Sense of Sense

Sense of Sense
The Power of Safira

Nita breathed a heavy breath. The sound of falling objects followed by a loud cry asking for plane tickets made Nita's attention distracted for a moment.

“I'm afraid Safira misunderstands that I'm talking. I don't want him to think that I'm not serious about mending a relationship with Zain.” Nita throws a glance at a picture of herself with Safira and Zain in a restaurant framed on a table, a photo taken months ago. “My relationship and Zain is much better thanks to Safira, now Zain even wants to call me, mommy. So I don't want her to come to mind, especially now approaching labor. Sapphira it .. although it does not seem to care, but actually the least bagaan.”

Ashqar knows that best. How Sapphira continued to try to get Nita closer to Zain, even his wife, until making plans and making routine agendas so that they could gather together.

“Alright,” said Ashqar, exhaling slowly. “Let me tell Safira. But chances are after that he will definitely still contact you, so please explain slowly.”

“Yes, I understand. Thanks before. Asslamu’alaikum.”

“Wa’alaikummusalam.”

Then the call was interrupted. While saving his phone back, Ashqar still notices Alvin and Zain who are now struggling on each arm of Rafa. Ashqar discouraged the intention to end the fun of his two sons, maybe a few more minutes no problem. All of you give time for yourself to compose the right sentence on Sapphira later.

At least Ashqar also felt sorry for thinking badly about Nita, but he felt it was human. Given how his ex-wife's selfish temperament used to be, no doubt make Ashqar feel should be wary of him.

But if recalled, later after Sapphira interfered in Zain and Nita's relationship, Ashqar felt that his ex-wife was slightly changed. On the other hand, Nita thought a lot more about Zain. Although Ashqar honestly rejected Safira's idea that Nita and Zain should have a certain time to meet, but thanks to his wife's deadly persuasion he finally collapsed.

“Mas cannot separate Zain from his birth mother. Not that time we agreed to love Mbak Nita a chance to be close to Zain?” So Safira said when she hesitated to agree to Safira's suggestion.

“Mas not join?”

Ashqar flinched then turned his head. “Udah finished the treatment?” ashqar asked, leading Sapphira to sit on the chair he had occupied before.

Sapphira sat down slowly and let Ashqar compose the cushion of the sofa she took from inside the house onto the chair. “Udah, Mas. The kids from earlier played with the water?”

“Iya. Want me to get them out now?”

Safira. “Ten more minutes, out of it ask them to go outside. Fear of cold later even catch a cold.”

Ashqar's murmur sounded smooth. While sitting on the floor, he rubbed Safira's distended stomach. “Jagoan papah how are you?”

“Good, Pah,” Safira replied in a contrived voice, then she chuckled to herself because of it. “So when I was treated, she was kicking, Mas.”

“But you're okay, ‘kan?” Ashqar's voice sounded hawatri and it was met with Sapphira's subtle laughter.

Ashqar. “You're exactly like Rafa. Glad to tease people keep.”

“Absolutely not so? ‘Lah, you guys are the same.”

It was a little difficult for Ashqar to hold the arch on his lips. He chose to be busy rubbing Safira's stomach rather than responding to his wife's joke. Since Sapphira's belly grew, their child-to-be was the most powerful magnet for Ashqar.

Not just for him, but for Alvin and Zain, also Rafa and Edi. Sapphira seemed to turn into a strong magnetic field that attracted all the attention of men in their family to continue to pay more attention to Sapphira. Even Zain always visited Safira's room and gave kisses to his future sister.

“Kata Mas Alvin, now Mamah does not need to go to Mas Alvin's room with Zain anymore. Poor baby sister is tired, so every night Zain same Mas Alvin who to the room Mamah.” So did Zain when Safira asked about their nightly routine that changed.

“Mas, kids.”

Ashqar blinked, then turned his gaze towards the swimming pool. “Alvin! Zayn! Come on, get outside. Shrimp water main.”

Alvin was the first to go outside from the pool. However, another case with Zain who seemed to pretend not to hear Ashqar's words. From his place, Ashqar could hear Alvin coaxing Zain who was sulking and did not want to get out of the pool.

“Yang, I think you need yourself to say, deh.”

Safira breathed a rough breath. “Zaini Yudistira,” call Sapphira soft with a voice that is quite loud. Then sure enough, Zain who initially seemed reluctant to get out of the pool immediately grabbed Alvin's hand and followed him.

“It is still a mystery, why if you call the children, they must immediately like a duck to meet the shepherd?”

“If they are ducks and I am herdsmen, then what then?” ask Safira nosy.
