Suddenly a hysterical shout from outside distracted them, then a soldier rushed in with an anxious face.

"Your Majesty is under attack!" yells.

"You guys okay?" asked Yarren who was immediately answered with a nod.

"Good, we deliberately asked King Salim for help to save you. Of course I'm just saying Albert was taken prisoner so we have to leave before King Salim tells his soldiers to kill Sophia" he explained.

"You're the one who asked King Salim for help?" ask Sophia.

"It was Damien's idea, actually" he said.

Albert was aware that perhaps he was the cause of the Rider's mark, had he never hesitated at Sophia's desire to remain a daughter of Meseress, perhaps all would not have been this difficult.
