Chapter 42 Battle at Enyver Castle

Sophia went out into the forest alone as she called out the names of Damien and Albert, but for hours she searched for nothing but the wind.

Almost despair finally ahead there faintly saw the body of a person lying on the ground, he quickly ran to check.

"Aah!" the strangler was surprised to find that it was Cheet's corpse that had emitted an unpleasant smell.

Obviously a battle had taken place there, feeling the bad premonition Sophia again walked down the place until she found the other corpses.

There was a relief in his heart because he did not find the bodies of Damien or Albert indicating they were still alive, but he also could not calm down because they were not sure they were okay.

The thirst re-emerged when he woke up from his sleep, walking out to find a drink unfortunately water is not what he needs.

Deciding to go outside the burning dryness that bothered him to feel agonizing made his way stagger, he accidentally crossed paths with a man and almost hit him.

"Hey! are you all right?" ask the man who is going home.

"Are you drunk?" asked the man to notice.

"Hope." he answered in a hoarse voice.

"Oh you want to drink," he said immediately pulled out a water bottle.

He handed the bottle to Albert but Albert was silent, his eyes were fixed on the neck of the man who somehow could see blood flowing in his neck veins.

"Why?" ask the man confused.

Albert hugged the man and buried his fangs which immediately poked out at the man's neck.

Aarrggh..... Aaarrgghhh

The man's pain screamed as he tried to escape, but Albert's embrace was too strong that he fell unconscious. Now Albert calmly quenched his thirst, but afterwards he was shocked and regretted for what he had done.

Running through the forest he hoped what he had done was a terrible dream, but the bloodstain on the corner of his lips was all that meant was real.

Hhhhh Hhhhh Hhhhhhh

Tired of running he set his breath on a fallen tree trunk, trembling his body as it was unprepared for the drastic change. But he had to be strong, remembering Damien's words maybe it was his destiny to be strong in this way.

Unable to find Alessa one more place she can ask for help is Meg and the other werewolves, fighting with time so that he reached the place before the morning his steps were accelerated.

Unfortunately only a few dozen more kilos of sunlight had already appeared, forcing him to seek shade.

Luckily he found a cave, though not deep but safe enough for him to rest.

"We have to rescue her immediately" Meg said.

"But I don't know where Damien is being held" Albert said.

"There's one place for sure, Enyver Castle. It's no mistake they took Damien there to provoke Sophia" Meg said.

"How did you know?" ask Albert wonder.

"It is a sacred place, not a single book will review the place because rumors circulated that anyone who spread the horror of the place will be cursed by the devil. The place was always dedicated to performing ritual offerings and the like, it was also strategic for a big battle" explained an old woman.

For the first time Albert is not interested in history, he does not care what place is important is they must immediately save Damien.

After various considerations they finally devise a rescue plan, Meg immediately tells all her children to ask for reinforcements on the herd of werewolves living in other areas.

The day after night they'll be leaving for the mission, while Albert will be staying there.

"It looks like you're used to it" said Meg, looking at Albert, who was getting ready for bed in the morning.

"Not really, maybe I'm just so focused on Damien that I forget how horrible it is to be a blood-sucking creature" he said.

"You know it's been thousands of years vampires and werewolves don't get along, these two nations will continue to fight endless battles. We hate vampires so much whoever they are except Damien, and now there's one more vampire who will always be our brother."

"Thank you Meg, it means a lot to me" Albert smiled happily.

When the waiting time has come, the young men of the werewolf herd led by Meg say goodbye to their families and ask for their blessing that they win the battle.

Once again Albert made the children grieve for their brief encounter, with the promise that he would return one day they gave their sincere blessing.

Sophia knew it, the castle was somehow in her mind just like they had a relationship. Deciding to get out of the nest he took Luca flying in the night sky, across the forest and river until from the air saw the castle fortified troops.

"Damien." he exclaimed softly at his lover in a pasung on the balcony.

As she carries Luca flying lower on a bow and other long-range weapons are immediately prepared to incapacitate him, Sophia unperturbed brings Luca down to a perch at the end of the balcony.

The three vampire princes and the Kings who were already waiting for his arrival immediately went to the balcony to welcome.

"Damien!" call Sophia to run over to her.

"Finally you came too" Dimitri greeted with a happy smile.

"Let go Damien!" sophia's orders were without a stale base.

His eyes were already wet from not having the heart to see Damien's apprehensive condition.

"What if we make it easy, I'll set him free and instead it's your life" Dimitri said as he was impatient to taste the Rider's blood.

"No! don't do Sophia, they've killed Albert and it's impossible to let me go after getting you!" exclamation Damien.

Of course Sophia was surprised not to play, even she had frozen for a while. His eyes that had been wet more and more moist because they could not accept the fact, anger was slowly peaking up to the crown.

The prophecy finally came true according to Damien's assumption, Sophia's eyes turned blue and gave off light. The wind swirled around him which grew bigger and swept around him, not only flying dust but also soldiers who were ready to fight.

Luca who was a hen turned aggressive and started flying into space, as if feeling Sophia's sadness he made a deafening sound.

Without orders Luca starts spitting fire from his muzzle, ravaging the soldiers and the Kings while the three princes begin to prepare for an attack from Sophia.

They teamed up around Sophia and began to give attack after attack, but it turned out that even they could not approach more than one foot because there was a shield protecting Sophia.

While Damien could only watch from where he was at the pasung, deep down he could not bear to see Sophia out of control and turned into something he never wanted.

With a single pull he frees Damien's accomplice from the pasung, leaving Damien wondering where he got that great power from.

"Albert.. is.." without solving the question Albert already understood.

"Yes, I don't know who made me a vampire" she said.

"Must be the princes" said Damien, rising to his feet.

"It doesn't matter, now we just need to focus on Sophia. He can't be more than this" he said.

Damien nodded in agreement, they immediately went to Sophia who was strangling Jacspher. Lifting it up easily was as if the vampire's body was made of cotton.

"Sophia!" albert called out.

But Sophia seemed not to hear, even Dimitri who was surprised at the arrival of Albert. He did not expect the child was still alive and it seems his efforts to make Albert a vampire have been successful.

"Free! he's lost consciousness" Damien said.

Not wanting to give up Albert closer, but just a few steps Sophia threw Jacspher right at him so he fell over Jacspher.

Coughing up at the loss of oxygen Jacspher seemed unconcerned that he had hurt Albert, even though he was a little surprised to find Albert alive.

"I'll distract him! try to attack the back!" terang Dimitri plans.

Jacspher and Aro nodded, but Damien and Albert who heard that would certainly not be silent.

"Don't think you can approach her so easily" Damien told Dimitri.

"Curtain! you're always just a bitch!" dimitri is upset.

Their fight soon ensues, as does Albert, who fights Aro while Jacspher single-handedly tries to incapacitate Sophia.

In the midst of the fierce battle it seems that Jacspher is really not a match for the Rider, somehow Sophia managed to grasp the heart of Jacspher with her hands.

Squeezing the heart so hard Jacspher became inflamed in pain before he finally pulled it out, making a large hole in Jacspher's chest that then made him collapse lifeless.

Dimitri and Aro who saw it became riled up, the longer the Rider's power would be so great that no one could stop it and lose their chance.

"Stupid! let me kill him! do you want him to destroy the entire universe, including you?" dimitri asked annoyed.

"I'd rather it happen than see him die at your hands" Damien insisted.

Sophia suddenly screamed, her body ducking while holding her left shoulder. It was obvious that he was in pain from the look on his face, making them confused by what had happened.
