Chapter 21 Meeting and Farewell

In the letter it is written that the daughter of Agrarta was taken captive by the Elves and was ready to be hanged if she did not come to fulfill the call, as the son of course Sophia could not let that happen.

With great regret he had to go alone, no matter what happened to him later he had to save his mother.

Walking alone through the forest without fear Sophia kept her ears set, making sure she herself was safe from dangers such as ferocious beasts or monsters.

The voice he heard was like the steps of someone making his hand hold the bow firmly, one hot child he had taken and he started installing it just in case.

His eyes were keenly watching around while guessing where the creature would appear from.

The voice grew clearer and clearer, pulling Sophia's bow ready to be the first attacker.

"I finally found you!" albert exclaimed suddenly out of the bushes.

Almost Sophia let go of her arrows, stunned she looked at Albert confused.

"Who are you?" tanyakanya.

"Sophia. I'm Albert, your twin sister."

It was a joke that was not funny, almost Patricia rebuked him all out but when he saw Albert's serious expression he asked "How is it possible?."

Albert immediately explained what had happened, about their deliberate separation to succeed to the throne of the Meseress kingdom.

Found the fact that Sophia just bowed lethargic, apparently all this time she had a brother hidden.

"The Elves have invaded the palace, captured it and made it their kingdom. There's really nothing left there but memories" Albert said.

"So it's all just a trap?" ask Sophia.

"They need us to make the Rider's resurrection ritual" Albert said.

"Then..what should we do?" ask Sophia.

"Return to Damien" replied Albert.

It was the right decision, so they chose to go to Alessa in the hope that Damien would be there.

Traveling with siblings turned out to be quite awkward apart from being happy, along the way they told a lot about each other's lives.

Albert who never knew how life in the palace many asked about their parents, Sophia happily answered even told about a happy life that in the end made them sad because of the loss.

"At least now that we have each other, I promise that even if my body is not strong, I will protect you" Albert comforted.

Sophia nodded gratefully, of course when she had lost all the family Albert was now the only one who meant the most.

"Well wow, I only threw the bait once but I got two tails."

Shocked Albert and Sophia immediately got up, staring at Cheet who had come with his men. Reading Albert's situation as soon as possible to come forward to protect Sophia, they had only been together for a few days of course Albert would not let Sophia disappear from his eyes again.

"Hmm, take the girl!" exclaim Cheet gave the order.

"I won't let it!" albert pulled out his sword.

The Elves began to attack, their swords clashing with sharpness in the air trying to paralyze each other. Not wanting to just watch Sophia intervene considering they were outnumbered, a year of studying at the Academy he soon practiced.

The arrows continued to fly from his bow, trying to stab at the chests of the Elves who were trying to hurt Albert.

But those Elves were trained warriors, their dexterity in attacking was quite terrifying and their agility in evading was extremely troublesome. There was no choice, they had to run away while they could.

"Cursue! don't let them get away!" yell Cheet.

Without reducing the speed he made a portal in front and took Albert across dimensions to escape, but unfortunately the portal he made did not close quickly so that the Elves still managed to catch up.

Sophia continued to do so until her power gradually drained and was unable to make any more portals.

The Syuuuuuutt Jleb

"Aah!"

"Albert!" peekik Sophia saw a needle that managed to stab her thigh.

"You okay?" tanyanya immediately checked.

"Go save yourself" Albert said, forcefully pulling the needle.

"No, I'm not leaving you."

"Sophia there's no time, the needles contain poison if you don't leave now they'll catch us."

"Therefore I will not leave you!" shouts Sophia insisted.

Albert was stunned to see the tears that instantly flooded Sophia's cheeks, there was clearly a disassociation there.

"I'll be fine" Albert said gently, wiping away the tears.

He displayed his best smile which made the crying stop.

"I don't want to part with you anymore" Sophia said.

"I understand, but this time we have to do it. You take it easy, I'll definitely find you again. Therefore go," Albert promised.

It would be bad if Cheet managed to get them both and Sophia knew that, but she could not sacrifice Albert for her safety.

In this life only Albert had therefore tears flowed back, upon hearing a step from afar Sophia spread her hands forward to make a portal.

This time he would have had enough time to save himself, walking slowly into the portal for the last time all he saw was Albert's smile and a word without a sound "I'll find you".

The portal closed just as Cheet and his men found Albert standing alone, knowing the needle contained only a mild poison that would render him unconscious for days.

Therefore he again raised his sword, although he knew in the end Cheet managed to catch him but at least he would be busy so as to lose track of Sophia.

" You. go ahead." cried Albert strengthening the grip of his sword.

The door opens, featuring King Thomas entering the room. The round tables of the other kings sitting in their seats rose to pay their respects, after King Thomas sat in his new chair they sat down and the meeting began.

"What do we have?" ask King Thomas.

"The strength of his military has increased, for some reason despite losing many people but within a year he managed to build a soldier with great strength" said King Arthur.

"If it continues to be allowed he will dominate" King Abner said.

"The Elves were scattered all over the world, when they heard Ursula had succeeded in building the kingdom they could certainly have sprung to the surface" King Thomas said.

That's an understandable idea.

"What about Sophia's daughter?" tanyakanya.

"They are still looking for him" said King Salim.

"We have to find it before Ursula, oh.... What item am I asking for is ready?" ask again.

King Abner nodded and in his right hand he handed him a small box, King Thomas checked the box to confirm its contents.

"Good, with this we stop Ursula," he said with a smile.
