My beloved Young Miss

My beloved Young Miss
33. Ask Evelyn

Three days had passed since Alvin and Evelyn's meeting on the balcony that night. Alvin never met Evelyn again because she never came to the club again.

And this afternoon, Alvin just finished his final college schedule. He was putting his book in his bag when he heard his cell phone ringing.

Alvin grabs the phone from his jacket pocket and stares at his phone screen. He frowned when he saw an unfamiliar number just sent him a text message. Alvin hesitantly opened and read the contents of the message.

From :+628xx xxxx xxxx

'Hello, this is Evelyn.'

'The girl you met on the balcony of the nightclub three days ago.'

'I hope it's Alvin? Sorry before, I got your number from Mr. Robert last night. I called you because I was a little worried when I saw you who seemed to be very sad at that time. And yes, I just wanted to make sure you were okay.'

After reading the contents of the message, Alvin blinked his eyes. He was still staring at the screen of his phone, reading again the contents of the text message.

Evely?

The girl he met on the balcony of the nightclub?

For God's sake, Alvin's eyes immediately rounded. And look, he's glaring perfectly now. Just imagine! The sender of this message said that she was Evelyn? The beautiful girl who became Alvin's heart? Wow, isn't this crazy. The girl Alvin liked just called him suddenly like this.

In a hurry, Alvin began typing the answer for the sender.

'Hey, you're right! I'm Alvin. Ah, I'm fine!! Very good in fact. And please don't worry!'

With trembling hands, Alvin put his phone on the table. Right now a thousand questions instantly flashed through his mind. He wondered why Evelyn had contacted him and asked about him. And the other thing that made him wonder was why did the girl look like... was being worried?

Suddenly the phone rang again. Oh right, why Alvin's heart even beats faster. Ah this is clearly unnatural. Alvin took it and stared at the screen of his phone.

Wait up!

It's a phone call.

Evelyn.

Panicked, Alvin even throws his cell phone over his college desk. He stared in disbelief at the screen of his phone. But he didn't see it wrong, Evelyn actually called him.

Alvin must be lucky right now because the girl he likes suddenly contacted him without even asking. And after rounding out his resolve Alvin decided to pick up the phone from the girl.

'Now or not at all, ' he thought because sooner or later he did have to answer the call from the girl. Think of it as a norm of politeness.

Alvin took a deep breath, then with his still trembling hand he took his phone again. And after that his index finger which also looks trembling managed to shift the green button on the screen of his phone.

"Hello?"

"Is your college schedule over?"

"That-"

"It's eleven o'clock by noon. Looks like it's college time, right?" ask the girl again across the phone. "I saw some students come out of college."

"Yeah. How can you know?" alvin stuttered. He was alluring to himself inwardly because of his trembling tone of voice right now.

"Because I'm outside your college. Em... Can you come and see me?" evelyn said again.

Alvin's eyes were once again round. Panic instantly surged within his mind and he felt himself to be insane from hearing all these crazy things.

Evelyn in front of the campus?

"Hello, are you still there?" evelyn asked again to throw off Alvin's little daydream.

"I-I'm still here! Yeah, I-I'll be out in a minute. Can you wait for me, miss?" alvin answered nervously.

"Sure." Evelyn replied then disconnected her phone unilaterally, making Alvin frown confused while staring at her phone.

'Why he called me, shocked me half to death and cut off his phone call this one-sidedly.' Inner Alvin.

Not wanting to remain silent any longer, Alvin grabbed his bag from the table and rushed to the parking lot to pick up his bike. During the drive to the parking lot, she wonders to herself what she has done so Evelyn suddenly wants to meet her at this time.

And he realized that there was no way out but to meet the girl now. Alvin was actually nervous about having to meet the girl at this time. But he had also agreed so that he could no longer turn around or cancel their meeting this time, he had already agreed to meet earlier.

After taking his bike in the parking lot. He was riding his motorcycle out of the campus. But arriving at the gate, Alvin turned right and left to look for the whereabouts of the girl but he did not see the presence of Evelyn anywhere. There were only a few students standing by, waiting for an invitation or taxi.

'Where is he.' Inner Alvin.

Maybe Evelyn came home from waiting too long for him. After realizing that he had not found the girl anywhere, Alvin finally returned to the gas and decided to go home alone. He sighed slowly, not knowing why but he felt disappointed because he failed to meet the girl he liked.

Tin..Tin..Tin...!

Alvin was shocked when he heard the horn from the car coming from behind him. He looked over and found a red luxury car slowly following him behind.

The car moved forward next to Alvin, parallel to his motor. And just then Alvin could see the car windshield down and a beautiful girl was looking at him with a sweet smile on her face.

That's Evelyn.

"Hey! Stop first." cried Evelyn out from the window of her car.

Alvin opened the glass of his helmet. "What's the hell is she doing here?"

"Stop it first." cried Evelyn again while busy controlling her car's steering.

Alvin immediately pulled over the motorbike he was driving followed by Evelyn behind him who pulled over his car as well.

After that Alvin immediately took off his helmet and got off his bike. For a while Alvin stared at Evelyn's car from where he was standing at the moment. This girl is really rich. Look at! The car looks so fancy. Alvin probably won't be able to just buy his tires.

Alvin did not answer. He walked over to Evelyn's car.

"What's up, miss?" alvin asked as he bowed, peering through Evelyn's car window.

"Come in first." exclaimed Evelyn again pointing at the door of her car with her chin.

"Get in the car?" Alvin ensure.

Evelyn nodded and shifted to help open her car door for Alvin.

"Come on, get in!" he said just after the door opened. Alvin followed Evelyn's orders and got into the car.

"What's up, miss?" ask Alvin again to the girl.

"You're coming with me for lunch!" whether it's a question, a call or the girl is ruling Alvin right now, Alvin doesn't really understand either.

"Lunch?" Alvin frowning.

Evelyn nodded steadily. "Yes! You'll accompany me to lunch."

"Waiting for lunch?" muttered Alvin increasingly frowned in confusion. "Miss just came here to take me to lunch?"

"Hm." Evelyn again looked casually nodded. "I'm hungry now."

Alvin gawked at his place. Whatisthis? So this is the job of the rich when they get bored? They waste their time like this. Ah, or is Evelyn joking around at the moment?

"Your laptop will be carried by my subordinates later, leave it here." Evelyn said again in the midst of Alvin's confusion.

Wait a minute, so this girl is serious about what she says?

Alvin raised his hand, to stare at the clock on his wrist.

"Didn't the lady work?" ask Alvin

Evelyn shook her head. "I don't have a job. But usually at this time I go home from college and go shopping with my friends." he continued.

"Miss college?"

Evelyn nodded. "of course. Bina Karya University. The final semester."

Alvin.

He knew clearly, the campus was a private campus that was known to be a place for people to study. And it is not a suitable campus for Alvin, because to his knowledge, the cost per semester at the Bina Karya campus is the same as the tuition fee Alvin for four semesters at this campus. Just imagine! For the cost per semester alone is four times the cost per semester at the Alvin(?) campus

"It's lunch hour. I'm hungry and I want to eat. But I want to eat with you. You want to, right?" clearly Evelyn with a pleading expression on her face.

"But-"

"Come, Alvin!" persuade Evelyn.

After thinking for a while, Alvin chose to nod his head in agreement.

"All right, miss! I wanna. What does Miss want to eat?" ask Alvin then.

"Chicken slurry."

"Huh?"

"Your chicken is your subscription" Evelyn said. "It's at the crossroads of this road, right?"

Alvin is back.

How did Evelyn know she had a chicken porridge. Evelyn looked at Alvin's face and laughed as she looked at the surprised expression of the young man.

"What's with your face?" Evelyn was still laughing.

Alvin smiled awkwardly. "How-ever"

"You want to ask me how do I know where you're eating?" cut Evelyn while chuckling amusedly.

"Yes. How did you know?"

Evelyn did not answer. He just smiled meaningfully while his brain recalled the time he paid people to follow Alvin for the past three days.

"Of course I know!" evelyn said then proudly.

"Huh?"

Alvin was more confused to hear the ambiguous answer from Evelyn and made her feel even more curious.

"So do you want to go with me for lunch?" evelyn asked making sure once again impatiently. Actually, he just switched the conversation.

"Yes, I want a lady. I answered it earlier. But my bike I'll take back to the campus first."

"My subordinates will be -"

Alvin shakes. "It's okay. I'll just drop it in the campus parking lot. I can pick it up later after lunch."

"Yes already then. It's up to you." Evelyn shook her shoulders indifferently. "We're back at your college."

Alvin nodded and immediately got off Evelyn's car to pick up the bike. He took her back to campus followed by Evelyn's car behind him. After that, they went to lunch.
