39. Alvin My beloved

That speech was like a sharp stab to Karina. It was certainly very surprising for him even managed to make the two eyes of the girl glare. The girl looked at Evelyn with an expression of disbelief.

"H-huh?" Karina couldn't seem to digest what Evelyn told her, "Did you just say?"

The corner of Evelyn's lips looked curved, forming a sinister smile. He shook his head, a little unexpected with the reaction Karina gave. From this reaction at least can make Evelyn sure that Karina still keeps the taste in Alvin.

'This will be exciting, ' Evelyn's inner self.

Karina who saw Evelyn smiling became annoyed by herself. He offended. Is Evelyn laughing at him?

"You and Alvin, what are you guys? Quickly answer me!" Karina looked impatient

"I'm sure you can hear my words well, Karina. Your ears still serve as they should. Ah, but it doesn't matter. I can repeat my words a thousand times just for you."

Evelyn looked at Karina with a haughty look. He smirked a little and then brought his face closer to Karina's face.

"I told... Alvin is my lover." Evelyn repeated.

The words sounded very clearly into his ears. His mouth seemed to be tightly clenched and did not know what to comment to respond to Evelyn's words. Karina really could only be speechless, frozen in her position.

Alvin and Evelyn are lovers?

Meanwhile, Alvin who was standing behind Evelyn looked much more surprised when he heard Evelyn's sentence. What did Evelyn just say? Who is whose lover?

Alvin stared at Evelyn's back. He approached and held Evelyn's arm.

"Miss, what did you just-"

"Be quiet, Alvin!" cut Evelyn up, raised her hand, her eyes staring at Alvin sharply.

"It was your business before. But now it's my business with him. He questions what my rights are to you, right. So now let me answer the question first."

Evelyn's words even more make Alvin gawk. What the hell does that mean?

"Is that true, Alvin?" ask Karina again to Alvin with a look of disbelief. Alvin looked at Karina.

Evelyn also looked at Karina. Staring at the girl with a raised chin. Evelyn then pulled Alvin closer to her and hugged the young man's arm while his face continued to stare at Karina with a sinister smile.

"Me and Alvin are indeed in a relationship" Evelyn said with great emphasis. "Why do you look so surprised, hm?"

"Can you shut up! I'm not asking you, but Alvin." said Karina in a sharp tone. "I'm not surprised, anyway. I can't even believe you're in a relationship."

Evelyn screeced.

"Oh, Karina, if you don't believe it's any of your business. But I have an obligation to explain everything here."

Evelyn then stepped forward back to bring her face closer to Karina's face making Karina immediately inching back a step.

"Looks good! We've been dating for a few days. And I guess you just insulted my lover right in front of my eyes? So it's clear I have to meddle whatever the problem is."

"I still can't you two be in a relationship?"

"Gee... What's the matter?" the look in Evelyn's eyes let out a shock, but she still replied with a calm tone and expression. "Why don't you seem to accept knowing me and Alvin are dating?"

"Who said I didn't take it?"

"Come on Karina, that's obvious. Ah, are you jealous?"

"Of course not. I mean.I..."

Evelyn chuckles.

"I don't have to explain anything anymore. If you don't believe what I'm saying, you just need to hear it from Alvin's mouth. Yeah, baby..."

Alvin who had been silent for being shocked immediately looked at Evelyn. He looked at Evelyn awkwardly. Don't know if I should say it or not.

Alvin turned to Karina. "I-i..."

"I didn't know you had someone replacing me this fast, Alvin."

Karina looked at Alvin in disbelief. As Karina knows, Alvin hardly ever even hangs out with women. How he quickly found a replacement.

Hearing Karina's words, Evelyn raised her eyebrows and moved forward to Alvin.

"Why really? Can't he find your replacement? Ck, you must have been surprised to learn that Alvin found someone so much better than you, right?"

"Can you shut up? I don't want to hear anything from you. I just want to hear it from Alvin's own mouth." Karina looked at Evelyn sharply.

Evelyn just rolled her eyes lazily. He then elbowed Alvin. "Let's Alvin, tell him clearly what our relationship is."

"Oh," said Alvin. "Ah, i-i...Evelyn and I..."

Alvin looked back at Evelyn who was signaling him to just nod.

"Tell him, Alvin." Evelyn again squinted at Alvin.

Alvin understood clearly Evelyn's intention, the girl must have asked him to come lie. Alvin sighed slowly.

Honestly Alvin wanted to refuse, but Alvin felt that it seemed Evelyn had a plan. There was no other way to avoid Karina right now than to follow Evelyn's plan by lying.

Alvin chose to nod his head. "Yes, right. Everything is true. Me and Evelyn are in a relationship."

Karina was surprised instead of playing after hearing the sentence come out of Alvin's own mouth. Alvin doesn't like to lie, Karina knows that. So that means Evelyn is saying really. Quietly Karina realized her heart was hot, for some reason.

Evelyn herself was satisfied to see the look on Karina's face.

"I think everything's clear, don't you?" evelyn said cynically. "So don't insult my lover anymore or I'll get you to play together in return."

"What do you mean?"

Evelyn smiled then brought her face closer to Karina's ear and whispered.

"I mean, if you dare to hurt Alvin again, then you will continue to deal with me. I'll chase you until you get into the burrow though."

"W-what?"

"I'm willing to be a demon to avenge someone who made my Alvin sad." Evelyn said sharply. After saying that sentence Evelyn then moved backwards.

Karina's eyes rounded wider and wider to hear Evelyn's words to her. His hands were trembling, he felt like a coward. Dead lice. Can't answer anything from Evelyn's words.

Evelyn then grabbed Alvin's hand and held him tightly.

"It looks like our business here is done. Let's go!" take Evelyn to Alvin while pulling the young man's hand.

Karina looked at the two humans who were stepping up leaving her with an indecipherable look.

"How can.." Karina gritted her teeth in annoyance. He feels very angry now.

Alvin, how his ex-lover was able to get into a relationship with the girl. It's a coincidence, isn't it? It just so happens that Alvin is dating a girl who fights him in a nightclub.

Ah, did Evelyn not know that Alvin was her ex-lover and she approached Alvin to get back at him?

Karina shook her head, whatever it was Karina was really feeling annoyed right now. "How can Alvin even be in a relationship with that unlucky girl@n?" muttered.
