Today no guests came but the castle was quite noisy, a new princess came to make amends for her father. He had tried to escape to end his life but the bodyguards did not let him, while Zaruta had not had time to meet him because he thought too much about Sophia so he did not taste.
"Your Majesty! mr. Red is back but " said a servant with a riled face.
"How dare you go in without permission and talk to Your Majesty like that! where's your respect!" hardik is a guard who stands just below the throne of Zaruta.
"I'm sorry, Your Majesty." said the servant in fear.
"Here you go, where's Red?" ask Zaruta lazily.
"Hamba here, my lord," Red said as he entered the room.
To Zaruta and everyone's surprise when he saw Red enter, all eyes were on what was in his hands. It was the head of Amora, the left hand of Zaruta who always envied the concubines for being able to pay more attention than Zaruta.
"What's going on?" ask Zaruta in a high tone.
Red immediately nodded in respect.
"The Rider who did this to Amora, she also has a message she wants to convey to you."
"Say!" zaruta's orders.
"He looks forward to the evening of the banquet at Enyver Castle" Red said.
Zaruta froze for a moment, recalling the great war that once took place in that castle. With a signal then he ordered Red to go carry the piece of Amora's head, while he got off the throne and walked out.
Escorted by two vampire warriors, Zaruta enters the room where the new princess lives, as soon as he enters the room the door is closed.
From the dim light of the candle he could see the princess curled up in the corner of the bed, her hair and clothes were messy but Zaruta could still see her beautiful face.
Slowly he climbed on the bed and approached the princess, the first touch Zaruta gave him on her knee.
He looked at Zaruta full of fear and compassion.
"Please set me free." he said.
Sssssssssshhhhhttt
Zaruta gave a silent gesture by sticking his index finger on the lips, the princess immediately silenced her mouth.
"You don't have to be afraid, I won't hurt you" he whispered.
His hand then turned to gently stroke the princess's head, slowly then he embraced it. Giving a sense of comfort even in a cold embrace, a few seconds later the princess resigned to her destiny.
He let Zaruta hold it until then stick his fangs in the neck.
......................
"Latisha." the call was clear and real.
Someone called him, he recognized the voice. Searching among the fog then what he found was his dragon, ducking down to give his head as usual so Latisha could pet him.
As soon as her hand touched the Dragon's head the message Sophia said was then conveyed to her, Latisha woke up from her sleep.
Panting Latisha glanced to the left right, from the gap of the window the morning light had entered making her room orange. Apparently he had been sleeping all night, sneaking and then the sound of people talking.
Curious Latisha got up from her bed, opened the door of the room she found it very dark and there was only a dim candlelight.
The voice of the talking people suddenly went silent as they found Latisha coming, slowly Damien then walked towards her with a longing look.
"Latisha." call her.
Latisha looked at Damien, finding out who the man looking at her was in such a way.
"I'm Damien," he said.
Now he knows, the father he had been looking for was so handsome and seemed young. Soon he hugged Damien, but the coldness of Damien's skin that touched him made him jerk in shock.
"Hahaha, your mother has always been like that if I touch her, too" Damien said with a laugh.
"Ah this is Albert, your mother must have told you a lot about him," he continued, pointing at Albert.
"Of course" said Latisha.
As soon as Damien got word from Alessa they immediately ran towards Alessa's house, sickly as they ran for an entire night before dawn arrived they had arrived.
Of course it makes Alessa surprised, but she can understand the feelings of both of them. Now that they had met Latisha, the problem was that Sophia was not with them.
Damien had heard from Latisha that Sophia was trying to save Latisha by taking care of a female demon, of course it made them worry about Sophia's safety.
"Now we need to find Sophia" Albert said.
"No need" said Latisha who made them look at him.
"I got a message from mom that a big war is going to happen again at Enyver Castle, I don't know what's going on but I'm sure you're going to go to that castle" he explained.
They stared at each other, fourteen years had passed since the great war. Those who are still alive try to survive at all costs, even Alessa herself willingly tied to a village for her safety.
"I'm going to ask Meg for help" Albert said.
"No, we've been troubling them. Look now they're alienated in the mountains because of us" Damien said.
"But we can't possibly fight many armies alone!" exciting Albert.
"This is our war! it's enough Albert," Damien replied insisting.
They were silent, obviously Albert was upset because of Damien's stubborn nature. But he also can't talk anymore because what Damien said is true, until whenever they will continue to target Sophia as long as they know Sophia is alive. That means that this war will never end.
"What if I ask the Dragons for help?" latisha asked suddenly.
"The Dragons? are there many Dragons in this world?" ask Alessa.
"I was born and grew up in the world of Dragons, a place very different from this world. There are a lot of Dragons and if I do the talking maybe they'll help" he said.
"It looks like it's worth trying" Alessa said.
Damien looks mused, he is not sure Latisha is able to control the Dragon because he feels although born of the Rider he is not the Rider.
"All right," but there's no choice but to try.
"After sunset I will go straight to the castle, while you will be in between Albert to return to the Dragon world" he continued.
"What about me?" ask Alessa.
"Are you going to fight again?" ask Albert.
"Hey! why am I suddenly so isolated? come on. I'm still part of this group" she protested.
Hahaha
They laughed, there was at least a bit of entertainment in the midst of the turmoil.
......................
The night comes quickly, as Damien and Alessa plan to go straight to the castle while Latisha and Albert go to the cave.
Racing the horse to be faster until Albert can be so good at controlling his horse even at night, Latisha who sits behind the first new enjoy the night breeze in a new world that turns cooler.
The distance between the village of Tutua and the cave to the Dragon world is quite far, apparently one night using a horse is not enough. As a result of the morning came they were forced to find a dark place for Albert, quite troublesome indeed.
In the middle of the forest fortunately they found a cave that although not deep but enough to shelter from the sun.
"I'm sorry that our trip was disrupted, if I could walk during the day we would have arrived by now" Albert said.
"There's no point in apologizing, now all we need to do is hope the war hasn't started" Latisha said.
"It seems not yet, what Sophia will fight is the vampires. They'll also be out tonight" he said.
Latisha nodded, not understanding the new world even though Sophia had a hard time explaining everything.
"Oh yes," Latisha said suddenly.
He pulled out a piece of deer horn that Sophia had given him.
"Mom gave it to me, she said it's your gift" she said.
Albert took the object and saw it, soon he remembered that it was given by the werewolf child.
"Did your mother explain why I gave this to her?" asked Albert who was immediately answered with a headband.
"I originally got this from a werewolf boy, he said in a herd of werewolves if a man gave a bone, horn or tooth to a woman that meant a proposal. But as time goes by that meaning turns into a love that can be used in all ages and relationships, she said, when I got this piece of deer antler they told me that even though I was a human being who became a vampire who was their natural enemy but they still loved me. That's why I gave it to Sophia as a good luck charm" he explained.
"The piece of deer antler was broken into two pieces, one mother gave it to me and the other she kept. But when we were in danger, I gave the rest of the pieces to me" Latisha said.
"Then I'll keep it again" said Albert, tying his rope around his neck so that the piece of horn became a necklace.
Latisha watched Albert, scrutinized every inch of the vampire's face and realized there were handsome strokes there.
"I thought Sophia would hand you over to me once you reached at least fifteen, I didn't expect this to be any faster" Albert said.
"Why?" ask Latisha.
"When Damien took your mother she was fifteen" Albert said.
"So you're glad I'm here in two years?" ask Latisha sharply.
"Of course not! every day I count the stars so that my mind is distracted from things about you," Albert said, which somehow makes Latisha blush.
"We should rest, use the best time possible so that later tonight we can continue the journey," Latisha said immediately turned around.
He huddled on the ground with his back to Albert hoping that Albert would not hear his heartbeat so fast that it seemed as if he was about to jump out.
Albert himself who had just realized that Latisha was embarrassed suddenly remembered Yarren, his lover also often threw away his face if in a state of embarrassment.
