Surprise Child's
Chapter 15 Exam

Welcoming the morning in the village of Zimbe gives a different sensation to Albert, he sees how they greet each other and talk. Truly the village is a real interpretation of heaven, making him not want to go but in fact he should not linger there.

"You wanna come?" tanya Yarren approached.

"Where?" tanyakanya.

"Just pick some fruit to eat" he said.

Albert nodded and followed the girl's steps, in the vast village they went to the garden where it was located just below the high cliff.

It was a cliff that surrounded the village, high and steep enough to be difficult to conquer. The only access to the village was through the cave they passed yesterday.

"Are you in the law?" ask Albert.

"Of course, I can't go out again for some time."

"Your father said no one should come out of this village, so why do you insist on hunting outside?" tanyanya.

"We're not entirely in brackets, we can go out for interests like finding groceries or medicine. You know even though this village is vast but with so many people the food is certainly not enough," he explained.

Albert nodded in understanding, meaning that they simply could not make it to meet strangers.

"Try it" Yarren said giving a tempting red apple.

Sitting on the grass while enjoying the view of Albert did not expect there to be such a peaceful life.

"I'll go tomorrow" he said slowly.

"Why?" asked Yarren in shock.

"I have to find Damien, I also want to reclaim my palace."

Sret

Unexpectedly Yarren slashed Albert's arm right where the scar from the arrow was, shocked and confused Albert just stared at Yarren.

"You can't leave, your wounds haven't healed yet" he said slowly.

Smiling now Albert understood what Yarren was doing, his hand stroked the girl's cheek. Then go into the sidelines of his hair to send evocative tendrils, slowly but surely their heads approached each other.

Feeling each other's breath to immerse a soft touch on the lips, not excessive but enough to put pressure until Yarren sighed.

"Can't you stay longer?" tanyakanya.

"If that's your wish, I can also reach for the stars if you tell me to. But I still can't stay" Albert said.

"I understand," replied Yarren.

......................

"It looks like you're enjoying the party" Sophia said as they prepared to take lessons.

"Oh I haven't seen Edwin in a long time so we had a lot of chat last night" he said.

"You're so close apparently."

"Hahahaha of course, we've been engaged even since infancy."

"Really?" sophia asked in disbelief.

Sophia did not expect it, but knowing it made her filled with such a romantic story.

"And you gladly accept it" he said.

"Yeah, hehe actually I didn't agree with. I mean I wanted to find my own prince, but after knowing Edwin I couldn't turn him down."

Sophia smiled, obviously happiness was emanating on her friend's face. Making him remember Damien and their incredible love story, unfortunately their journey together is not smooth.

"What about you? we are fifteen years old and it is time we think of a companion in life" said Ariana.

"I was also betrothed when I was a baby, we had met and loved each other. But our journey is not as easy as yours" he replied.

"Oh Sophia I'm sorry, but you don't have to worry! here is the right place to strengthen yourself, just as we are trying to make our future bright as successors to the throne."

Ariana was right about that, Damien told him to learn so he should focus on learning so they can overcome problems together.

Finding the spirit in her Sophia succeeds in magic lessons, showing a rapid development to excel among her friends.

Without feeling finally a year has passed, now he has even turned sixteen years old. He impatiently awaits Damien's arrival to pick him up, but before that he has to think about the exam first.

The participants who will take the exam gather in the hall to get a card, later the card will be stamped if they have completed the exam.

One stamp applies to one test, if they have passed the first exam then they can continue to the next exam while those who do not have to repeat three times and if still do not succeed will take the exam next year.

"Are you nervous?" ariana asked as they entered the examination room.

"Little, how about you?" reply Sophia.

"I've been to the bathroom three times" he said with a tense face.

For some reason any test always drains a lot of energy, Sophia recalled that even when she was tested for her intelligence in playing chess her mind suddenly could not think clearly.

In a large enough room that only contains a lot of small tables, on top of which there is a pot with withered flowers that have almost dried.

In this first test they had to make the withered plant fresh again, participants were allowed to perform whatever magic was most important the flower was fresh again.

"What are you gonna do?" whispered Ariana who was standing next to him.

"Maybe resurrection magic, what about you?" his reply.

"That's hard enough, maybe I'll use some kind of switching magic."

Asking permission to the supervisor Ariana to take another plant from outside, with the magic of the change she needed to do was only to sacrifice another flower to revive the withered flower.

It was quite easy as he only needed to move life energy, in contrast to the resurrection magic that Sophia had chosen. He had to find the essence of life of the withered flower, if the flower had the potential to live then from the core of the sari Sophia was able to make it bloom beautifully. But on the contrary, if the flower does not have enough essence to rise then it is just a waste of energy.

Focusing on oneself without caring about others who had passed Sophia continued to try to find the core of the sari, entering past the withered petals with no sign of life.

Keep going in until he finds a hint of hope in the fading core, stretching his hand just above the flower beneath his conscious he gives a powerful boost.

Starting to cast a spell his palm let out a ray that slowly made the flower move, expand and finally bloom perfectly.

When he finished and opened his eyes how happy he was to see the flower had come back to life.

"Good work, Miss Sophia," the supervisor said.

Sophia smiled and gave her cards to stamps, there were still six more stamps she had to get her time preparing for her next exam.
