Chapter 59 Latisha's Choice

Latisha went back into her room, she was given a schedule for tomorrow's activities by her supervisor so that day she could do anything including exploring.

He wanted it to be like that, but once Albert left he suddenly felt lonely until lazy to go out of the room. In the end he just went out for dinner and came back to sleep, just before morning he started his new routine.

Before entering the classroom he first entered the Dean's room, apparently Sir.Hummut had been waiting for him from earlier.

Already the law of every new student who comes will perform a determination ritual where it affects the time of his learning, the Dean told Latisha to stand in a pentacle that he had prepared.

Then he cast a spell that made the objects inside the pentacle hover around Latisha, without hesitation Latisha suddenly picked up a whistle.

The other things fell down, making the Dean quite surprised at what Latisha chose.

"Is something wrong?" ask Latisha confused.

"No dear, it's just that something you choose is unusual."

"You mean?" ask Latisha again.

"This whistle once belonged to a goat herder, he used to use it to call his cattle too far. He's not an ordinary shepherd, he's Dean. Father of all animals, all animals submit to him without exception. You've chosen this so your potential is in animal control" the Dean explained.

"really? I like animals!" exclamation Latisha.

The dean smiled, he then escorted Latisha to his class. The problem is very rare for anyone to have this potential, when they enter the class there are only two students there and will be three with Latisha.

"Mam, this is Latisha. From now on he will join this class," the Dean told the teacher and the homeroom teacher named Mariana or more familiarly called Mam.

Latisha entered the classroom which was a small room with shades of green and yellow, there were only two seats there and it was full. So with the magic of the Dean suddenly made one more chair, of course it made Latisha amazed.

"Sit down, son," Mam ordered.

"Kids introduce yourself" said Mam.

"My name is Percy" said a tall man with a thin body, his upper teeth appear more advanced to appear if he does not cover his mouth properly.

Her skin appeared paler as it lacked blood, she was at least a year older than Latisha.

"My name is Barney, hello!" said the other student.

His stature was shorter even than Latisha, but his age was the same as Latisha's. He has adorable chubby cheeks with a pleasant face, but his clothes are shabby like they have been worn for decades.

"This is the first time Latisha entered the Academy so she does not know all the places that exist, when the clock is empty do not forget to invite Latisha to play to your favorite room," said Mam.

"Good Mam!" yell at those two kids.

The first lesson begins, Latisha learns about the flesh-eating animals that are known to be ferocious. Knowing that such an animal roamed the forest there he was not afraid but rather curious, he wondered how handsome the animal was if seen in person.

A few hours in class without feeling rest time has arrived, Latisha scowled because she was still at home hearing Mam tell about many animals.

"Come Latisha! I'll teach you how to get good food" Barney asked.

Latisha was immediately enthusiastic, she was curious what good food Barney meant. As they arrive at Latisha's canteen do everything Barney does, from picking up a tray to thrusting it at the clerk there.

After finishing taking the food the three of them sat on the empty chair, Barney then had Latisha mix all the food into one and gobble it up.

"How's it?" ask Barney.

"Pulse... " Latisha could not answer.

His mouth was full and still chewing while Barney and Percy looked at Latisha curiously.

"There is a sweet, sour, savory taste mixed into one. Slightly mushy but not bad," Latisha commented after swallowing the food.

"really? hahahaha do you like it?" ask Percy not to believe it.

"Once again, I can't say I like it because I don't like the texture."

"Right, that's very disgusting Latisha. Next time don't follow Barney," Percy said.

"Why me?" barney asked offended.

"You suck!" percy Sahut.

"What did you say?" barney asked annoyed.

A small fight ensued between the two boys, Latisha who saw him instead of breaking up instead gave applause to enliven him.

"See that! two losers are fighting!" exclaim someone.

"Hey pretty, why do you want to sit with these two losers?" asked a male disciple while approaching Latisha.

"What do you mean?" tanya Latisha did not understand.

"They're from the animal class" he said.

"I know, I am also a student in that class," Latisha replied making all the students who heard gawking.

"really? you're part of those losers?" ask the student not to believe.

"I just came in today" Latisha explained.

"Oh, you're pretty. I didn't expect you to be as much of a loser as they are" the student said, then left them.

Latisha saw the gaze of all the students on her who seemed insulting, of course she did not understand why they did all that to her.

"They why?" tanyakanya.

"What do you mean?" reply Percy confused.

"Why do they look down on me?" latisha asked more clearly.

"Where are you from anyway? that's when you don't understand things like that" Barney grumbled.

Latisha stared innocently, making the two of them stare at each other.

"Listen, of all the majors that have animal classes are the worst. Our class is really not cool like the others that's why we're called losers" Percy explained.

"cool? why should we be cool? didn't we come to the Academy to study?" ask Latisha.

Barney was about to explain but he thought Latisha would not understand that the word cool is very necessary for teenagers like them, seeing how Latisha they are confused because Latisha is so innocent.

"Here you go, I'll just warn you if anyone makes fun of you you'd better ignore it. If anyone dares to hurt you just report to the teacher or the Dean," Barney said.

Latisha nodded although she still did not understand why anyone would want to make fun of her, the rest of the break she finally used to spend the lunch that long ago felt bad.

Entering the class after the hours of rest of the change teacher with a man named teacher Altan, he trained their physique to always be fit and train all their senses.

Just two hours they studied and Latisha could feel she could hear faint little voices, it was the noise of another class that should not be heard because the walls between classes were quite thick.

Realizing the potential of Latisha, teacher Altan became excited to teach the class, but at first he was very lazy. How not? the class only contained two students who were not so clever.

At four o'clock in the afternoon the whole lesson of the day had finished, Latisha returned to her room and changed into a uniform with the running clothes the Academy had prepared.

He chose to rest before then go for dinner, the plan after finishing dinner he would go rest again in the room.

But Barney and Percy come to see him to see the fireflies, out of curiosity Latisha comes along.

They sneak into the botanical class, continuing through the dark room until they reach the botanical garden.

Just as they arrived dozens of fireflies flying around the foliage, their flickering glow from a distance would appear like a star.

Unable to hide Latisha's admiration until she looked up at the fireflies flying above her head, Percy caught one and showed it to Latisha.

"They're insects?" tanya Latisha doesn't believe.

"Yes, aren't they amazing?" ask Percy.

Latisha nodded in agreement, she then tried to catch one to feel how her gel was as those tiny legs crept in her hands.

"If there are fireflies it means the air here is clean" Barney said.

"Is there dirty air?" tanya Latisha did not understand.

"Of course there are, like science classes. Too many chemicals so let alone plant fireflies die there" Percy said.

Latisha only found out about this, as long as he was in the Dragon world there was no dirty air.

Staring back at the fireflies he enjoyed their beauty until he spent hours, not feeling the sound of the bell of the curfew had arrived.

Rushing they left the place, as Barney and Percy drove Latisha to the door of her room.

"Thank you for driving me to tomorrow, guys!" latisha waved her hand before closing the door.

Percy and Barney returned the wave with the best smile they had, after Latisha closed the door and they left.

"Isn't Latisha really pretty?" barney asked while recalling how sweet Latisha's smile was.

"Mm, I still can't believe we're gonna get a pretty classmate" Percy said.
