The magic classroom contained only a small high table that surrounded the room, Sophia entered following the educator as well as all her potential friends in magic including Ariana.
He stood right next to Ariana, looking at a small rock on his desk.
"Today we will study Telekinesis" said the educator who stands right in the middle of the room.
All listened obediently, paying attention to how the educator was able to lift the stone without touching it.
"The basis of Telekinesis is the power of the mind, when you have full confidence then it can be realized. You can give commands like 'move' or 'lift' to strengthen the belief" explained the educator.
The students nodded in understanding.
"Ariana try," he said.
All eyes were on him, a little nervous but the girl was able to control herself. Slowly the small stone on his desk moved, it made the disciples mutter in awe and shook his mind.
"Ahhh.." - The grunts were upset because the stone would not move again.
"Control yourself, the key is focus. Don't let your surroundings influence your thoughts to the point of inviting disobedience, now you all try."
All the disciples nodded and began to focus on their stone including Sophia, as the educator said she only needed to focus on the stone.
But in his mind what was present was Damien's face, then his smile and the touch of his lips were cold yet voluptuous.
One by one the disciples had succeeded but Sophia instead daydreamed and ignored the stone.
"It looks like you're not with us, Miss Sophia" said the educator.
"Sorry Mam," Sophia said quickly.
"Today is enough to get here, you can go back to your respective rooms," he said disbanded.
"You good?" ariana asked as they walked out of the classroom.
"Yes" Sophia said.
"Just calm down, you can do it later" said Ariana trying to entertain.
"I've moved the leaves to dance with me" he said.
"Then why couldn't you move that rock?" ask Ariana.
"My mind's fucked up, I really can't focus."
"Aaah, it's hard to start, I understand how you feel. But you don't have to worry! the gallant knights have returned after the test and tonight the Dean has prepared a welcome for them" Ariana said with a smile.
Sophia did not understand what she meant but she hoped it was a good thing, before the dinner they took off their black and white uniforms and wore colorful dresses with beautiful jewelry that perfected their appearance.
While Sophia who does not have all of it was borrowed by Ariana, of course she did not want her roommates to wear ugly clothes on the night the princes came home.
The hall which is usually just an empty place where everyone walks in one night is transformed into a beautiful dance floor, for Sophia has long felt she did not see the scene.
Making him long for his palace, where he also met with princes from other Kingdoms.
"Dwin!" ariana ran away.
Sophia noticed how her best friend met a prince and hugged him, and the prince smiled happily and praised Ariana's beauty.
"Let me introduce, this is Prince Edwin," Ariana said as Sophia approached them.
"It's an honor to know you, just call me Sophia" said Sophia who did not forget her manners as a princess.
"It's an honor for me, too" replied Edwin while kissing the back of Sophia's hand.
"Yes, he's my roommate" Ariana replied.
"So apparently, I'm glad to know now you have a bedmate. While I was away I was really worried about you," Edwin said clearly addressing his concern.
Realizing that there was a special relationship between them Sophia chose to leave, enjoying the party by trying to mingle with the others.
......................
He blinked in a dim light, taking a few minutes to adjust the view from the darkness.
"You're awake" Yarren said as he walked closer.
"How long am I sleeping?" tanyakanya.
"It should only be a few hours, it's the effect of the medicine I gave you but you sleep all day so it looks like your body needs rest."
Albert looked at his arm that was in the bandage, smiling he said thanks.
"Do you have no more candles? it seems like the light is lacking" he asked.
"It's a night of silence" he replied.
"You mean?" albert didn't understand.
"Come, my dad will explain it to you."
Pulling Albert's hand so that he got up they walked out of the room, meeting Yarren's father who was none other than the chief.
In the middle room there was also Yarren's mother and her little brother, sitting around a large circle in the middle.
"How are you doing?" ask Yarren's father.
"Well, thank you" Albert replied sitting down.
"Yarren has said what happened, I'm sorry this has happened to you."
"It's okay, misunderstandings happen often."
"I'm Mateo, chieftain and Yarren's father. He's my wife Ansida and Aslan" he said.
Albert nodded with a smile, staring at the candle flame that sometimes swayed the chief began the same story all year long on the day of silence.
"Time never changes, only the world and beings change it. The ancestors of the Zimbe tribe were aware of nature and the potential that must be developed, but they never wanted to change the world for the sake of natural balance.
Unlike other creatures who are immersed in their desires and continue to scavenge their potential and develop them, when what they plant cannot be harvested according to the plan the feeling of disappointment turns into a blackening anger.
Realizing that the only hope lies with our ancestors, they begin to seduce them into working together. But every rejection, even if subtly, has hurt their hearts and made it a bomb for us."
"The annihilation of the Zimbe tribe!" albert is aware of the story.
All eyes were on him, not because he had so boldly cut the story but rather that Albert was a stranger who should not have known the story.
"Yes, the mass extermination of the entire tribe of Zimbe. No matter the little boy, the woman, all were cruelly finished off. It was meaningless to fight because it would only aggravate the future, eventually those survivors decided to hide. Breaking ties with the outside world and forbidding his descendants to show themselves to the outside world to even interfere.
And since then there is also a tradition called silence, is the day we remember the heartbreaking tragedy. Deadly life force such as not working excessively, fasting all day, not using much light, all of it in honor of the spirits of the ancestors who are visiting us."
The story was over, ushering in a real cold and desolate air. Albert boldly asked, "Then what about me?".
"I'm a stranger, maybe my ancestors were involved in the tragedy as suspects. Are... Will you forgive me?" continues clarifying.
"The Zimbe tribe never looked back as regret, if it is true that your ancestors were suspects then the tandir has worked through the Yarren arrow as punishment. You are welcome here" replied Mateo wisely.
