Chapter 35 Three Princes' Offer

Finding traces of Cheet and his men makes Damien's heart not entirely happy, it's because only traces of those that Damien found were not with Sophia.

This made her wonder where Sophia was going and what had happened to her, in the sudden confusion of her instincts saying to be vigilant.

He stood straight before Albert, which astonished the young man, but after a figure came out of the darkness he knew why Damien was acting this way.

"Zaruto!" damien exclaimed at the old comrade with a watchful expression.

"Hi Damien, how are you?" asked Zaruta while waving his thin hands that were like twigs.

"What are you doing here?" damien asked reluctantly to shift from the presence of Albert.

"The princes want to see you" he said.

As Damien became aware of the danger threatening them, he exclaimed to have Albert bow down but it was too late. With a speed that Albert could not turn against Zaruta was behind Albert and hit his nape, he fainted instantly while for Damien he sprinkled powder which when Damien breathed lost his consciousness.

No matter how long they were unconscious no one knew, because now they were in a room without windows or other gaps that could make the sun translucent.

"Where are we?" ask Albert.

"Vampire palace," said Damien who knew exactly where they were.

"Why are we here? who's the guy you call Zaruta?" ask Albert again.

"Explain later, the most important thing is that whatever they say keep your head down and don't look them in the eye. Second you're my surprise son so your life is safe but if you interfere in my affairs you're done" Damien said.

"You mean?" albert asked in wonder because Damien was suddenly inflamed.

"The point is to be quiet and be a submissive child!" damien.

Albert instantly silenced his mouth, only noticing how Damien bulak was staring back at the door in front of them until someone opened it.

"Oh you guys woke up faster than I imagined," said Zaruta.

"Your stupid powder is not as good as it used to be" Damien said.

"At least it keeps you unconscious, let's go! the princes have been waiting for you," Zaruta replied.

Albert was a little strange because he was not forced to walk as Cheet's men did, when clearly his current condition was as a prisoner.

The vampires simply watched with their red eyes while escorting up to the throne of the princes.

"Damien.

Though he kept his head down but from his feet Albert could see the prince descending from the throne and hugging Damien, then walking over to him.

"So this is your slave? I didn't expect that in the end you would reveal your true nature" he said.

"He's my surprise kid!" ralat Damien is firm.

Albert was quite shocked when the prince's hand touched his cheek, so cold as ice that it gave him goosebumps.

"Who's your name?" ask the prince.

"Albert," he said slowly.

"Albert. mm. you have a seductive fragrance, your skin is also smooth like most princes. I want to see if you have beautiful eyes?" the prince asked while trying to raise Albert's chin.

But since childhood Albert has been taught to obey, so he closed his eyes when his head looked up. Making the prince a little furious but then a little smile, releasing Albert he again sat on his throne.

"Now you can lift your face up" whispered Damien.

"The one in the middle of Prince Dimitri, to the left of prince Jacspher and to the right of prince Aro," Damien told the court.

Albert slightly lowered his head to pay his respects, making the three princes smile happily as they again felt a sensation in the puja they had almost forgotten.

"You're a very obedient and kind child" Aro praised clearly showing interest.

"What if we get to the point? what made me forcefully invited?" ask Damien not to be too tight.

"Ah you're really impatient, but it's true! let's just rank. I want you to hand Sophia over to us" Dimitri said.

"In return what will you give?" damien asked that made Albert widen his eyes.

"You're on the hunt because of the girl, with many of our enemies offering protection for you. Besides, you have every right to be the first to drink his blood" he bargained.

Albert wanted to talk because he was not happy about the offer, but Damien immediately gave a signal reminding him not to interfere.

"You know you're not the only ally I have" Damien said.

"How dare you!" hardik Jacspher's.

"I can protect myself and why do I share the Rider's blood with you?" damien asked in an understated tone.

Jacspher was about to rebuke again but Dimitri gestured for silence.

"You asked us to protect your slave or your surprise child" Dimitri said, staring at Albert.

"At that time what I was about to leave was a girl" Damien said casually.

"So, all right, you made the decision."

Albert was quite confused when the three princes just let them go, he had thought there was no serious problem until he realized since Damien put on a watchful face.

As they walked away from the palace, Albert asked, "Is there anything I don't know?".

"Yes, before I knew you were my surprise child, I had Sophia put on them to keep her safe. In return I will include them in the hunt of the Rider" he said.

"What's? you're putting a girl on a blood-sucking monster?" albert almost couldn't believe it.

"In a covenant a vampire is the creature that keeps the most promise, if I had known from the beginning that Sophia was the Rider then I would never have asked them for help. Now even you are in danger," he grumbled.

Albert could see the regret on Damien's face, making him quite pity.

"Teach me how to fight, until now my strength is not enough to continue to make it difficult for others" he asked.

"Whatever you're a vampire is no match for you, their movements are too fast for you to follow unless you fight with the help of sunlight."

"Then what should I do? I want to be useful too!" exclaim Albert emotion.

Damien stared fixedly at Albert's eyes, momentarily thinking and weighing.

"There's actually one way" he said.

"Whatis that? say it!" exciting Albert.

"Being a vampire."

"What's? me?" ask Albert who didn't think.

"I can turn you into a vampire, so you'll have the same power as them. But once you make this decision there's no turning back" Damien explained.
