Surprise Child's
Chapter 34 Signs In The Kenee

Tracing the forest without leaving a trace was the best way to hide, all the way in following Cheet's captive Sophia not a word was spoken on their lips.

Damien was well aware of Albert's current state of heart that was reluctant to be disturbed, therefore he let the young man dissolve in his own daydream.

But apparently Albert was not contemplating the tragic fate of his stay dead by a lover, just something else that disturbed his mind until he spoke for an opinion.

"Is it possible that all this has been arranged?" suddenly tanyanya.

"What do you mean?" damien asked.

"Your sword is not great especially when my body is weak after being held captive, I remember that when he drew my sword at Ursula he could have deflected it easily but instead took hold of my sword, and... yep! he deliberately drew his sword on my left side as if it was going to stab me in the stomach!" clearly assuming while remembering the fateful event.

"Wait on! you mean Ursula purposely let you kill her?" tanya Damien summarizes.

"I'm not so sure, but that's how I feel."

Damien was silent immediately thinking, there is a possibility that it happened but what Ursula's purpose is to do this is not easy to guess.

"Didn't he just lose out on doing this? he lost his life and the palace he had so desperately taken away must have just been destroyed" Damien said.

"But I feel he has arranged everything" Albert insisted.

"Here you go, we think about it while looking for Sophia" Damien said.

......................

A squirrel the size of an adult's fist ran rapidly down the trunk of a tree, picking up acorns that had not long fallen with both of his tiny hands.

Sniffing a few times while turning the acorn in his hand as if he was checking it was a good seed, he was about to return to the top of the tree to enter his nest when his instincts were activated all of a sudden.

A movement of the falling hand gave rise to a subtle sound that made him fixated, he quickly ran to the roots of the tree to take cover. But after a few seconds nothing happened, the curious squirrel ran slowly towards the source of the sound.

Finding a hand with a bruised wrist she sniffed it for a few seconds, Sophia woke up to the amused touch.

"Mmmmm." he squirms, scaring the squirrel until it runs up the tree.

Glancing at the left right he remembers falling asleep last night because he was tired of running all day, a few seconds after his memory had completely returned it was precisely what he remembered just as he stood glued while Cheet and his men were sprawled on the ground without explanation.

He remembers checking their bodies and not finding any injuries, despite the astonishment, but he chose to run away while he could.

His rumbling stomach plus tired all day walking and running made him sleep under an oak tree without any protection, lucky during sleep no wild animals or anything that hurt him.

Waking up hungry and thirsty made him quickly search for something to eat, lucky few steps walking forward down the forest he found a pear tree that was bushy fruit.

For hours he walked until the sun was ready to set, right in front of him a steep cliff stands majestically will the palace with black paint.

In the middle of it he could see a huge hole that was likely a cave, curious enough to know why Sophia chose to climb the precipice.

It wasn't easy because its slightly slippery surface nearly knocked him down several times, it exhausted him quickly as adrenaline pumped his heart continuously.

Just when the sun was dim he finally got up there, slamming his body on the rough rocks he immediately set his breath.

Sreet Tuk Tuk Tuk Tuk

A small pebble fell down the ravine as he stood, apparently the place was more terrifying than it looked. Slipping just a little he can fall and die horribly down there with a body scattered, this makes him have to be careful in every step.

Entering the cave as expected the atmosphere was dark without any lighting, because it found nothing that could be used to make fire Sophia decided to walk slowly by sticking to the cave wall.

Groping whatever his hands could reach until his eyes got used to the darkness, it turned out that the cave was deeper and wider but did not smell as damp as most caves.

Instead it was like smelling oil and scorching, like something was often burning there.

Bums

Suddenly the cave shook, Sophia quickly clung to the rocks while curling up. His mind was already drifting on the tragic death he was about to undergo when the cave collapsed due to the earthquake, but the intense tremors stopped.

Bums

When the second vibration Sophia felt was not a natural disaster but a giant step, she silently watched around until she found the figure that made the great vibration.

Even in the darkness he could see a large muzzle with nostrils that emitted smoke, then his mouth opened and suddenly fire gushed out burning something on the outskirts of the cave so that now he could clearly see the figure.

His eyes were as clear blue as the ocean, his skin filled with scales that glittered in the light. Making a variety of beautiful colors ranging from sapphire green to gold, but one that makes Sophia's eyes can not turn is on the red color of blood that drips out of the tip of her wings.

Sophia had a strong desire to try to treat the wound, but she was too afraid to face the creature so it took her a few minutes just to prepare herself.

Slowly walking out he raised both hands above his head a sign of surrender, of course Sophia's sudden presence made the creature rise and ready to spout fire.

"Wait on! I have no intention of evil!" exclaim Sophia.

They looked at each other, without Sophia realizing she had entered the mind of the creature. The mark on his forehead was now clearly visible, carrying his soul on the mount that stood gallantly right before him.

He could see what the creature had seen all this time, his life up to the wound he had received on the tip of his wing.

The Rider and his dragon have now been met by fate, ready to live what has been outlined to them.
