orcs and more.

Of the many creatures that exist Latisha need to be vigilant against all creatures except werewolves and fairies, the rest depends on whom he met before.

"Raise your hood" Sophia said as they entered the village.

The noise of the people who were busy with their work each made many questions in Latisha's mind, every little thing like the tents of the merchants so attracted his attention.

"Let's go in," Sophia asked as she opened the bar.

Latisha walked right behind her, seeing the place in the dominance of male visitors made Latisha surprised and thought maybe the place was like a special place that only a few people could enter.

"One rum and one glass of milk" Sophia told the bar owner.

Latisha sat down right next to Sophia, watching how the bar owner poured the drink into the glass.

"Stop your surprised expression, you can attract attention and it's not good for us" Sophia whispered.

Latisha immediately lowered her head, as the bar owner gave her a glass of milk she drank without glancing left right again.

"Excuse me, do you know any great witches in this area?" ask Sophia.

"Um. witch yes, there are no witches around here" said the owner of the bar.

"Really?" ask Sophia.

"Why are you looking for a witch?" the bar owner.

Spring

Sophia placed a bag of gold coins on the table that made the owner of the bar widen his eyes, he quickly took the bag and put it away.

"I need important information and only a great magician can help me" Sophia said.

The owner of the bar glanced at the left right, making sure no one noticed them then he approached Sophia to whisper to her.

"There was a witch named Alessa in Tutua village, she was a village chief there. If you want to meet him don't tell me you know from me."

"Why?" ask Sophia astonished.

"Alessa is a traitor, she used to be on the Rider's side so she is now a fugitive. So let no one know you've got information from me" he replied.

"Thank you" Sophia said.

He asked Latisha to leave.

"Where are we going?" ask Latisha.

"Finding your aunt" Sophia said.
