Sense of Sense
The True Truth

“What if the one who killed my mother was not actually Pakde Teguh?”

“What do you mean, Rafa?”

Ashqar flinched and subconsciously came out of hiding, facing Edi and Rafa who were still struggling. In front of him, Edi's back stood upright covering half of Rafa's body, leaving one netra that looked sharp and cold staring at Edi.

Until Rafa blinks, Ashqar realizes his mistake and immediately goes back into hiding. He hopes that Rafa is not really aware of his presence.

Meanwhile, Rafa looks behind Edi, but finds no one there. He saw someone through the tip of his eye. Rafa raised his shoulders, quickly ignoring it.

“Mother killer is not Pakde Teguh.” Rafa repeated his words. “She was at the time and in the wrong place at that time.”

Edi shook his head violently and took a few steps back. “Do not mess around,” says Edi gamang. “All evidence points to Mas Teguh as your mother's killer. No one can be blamed but him.

“But what's the motive?” todong Rafa's. And before Edi managed to interrupt, Rafa said, “Your quarrel? How big and what are you really fighting about? I've never heard the details from mr.”

“You were a child at that trial. Mas Teguh himself admitted at the trial that he killed your mother and the motive was heartache. It's true that he didn't mean to kill your mother because the real target was the father, but what was the end result? The one who ended up being the victim was your own mother. So stop saying things that don't make sense.”

“I have evidence from the events of the day even though important evidence has not been found and there is a possibility of being deliberately removed so that it only leads to Pakde steadfast.”

Ashqar peeked back. Curiosity and distrust eat away at his patience, but he must hold back if he wants to hear more information that of course he will not be easy to get if he asks directly to Rafa or Edi.

He saw Rafa handing over a brown envelope to Edi who was sitting limp while looking at the thing in his hand. His father-in-law seemed unsure when he opened the envelope. However, Edi's expression changed, surprised when he pulled a piece of paper that Ashqar could not guess what it was and he grew curious.

“Where did you get this?”

“From our old house.”

Edi quickly took out the contents of the envelope, spilling it on the table. Ashqar was not sure, but he could see some old paper.

Edi took one, read it and then took another. And so on up to three times. Later on, Edi looked at Rafa with a look of disbelief. “You ... all this time, since when did you investigate this?”

“Since long.” Rafa was not far from Edi. “But not long ago I learned that the sender of the letters was Pakde Teguh and not Om Eko, letters that I never reply.”

“That's just a little bit of evidence that I managed to gather. All the evidence is indeed impressed to lead to Pakde Teguh, but I feel actually not so. As if everything has been arranged so that the original perpetrator escapes,” continued Rafa. “What is clear, Pakde Teguh is not a mother killer and who is the real villain .. Although there is no strong evidence, but I am sure you can expect it.”

Ashqar drew further when he heard the approaching footsteps. He guessed it was Rafa because the atmosphere became so silent after the man spoke.

Covered in anxiety for fear of being caught off guard, Ashqar thought of escaping. He looked in all directions, making sure again that no one was around. However, the hard move restrained Ashqar's movement.

Ashqar's right leg lifted up in the air and petrified in place. Afraid he glanced to the side and how surprised Ashqar found Rafa standing there, silent and looking straight ahead.

“Basic disrespectful,” said Rafa briefly then waltzed away.

Ashqar staggered backwards while exhaling a rough breath. Because so surprised Ashqar to the point of unconscious has held his breath. He then leaned against the wall, pressed against his chest and set his breath. Ashqar really hopes if Rafa does not recognize himself because he has distanced himself from the door that leads to the backyard, especially Rafa did not glance at him earlier. Yes, there was no harm in wishing even though her little heart said otherwise.

Nara Corner :

Confused please docked 🤭

Yep! Really, 2 previous chapters, this chapter and maybe the next chapter will discuss the past that is still not looking at the net.

If you want, in Ansu discussed about the history of why Sapphira was separated from his father and brother and why Eyang Suprapti hated the same Sapphira, yes this is the reason. Just a reminder, Suprapti has 2 children. Teguh or Hendra the same Eko, Teguh the first child who is not recognized by the Sumarno Family and Eko Suprapti's favorite child.

The point is that Safira's past story will close the book. Ok, see u on next chapter~
