My beloved Young Miss

My beloved Young Miss
45. He's Just Too Good

To Ziva, Evelyn was an unusual woman. The girl always did something strange that was beyond her reasoning. Ziva was always surprised by Evelyn.

Ziva and Evelyn are in a restaurant. Evelyn asks Ziva to come quickly to this restaurant because he wants to tell the incident he experienced with Alvin some time ago.

And the result, so surprising. Ziva felt that Evelyn's brain was in trouble.

"You claim to be Alvin's lover right in front of that bitch?" Ziva glares.

Evelyn nodded, assuring.

"Then you also offered to help avenge his ex?"

Once again, Evelyn nodded.

That made Ziva stupefied. His head felt like it had just been hit by something and made it feel so heavy. Instantly he became dizzy.

Evelyn's story also makes Ziva confused and in disbelief. Wasn't the last time Evelyn said she had an idea. So, this is the idea Evelyn had to say?

"But Alvin rejected my offer."

"He refused?"

"Yes, what a pity, right." Evelyn let out a tired sigh while leaning her back on the back of the chair. "I wonder why he should refuse. Well, I think he's just too good to be human."

Ziva grunts. "Obviously he'll turn it down, Eve."

"Huh?"

"Evelyn, just think about it. For a guy like Alvin, it's just a waste of his time." explains Ziva.

"But wouldn't it be nice to get back at the person who hurt you. Yeah, right?"

"That's true, but it doesn't seem to apply to Alvin. I don't think he's the kind of person who laughs in front of other people. He looks like a naive man."

"I agree. That's why I said he was too good. Huft, it's something that sucks from her" Evelyn said as she shook her head in disbelief.

"So, how are you?"

"How's what?"

"I mean, your face looks so disappointed that he turned down your offer."

"Of course I'm disappointed." Evelyn said with a face expression that looked lethargic and irritated at the same time. "You know, when I wish he'd accepted my offer."

Ziva immediately scolded cynically when he saw the look on Evelyn's face which he thought looked very annoying. Since when Evelyn could feel a sense of disappointment at something. Evelyn had not been the type of woman to care about anything.

Ziva immediately screeched cynically when he saw Evelyn's facial expression which he thought somehow looked so annoying. She did not know since when Evelyn could feel a sense of disappointment towards men. Evelyn has never used her heart in a relationship. And as Ziva remembered, Evelyn had always disappointed many men.

Is this girl doing some drama? But Evelyn was not that kind of girl.

"I'm really sorry why she's so good that she has to refuse to give back to her ex-boyfriend."

"Well, right. Too bad." Ziva quipped in a cynical tone.

Evelyn was silent. He raised next to his eyebrows when he saw Ziva's expression and response.

"Wait first. What'sthis?" evelyn said as she brought her face closer to Ziva's face, looking at her best friend flatly.

Ziva looked up and put on a foolish feigned expression. "What?"

"The expression on your face, why is it like that."

"What-like?"

"Your expression is like you're talking to me."

Ziva immediately flicked his finger in front of Evelyn's face. "Yes, there he is. Youre right. I am telling you in my heart. It's good that you know."

"I guessed it."

"You can hear what I'm saying well" Ziva said casually.

"What the hell is it?" Evelyn was still curious. "Is there something wrong with what I'm doing?"

"You're still asking what's wrong?"

"of course. I don't even know which part you're bothered about."

Ziva let out a long sigh while shaking his head, he did not expect Evelyn to be this stupid. Ziva Evelyn is a smart girl.

"All parts." said Ziva. "One of them is offering him revenge. Why would you do such a stupid thing, Eve. You even got Alvin into this silly game of yours."

"Silly game."

"Where is my fault, Ziva?"

"Evelyn, that's clearly wrong. Your actions have gone too far. You're too meddling in other people's business." Ziva is frustrated. He really did not expect that Evelyn was this bad obsessed about Alvin.

"I don't interfere in other people's business. But I'm helping people I like, Ziva. So where's the fault?"

"So now you're admitting you like it? Wasn't the last time you said you were only interested in her. On his lips, right?"

Evelyn remained silent. "I. well, a little."

"A little, you said."

"Em, yeah. Little."

Evelyn's reply instantly made Ziva grieve. He clapped in response to his friend's words.

"Excellent, my friend. You're really amazing." Ziva still clapped his hands, staring at Evelyn cynically.

"What the hell is wrong with you? You seem to want to say that what I'm doing is wrong."

"Yes, it's wrong. I've been saying it since. You're wrong on all sides. Everything you did was wrong. Think Eve, you're just 'a little' like her but you've dared to do something silly like this. Then what if you're really crazy about him later. You could finish off someone else, maybe."

"Do you think so?" Evelyn stared in amazement. "Well, doesn't that mean I'm amazing, yeah."

"Yes my. You're this really." Ziva sighed tiredly while peeking at the base of his nose. Instead of realizing her mistake, Evelyn looked proud.

Evelyn chuckled at the frustrated reaction of her best friend. To Evelyn, Ziva looks very pleasant if he is upset with her.

"This is ridiculous, Eve. Absolutely ridiculous." Ziva's nagging.

"Come Ziva. Why do you look so unhappy that I'm helping her."

"I'm glad you helped her, Eve. I even helped you out at the club, if you forgot."

"Yes, I remember." Evelyn rolled her eyes lazily.

"You're not wrong if you want to help him. But that doesn't mean you should interfere. You even put him in your lies, Eve."

Evelyn took a sip of her drink and sighed lazily. "Yes, I know he lied because of me. But here I just want to defend the truth, Ziva. Alvin. That's why and I hate his ex."

"Defending what truth. This is not defending the truth. But you got Alvin into a deeper abyss. Gorgeous lies. Defending the truth by using lies. Oh gosh. I'm so confused, since when did you become like this."

"Like this, what?"

"So gila, like this."

Evelyn could not help but smile. He looked at Ziva for a moment, then closed his eyes, trying to remember the last time he was like this.

"Since I met Alvin, I guess. I have changed since I met him. I've been doing things without thinking that ever since I met Alvin."

"Well, you're even aware that you're doing something without thinking." Ziva sneered. "Love can make someone crazy."

Evelyn chuckled again,

"Not just love."

"What?"

"Love is not enough. But Alvin changed me. If it were someone else I wouldn't be sure I would do the same. It has to be Alvin. Ah, I was really interested in her even from the beginning of our meeting. And I want her to be mi-"

"You want him to be yours." cut Ziva fast.

Evelyn immediately snapped her laughter. He was silent, his mouth tightly clenched, shocked at how Ziva could know what he was going to say.

"How are you-"

"How do I know, that's what you're trying to say, isn't it?"

Evelyn nodded

"I knew. Because it was clear at the time. It even seems obvious that you were really upset back then just because he didn't recognize you at the nightclub." Ziva said.

"Look more precisely." - Errata Evelyn. "Originally you know Ziva, I've been waiting for this opportunity. A chance to get close to him. And when that opportunity finally comes, where might I be wasted, right?"

"Right, but I don't think you need to meddle in his affairs, too, Eve. You're like a psychopath. Ah, I'm goosebumps."

Evelyn chuckled, "The matter of meddling or not is something else. And obviously my offer still applies to him. And I hope that he'll accept my offer soon."
