My beloved Young Miss
62. Breakfast With Daniel

"Want breakfast first?" bargain Daniel, while his eyes were still focused on the street in front of him.

Evelyn who was playing her phone turned to Daniel. "You hungry?"

"Lumayan. You want us to get some food first?"

"No problem." Evelyn replied as she nodded her head slowly. "May be."

"You haven't had breakfast yet, have you?"

"Yes, it hasn't" Evelyn replied, putting her phone in the bag. "I just finished taking a shower after exercising when you came to my house."

"really?"

"Yes, I haven't even touched my breakfast yet."

"Good then" said Daniel braked his car after seeing a traffic light that showed red. "I happen to have a restaurant recommendation that you should try."

"Seriously?"

"Yes,"

"Nobody?"

"I think it's a champion. I've never found anything better than this. The food is also good and clean."

"Yes, then I want to try too" Evelyn nodded her head. "Where's the restaurant?"

"I'm going to take you there this morning" Daniel said, driving to the restaurant he was referring to just now.

Fifteen minutes later they had arrived at the restaurant Daniel was referring to.

"How's the food?" daniel put food in his mouth. "Enak, right?"

"Lumayan."

Daniel raised his eyebrows, "Lumayan?"

"Yes," Evelyn nodded lightly.

That made Daniel grieve.

"That's right." Daniel said.

"What's wrong?"

"Come on, Eve." Daniel put the spoon and fork on the plate. "This is a very fast food for thumbs up. Isn't it amazing? They've just opened up but can serve you this delicious meal."

Evelyn flicked her shoulders, "But to me this is just good, Daniel."

"Ck, why is it so hard to conquer that high taste of yours. Next time, I won't have high expectations about your opinion." Daniel shook his head, staring in disbelief at Evelyn.

"True, next time you have to remember to not be easily disappointed. It's not easy to make me satisfied with something."

"Yes, right. No need for food. Not even a man can make you happy, can he." Syndicate Daniel.

Evelyn rolled her eyes lazily. "You're on a different topic, Daniel."

"No, I'm discussing your taste." Daniel replied. "So far only one person has been able to get into your criteria. By the way when are you gonna take that guy out to eat with me and Ziva?"

"Who?"

"You know exactly who I mean."

"Yes, with Ziva too. I'm sure Ziva must be curious about her, too."

Evelyn frowned.

"You don't usually eat with strangers."

"Come on, he's not a stranger. As your best friend, I like him. He's a good young man. If we met, I could warn him to be careful with you "

"What do you mean by being careful with me, what am I?"

"You are like this."

"How so? Speak clearly, Daniel.

"No. Forget it." Daniel shook his hand. "This is why I want you to take her so we can meet."

Evelyn stared at Daniel for a few seconds before nodding her head.

"I'll try to take her next time."

"Yes, you just take him to our next meeting" Daniel said happily. Suddenly Daniel had an idea. The young man then flicked his finger, "or you can just tell me where the address is."

"I don't even know where his house is. Why the hell?"

"Well, I think I can help you pick her up later."

"What's? You're gonna pick her up."

"Of course, why not" said Daniel, silent for a moment, seemingly thinking and leaning on Evelyn.

"How about now." he said again.

"What is it now?"

"He's eating with us here. At this restaurant. How's it?"

Evelyn nearly choked on her own saliva.

"If you want I can get Alvin here right now. You can tell me where the house is. I can go to get her."

"Don't fuck around, Daniel." Evelyn said.

Evelyn got out of the car with a faint smile. He stared at the watch in his hand for a while before then leaning over to look back inside the car window.

"Thank you for taking me to campus today" Evelyn told Daniel, clutching her sling bag.

Daniel responded with a nod while his eyes stared into Evelyn's campus. "You sure you don't want me to take you directly to your faculty building?"

"No need." Evelyn refused. "I can walk from here."

"okay." Daniel nodded small. He restarted his car engine. "I'll go first."

Evelyn nodded. "Good bye."

"Good bye."
