Chapter 45 Heart Rate Inside the Stomach

Sophia stared at how Alessa was saying goodbye, she hugged Damien long enough and it made Sophia feel a little jealousy.

After knowing Alessa's true feelings, she can't close her eyes, she will notice how Damien interacts with Alessa.

Sophia told Luca to land upstream of the river where Aro had been waiting for him since, seeing Albert who was lying on Sophia's land giving a sharp look to Aro.

"You know vampires are always trustworthy" Aro said,

"But I chose to be a vampire" Sophia insisted.

There was no choice, he had to trust Sophia if he wanted to. Aro lifted Albert's body and raised it on Luca's back according to the signal Sophia gave, after which he took a few steps back.

"Take Albert away, make sure he's safe" Sophia told Luca.

The dragon gave a slow nod, its wings wide and then unfolded to fly up into the sky.

Now that they were both alone, Sophia remained silent in place while Aro began to walk over to her.

His eyes were keenly watching Sophia, before immersing his cautious fangs Aro first made sure there were no weapons in the girl's body.

"Don't trust me?" ask Sophia.

Sophia let go of her hand, she was too shocked at the news she had just received. Of course she was happy to conceive the child of the man she loved, but her mind was too afraid of all the threats that would come to her.

"I'm sorry for the selfishness, but I'm going to the dragon world. This kid has to survive no matter what," he said.

Unfortunately, Damien was expecting a happy look but what he found was bitter anxiety. Even now Sophia seemed to not care about Albert's safety which he had always prioritized, smiling bitterly Damien said "If that's your decision."

They immediately returned to the cave, at the end of which there was only a dead end Sophia stopped. He looked at Albert and Damien who said nothing.

"You have to go to the forest of darkness again" he said.

"I understand" Damien said.

He nodded then turned back to face the stone wall, no parting speech that had been waiting for Albert so he called out "Wait!."

Sophia stopped her steps, turning around to listen to what Albert was going to say.

"Are we going to see each other again?" tanyakanya.

It was not Sophia could answer, she did not dare to go out of the dragon world carrying her child while there were many dangers threatening her life.

"Did you choose not to bring father and son together?" albert asked again which made Sophia realize she had made a big mistake.

He was consumed with his own worries without realizing that Damien had rights over their son, Sophia finally said.

"When this child is born and is old enough I will give it to you as a surprise child" he told Albert, to their surprise.

"Please promise to keep protecting her like Damien is protecting us" he said.

"Sophia." call Damien slowly.

"For that you must live!" he was resolute with a full smile yet rushing tears flowed down his cheeks.

Little run Sophia immediately hugged Damien, enjoying the coldness of the vampire's body that warmed her soul. Not to forget he also hugged Albert who is now also equally cold.

"You sure?" albert asked the decision Sophia had made.

"I believe you can protect him" he said.

Releasing that hug Sophia walked away, finally doing a proper farewell before leaving. Smiling at his two men this time he actually stepped inside through the stone wall together with Luca.
