Chapter 19 The Search for Damien

A year had passed quickly, he had not expected to be held back for so long because of the cry of a girl. Glancing back is of course easy for him to seduce because this is the first time he is so close to a girl, especially the girl is the son of the chief who became a myth.

Although he had to falter in his search Albert was grateful because he did not really stay there, he studied swordsmanship and so forth from the surrounding residents.

Its existence there has even been recognized as part of the population, but for a year still he decided to leave in the end.

And it was time to say farewell, his desire to leave had he conveyed to Mateo as well as others including Yarren.

Of course Yarren confronted him again, he did not want to part with the adoration of his heart without any clarity whether Albert would return.

That day Yarren sulked without even talking and continued to turn away from Albert, making him confused how to act.

"I'm sorry I can't promise if I'll come back, seizing the palace is not easy because it's not even a guarantee I'll survive. But even so you need to know that wherever I go my soul will still be in this tribe, in you."

That forced farewell certainly invited many tears on Yarren's cheeks, there were no words he could say when he saw Albert saying goodbye to the others and finally left without looking back to see him.

Breathing a sigh of relief finally Albert was able to get out of the cave with determination because he himself felt heavy to go, after everything he learned Albert decided to go to the nearby village and find out the situation of the Meseress palace now.

Spending almost all day he finally arrived at a village, from the innkeeper he learned that Ursula managed to build her own strength by utilizing the alliance with other Kingdoms.

This made Albert even more restless because the percentage to reclaim his palace would be difficult, but that does not mean there is no chance.

The next day he decides to continue the journey, if he wants to find Damien he thinks he has to find a place where the vampires live.

The sun was ready to sink when his steps were still left in the upper reaches of the river, from some sources he got a region on the mainland Antarela hill there is a magnificent castle facing the sea.

Believed to be the shelter of the creatures of the night, it took at least twenty days to get to that place from his feet on foot now.

Assembling the roots and the vine between the trees Albert decided to make a hammock, enough to take refuge from the boar that likes to butting but not with the creature he was looking for.

It was the first sound he heard as a warning start, clear enough in the middle of a silent night that his ears were on alert.

Back Albert heard the voice that he believed to be a bushes or dried leaves being stepped on, slowly holding the weapon behind his clothes Albert remained blindfolded but with increased vigilance.

For a few minutes the stillness of his heart sharply increased, the nervous heat of his body made a sweaty streak appear that would make the creature realize that he was just pretending to be asleep.

No choice, Albert had to get up and check things out.

Just as he opened his eyes the creature suddenly attacked him, lucky with swift Albert immediately dropped to the ground so that his body was safe even in just a few seconds.

Immediately rise up now he is ready to face a creature of human body but with fangs and red eyes are creepy, making Albert immediately aware of what he is facing.

There was no chance to talk let alone ask, the creature immediately attacked at a troublesome speed. Making Albert overwhelmed, lucky while in the Zimbe tribe he also learned martial arts that currently can defend himself from evil creatures.

His knife kept fending off the creature's sharp hooves, making Albert think in horror about what the nail could do to his flesh.

Unable to hold on, he must attack or be eaten.

With the step he had calculated his knife pierced right into his stomach, giving pain until the blood came out.

"Stop! I'm looking for Damien!" albert exclaimed before the vampire tried to attack him again.

"Uh, who are you looking for?" ask the vampire while pulling out the knife in his stomach.

"Damien, I'm his surprise son."

"What?" ask the vampire.

For a moment they fell silent, Albert let the vampire approach him as a sign of trust.

"Damien has a surprise child?" ask again.

"Yes, we got separated because of something. If you don't mind please tell me where he is" he said.

"Wait on! lest the girl who was a surprise child at that time, too" he murmured.

"You mean?" albert didn't understand.

"My name is Firat, I'm under Damien but I know enough about him. Now I don't know where he is but I can take you to someone who might know where he is" Firat explained.

"Really?" ask Albert happy.

Firat nodded confidently, even though vampires are deceitful creatures but when it comes to some important things they are the most honest creatures on earth.
