Alvin never felt so lucky in his life. Meeting someone he liked by accident like this was something shocking for him.
Coincidentally. Should it be called that? Ah, naw. Rather than coincidence, Alvin preferred to call it fate.
Evelyn Anderson, the girl Alvin liked was right in front of him. Sitting on the sofa so majestically, she stared at him with a big smile on her face.
Previously, when Alvin delivered an order of drinks owned by customers, he was surprised to see who was in the room turned out to be Evelyn.
At first, Alvin was happy when he saw Evelyn before him. He almost returned the girl's smile. But everything disappeared after his gaze turned to the man sitting near the girl.
For a few seconds, Alvin appeared to be pecking at the doorway, staring at the crossbred young man before him without saying anything.
Evelyn looked at Alvin and the man next to her in turn, then smiled amusedly. He knew clearly what Alvin was thinking right now. He was sure that Alvin must be wondering who the young man in front of him was right now.
"Alvin!" evelyn shouted that immediately made Alvin realize.
Alvin nodded in surprise. "Huh-yes?"
"Drink."
"Huh?"
"You came here to drop off my drinks, didn't you?" Evelyn pointed at the trolley that Alvin was pushing with her chin.
"Yes, miss."
"When are you gonna bring her a drink here?"
Alvin looked down to look at the trolley he was holding, instantly becoming aware of its absurdity. "Ah right, sorry."
"Hurry up and bring it here." Evelyn spoke in a soft tone. "... or do you still intend to stand there?"
Alvin hurriedly stepped forward. Closer to the table in the middle of the room.
"You're okay, right?" Evelyn spoke while looking at Alvin. "I mean, your behavior doesn't look like usual. You sick?"
"I'm fine, miss."
Evelyn hesitated. "Alright, if you're okay."
Alvin was lying. He's not feeling well. Maybe his body was shocked at having to work at the club until morning. As long as he lived he never worked late into the night as he does today.
'Is he sick?' inner Evelyn.
Alvin stood up rather unsteadily. His hands trembled slightly as he placed the drink glass onto the table. The glasses on the table collided with each other with the bottle, falling on the table and making a commotion.
"I'm sorry, I'm sloppy." Alvin stuttered, hurriedly tidying the glasses. It was obvious that he was trying to contain his nervousness.
"No problem." Evelyn retorted, joining in tidying up the messy glasses. "But are you sure you're okay?"
"Yes, I'm fine."
"Really?"
"Truly miss."
Alvin then stood up straight after putting the bottles and glasses on the table. He stepped back with a polite gesture, as when serving his usual guests.
"Good fun, ladies and gentlemen." said Alvin still lowered his head.
"Thank you," Evelyn said with a smile while the man near Evelyn only nodded in doubt.
Alvin looked up at Evelyn then glanced at the bule man who was near Evelyn. Alvin hurriedly lowered his head when he realized that the man was staring at him.
"Then, excuse me, miss" said Alvin bowing slightly and stepping out of the room.
Before closing the door, he looked inside again, staring fixedly at the beautiful girl who was also staring at him.
Alvin tightened the door carefully so as not to cause a commotion. He walked up to the elevator in a giant step.
And while waiting for the elevator to open, Alvin looked dreamy in his position.
"Is that bule man his girlfriend?" muttered Alvin limp when he realized that Evelyn had a lover. But he hurriedly shook his head.
"What I think. What if he has a lover? That's none of my business. I should be working. That's my job here."
As soon as the elevator door opened, Alvin immediately stepped into the elevator to hurry to resume his work.
