My beloved Young Miss
11. New Job

Alvin is standing with a restless feeling in his position. While both of his eyes seemed to focus on looking at the building before him.

Alvin took his breath. Alvin was doubtful about what decision he would make. Should he go to such a place also to find a job.

Job vacancies. It's obvious that Alvin needs him so much right now. And that nightclub job vacancy was one of the golden opportunities for him to get a new job.

But what makes Alvin have to think twice is because it is a nightclub. Alvin never once set foot in a place like this. That's why Alvin is confused, should he apply for a job at this nightclub as well?

All this time, let alone to enter a nightclub like this, just think to come Alvin never.Alvin is a very anti to go to nightlife. And it is also very often makes her ex-lover, Karina felt annoyed at him. The girl even called Alvin too kuper because Alvin always refused to go to the nightclub.

But somehow now Alvin feels he has no choice but to try to apply at this place. And finally after lowering his ego, Alvin decided to try applying for a job at the place.

Alvin finally stepped foot into the luxurious building. He pushed doubt on the glass door and immediately entered the club. The first thing he found upon entering the building was the cold room temperature coming from the burning AC.

Slowly Alvin circulated his gaze, staring at the entire area of the room. While stepping his feet slowly, he continued to stare in admiration at the hall of the room which he thought was very luxurious.

'Surely only rich people can enter into this luxurious place.' Alvin's inner while continuing to look in awe at the entire club building.

"Good afternoon? Can I help you?" said someone in a polite tone.

Alvin turned his head and found a short-haired beautiful woman with a tall body while smiling sweetly at him from the direction of the bartender table.

"Sorry, but our place is not open at this hour. Daytime service is for VIP customers only. Are you a VIP customer?"

"No, I just-"

"I'm sorry sir. Then you can come back again in the afternoon or evening." said the girl.

"Ah, sorry miss, but that-" Alvin scratched his back nape, smiling awkwardly at the pretty girl. "So the door wasn't in the lock so I-"

"No problem" replied the girl.

Alvin slowly moved his legs, trying to get closer to the beautiful girl. "Look, lady, I actually came here because I wanted to ask you something."

"Oh yeah, is there anything I can help you with?" asked the beautiful girl looking at Alvin with a wondering look.

"Eum, that was, I was passing in front and accidentally read information about job vacancies."

"Then?"

"I'm in need of a job right now and would like to try to apply for a job here. Is the job still valid?" alvin asked with an awkward-sounding tone of voice.

The beautiful woman smiled again then she nodded in understanding, "Of course. Some of our employees just stopped a while ago" he replied.

"So, is there still, miss?" Alvin tried to make sure. "I mean, the job vacancy."

"Yes, there's still. It just so happens that our manager is here right now. Then let me take you to the manager's office to ask you more."

Alvin nodded and started to step up to follow the beautiful woman from behind. They walked to an elevator in the right corner of the room. Alvin followed the woman into the elevator. They boarded the elevator to head to the top floor of the club.

Once out of the elevator, Alvin continued to follow the woman, passing through the hallways until finally stopping in front of a door that was at the very end of the hall.

The woman knocked on the door several times until she finally heard the cry "get in" from inside the room. The door finally opened, featuring a large room containing luxury knickknacks.

Alvin stared in amazement at the room. He continued to circulate his gaze until he saw a man who was about fifty years old sitting at his desk, focusing on the computer in front of him and several other notebooks. He must be the manager this beautiful woman meant.

"Sorry, Mr. Robert." exclaimed the beautiful woman to the manager in a polite tone.

"Yes?"

"This young man said he wanted to apply for a job here."

The man called Mr. Robert stopped his activities. He turned to Alvin for a moment and returned to focusing on the computer screen before him.

"Take him here, get closer to me." Mr. Robert ordered the beautiful girl.

Alvin was led to be right in front of Mr. Robert's desk. After that, the beautiful woman left, leaving Alvin alone with the beak man.

A momentary silence.

Alvin finally began to open the conversation first because the middle-aged man did not invite him to talk.

Mr. Robert lifted his gaze to look at Alvin. He stared at Alvin's performance from top to bottom before then speaking.

"Please, you sit down first" said Mr. Robert.

"Good."

Alvin nodded his head then awkwardly pulled the chair before him and immediately sat himself right before the middle-aged man.

But after that the state returned to silence for a while because the middle-aged man looked back at his computer screen. It makes Alvin feel anxious himself but he is still trying to wait.

Shortly after, Alvin gave up all that silence and reopened the conversation.

"Ehm, so look sir, actually I had a chance to see a brochure of job vacancies in front of the gate. I want to ask you, can I"

"How old are you?" ask Mr. Robert suddenly, cut out Alvin's sentence.

"Yes?"

The old man glanced at Alvin as he sighed softly. "How old are you? I mean you look so young. You need to know, work in this place there is an age limit."

"Age limitation?"

"really. Only people who are at least nineteen years of age and above are allowed to work here." explains Mr. Robert.

"I happen to be twenty years old, sir." replied Alvin steadily.

"Twenty?"

Alvin nodded. "true."

The manager looked down at Alvin. He seemed to be in disbelief. Alvin looks more like his seventeen-year-old son than twenty.

"But why does your face look like a seventeen-year-old. You're not lying, are you?" ask the man doubtful.

Alvin looked at himself in confusion then shook his head quickly. "I'm twenty years old, sir. I can show my identity card as proof."

After saying that Alvin took out two of his identity cards. "This is my ID and this is my student card" he explained.

"You're a student?"

"Yes, I'm currently a fourth-semester student at one of the colleges."

Mr. Robert grabbed the two cards and perused them. The old man stared at Alvin and his identity card in turn. He looked back at Alvin for a while before handing the card back to Alvin.

"The remaining job vacancies are the servants. Being a waitress, don't you have a problem with that?"

"Of course not, sir. I'm willing."

"You sure?" asked the manager again in a doubtful tone.

"Can sir, I'm sure one hundred percent." Alvin said enthusiastically while nodding his head. "Honestly, I used to work as a waiter."

"Where's the waiter?" ask the old man.

"At a restaurant, sir."

The old man nodded in understanding. "All right, can I know what your name is? I didn't pay much attention to your name on the identity card earlier."

"Alvin Danu's. But you can just call me Alvin." replied Alvin politely.

The old man nodded his head again, understood. "Alvin, you're welcome here."
