My beloved Young Miss

My beloved Young Miss
44. Karina Must Be Sorry

Alvin walked down the aisle of the campus, quickly heading to the nearby school hall. Previously, Dave asked Alvin to wait for him there during the return hour because Dave had to go to the lecturer room first.

"Where's Dave?" Alvin kept pacing back and forth waiting for Dave. He looked at the watch in his hand for the umpteenth time. It had been almost thirty minutes he had waited, but his friend had not revealed his nose at all.

"Have you been waiting for me for a long time?"

"Stupid question, Dave!" alvin answered a little. "You're going to waste my break this way.

Dave laughed, "Come on Alvin, you're only waiting for me for a few minutes but you've been nagging like this."

"Thirty minutes."

"Yes, thirty minutes. Thank you for waiting for me for thirty minutes." - Dave relaxed. "That's great. I think you'll be fine even if you wait longer than this."

"What do you mean?"

Dave stared at the watch in his hand and stared at the area around campus. "It looks like the campus is very quiet. Come on, let's go home now."

After saying that, Dave immediately stepped foot, leaving Alvin still cengo in his position.

"What the hell does that mean." grumbled Alvin and then followed Dave.

But at that time also his phone rang, a notification sign of incoming messages. As he stepped up, Alvin opened his phone. The young man's expression instantly changed, suspiciously finding Karina's name on the screen.

Read a message from Karina. 'I want to talk to you.'

Alvin sighed after reading the message. His voice sounded so tired. Karina's infuriating attitude towards him was felt to be excessive.

Not intending to reply to the message from Karina, Alvin prefers to put his phone back in his pants pocket with a lazy movement.

"What's that from your new boyfriend." asked Dave who was next to Alvin, looking curious.

"Who?"

"The one who just sent you a message. Is he your new boyfriend?"

"What love? Don't slur."

"I'm just asking. No need to be angry." Dave replied glancing cynically. "I'm just hoping that you can move on from Karina by having a new boyfriend."

"Yes, but I don't have a boyfriend."

Dave shrugged both his shoulders casually, "I told you just now. That's hope. As your best friend."

Alvin shook his head while smiling wryly. As a friend, there's nothing wrong with Dave's expectations. But hope is only hope. Because in the near future Alvin has not thought to find a new lover.

Speaking of a new lover, Alvin suddenly recalled the moment Evelyn claimed to be his lover in front of Karina.

Alvin smiled knot.

To be honest, in the depths of his heart, Alvin felt so happy when he saw Evelyn defending him by claiming to be his lover.

At that time Evelyn was really acting as her lover. It looks so real. Either because Evelyn is too deep into the role of her lover or Alvin who is carried away by feelings.

And even more ridiculous was the offer that Evelyn gave about replying to Karina. Alvin admitted that the idea sounded interesting, but Alvin was certainly not the one who could do such a thing.

"You okay?" dave asked, breaking Alvin's daydream.

"Huh?"

Dave rolled his eyes lazily. The young man let out a long sigh and folded his hands in front of his chest. "Don't you hear what I just said?" his gerrick.

"I'm sorry, I wasn't focused."

"No focus? So you didn't hear me at all?"

Alvin scratched his nape awkwardly, "Sorry, Dave."

"Geez, I've been talking at length since then but you didn't even hear me. I was like talking to the wind." Dave pretended to pat the wind and gave it to Alvin. "I've been talking to this since."

"I'm sorry" grumbled Alvin immediately brushed off Dave's hand that was about to give the wind, making Dave giggle amused.

"I think today you daydream a lot, yes." said Dave while slowing his steps to align with Alvin.

Both of Alvin's brows furrowed, "hm?"

"Look at this, you don't even understand what I'm talking about. You're thinking about something else, aren't you? What are you thinking?" ask Dave curious.

"It's actually about Karina" Alvin said, ultimately choosing to tell a story.

Dave raised one of his eyebrows high when he heard Karina's name called. "Who did you say? Karina?"

"true."

"Why him? What's with that shitty witch?"

"The one who just sent me the message was Karina."

Dave suddenly flicked his steps and turned to face Alvin.

Alvin steps stopped when he found out Dave suddenly stopped his steps and turned towards him.

"What did you say?" ask Dave.

"Karina called me." repeated Alvin.

Dave's face was hardened, but he said nothing.

"He's actually been trying to see me a few times" Alvin continued.

"Did he see you?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"Why else would he come to see you?"

"I was wondering the same thing. He's a little weird. He said I should stay away from someone he doesn't like."

Dave snorted, "I think he's crazy for still daring to ask you that. Who are you supposed to stay away from?"

"An acquaintance."

"Contactments? What is a woman?"

"Hm. She is a girl I believe has had conflicts with Karina before. They meet, apparently know and throw insults at each other. That's why Karina told me to stay away from that girl."

"Karina is so insane. Does he think you're still his girlfriend so he can manage who you're friends with?"

"That's what I think too. You tau? Karina's been looking for me a few times just to make sure I'm willing to stay away from that girl.

Dave looked at Alvin straight, a triumphant smile clearly plastered on his face and looked at Alvin with a satisfied expression.

"Congratulations Alvin. I thought you were the winner here." Dave patted Alvin on the shoulder.

"Winner what do you mean?"

"Karina. I think you're the winner. He began to regret his own actions for having appeared to you. And right now he was feeling jealousy in his heart"

Alvin grumbled, "I'm sorry about what."

"He's sorry, Alvin. Karina must be sorry. I'm sure he's just trying to figure out a way to make up with you."

"Rather than thinking positive things, I believe more negative things."

"Negative thing?"

"Yes, I thought something was wrong. I'm sure it's just Karina's wits." Alvin smiled blandly as he shrugged indifferently.

"But in hindsight this is strange. Carina. He called you again just because you were close to someone he didn't like."

"Really, right?"

"Yes. Then you have to take action." said Dave. "I don't think you should ever see her again. I mean, you stay away from that snake girl" Dave said

Alvin chuckles after hearing Dave's words to Karina.

"That's Dave, it's not a big deal, it's nothing to think about. After all, everything about him is just part of my past."

Dave smiled and nodded his head.
