41 Ignoring Karina

Alvin opened his wardrobe, watching the contents, looking for what clothes he would wear to go to campus. After thinking for a few seconds, he grabbed the hoodie from his closet.

He took off and threw the wet towel he was wearing on the mattress and immediately put on his clothes. Today Alvin needs to leave early in the morning to do his college assignments that were delayed yesterday.

Actually last night he talked to his friends over the phone. He promised them that he would do it. Alvin felt so guilty about them because yesterday he did not fulfill his promise to come because of the disturbance caused by Karina.

Alvin walked into the bathroom and stepped into the mirror above the sink, just checking the appearance and tidying up the strands of hair. But Alvin's hand slowly stopped, his eyes now focused on his reflection in the mirror image.

"You've been looking pretty messy lately." Alvin was talking to himself.

Alvin smiled cynically after realizing that he had just spoken to himself. Taking a deep breath, Alvin closed his eyes. Alvin secretly recalled the offer that Evelyn had told him some time ago.

To be honest, the offer was something Alvin had never expected before. Moreover, the offer came out of Evelyn's mouth which was her intention to help Alvin. It was a surprise to him. Since last night he can't even sleep because he keeps thinking about it.

Well, actually Alvin had guessed that Evelyn's offer would interfere with his mind like this. For a moment, Alvin seemed hesitant. He looked at his reflection in the mirror before him, eyes filled with curiosity. Not about the offer. But reason. Alvin wondered what the real reason Evelyn was willing to help him.

Alvin admitted for a moment that he was tempted by the offer. Wasn't replying to Karina the thing he had to do? After what Karina did to him, didn't the girl really have to get a reward for the heartache that Alvin felt?

Alvin's brain agrees on all that. Totally agree. Why did his heart refuse? Is Evelyn right. Is he just too good to do such a thing.

Alvin shook his head strongly. Of course he had to forbid himself to do such a thing. He's not a bad guy. I don't know what possessed him so he could approve the evil thought.

Alvin felt that it seemed like his mind had started to stretch everywhere. After all, why should he think about this continuously since then. It is enough to ignore.

It is better for him to empty his mind, forget about this and focus on education alone. Education should be the main and number one thing for him right now. So he had to stop thinking about this ridiculous thing. This kind of thing is useless for Alvin's future.

Alvin was immediately preparing to go to campus. He must not forget that today there are many college assignments so must be prepared early to have a lot of time to work on campus later.

Alvin now takes his motorcycle into the campus parking area that still looks deserted. There were only one or two students in the distance.

After turning off the engine, Alvin set the standard of the motor and went down while removing the helmet from his head. He stepped quickly towards the corridor leading to his lecture hall.

"Hey!" the voice came from the right direction of the corridor, making Alvin flick his steps and turn his head.

Alvin looked at the girl in front of him half in shock, half in surprise.

"Karin."

That's Karina.

In my heart Alvin was astonished. Is he not wrong? Karina stood before him again today and just invited him to speak in a gentle tone. Himself?

"Yes, it's me, Karina." said Karina.

Hear it? Once more. Again the girl spoke so softly. Alvin frowned in wonder. As Alvin recalled, this tone of speech was the one Karina had used when she was trying to get close to her first. What's wrong with this girl. Why did it suddenly change so drastically like this?

Alvin's gaze turned flat in a second. "What's wrong with you?"

"I? Why?" answer Karina.

"Your tone..."

"What's wrong with my tone?"

"You-you"

Alvin hurriedly shook his head. It is not clear that this is the same cycle. At first they accidentally meet, then the girl will make herself mess with rough and bad.

So, instead of having to listen to Karina's obscure rant again, it's better if they don't have anything to do with her either.

"Forget it!" alvin then chose to continue his steps towards his faculty building.

"Alvin, wait!" Karina chased after Alvin and aligned her steps with the young man.

Alvin who was surprised had a glance and chose to walk faster, not wanting to hear anything that would come out of the girl's mouth.

"Alvin I said wait." said Karina finally holding Alvin's right arm.

"Why are you following me?" nagel Alvin

"Wait a minute."

"For what? What else do you want from me?" alvin asked with a clear expression of hate. "What are you insulting now?"

Karina smiled awkwardly looking at Alvin's current annoyed expression. The young man never looked at him with this kind of gaze. And also, his words were extremely sharp as well piercing him.

"I didn't come for such a thing."

Alvin looked at Karina in wonder. "So for what?"

Karina, look back at Alvin. "I just want to talk. No, I actually wanted to ask you something."

"Ask what?"

"This is about the girl from yesterday?"

"Yesterday girl. Who?"Alvin raised his eyebrows, realizing something. "You mean Evelyn?"

Karina nodded. "Yes, he. Can I know what your relationship is with her?"

"Don't you have the answer?"

Karina shook her head, "I heard from the girl's mouth before. But right now, I just want to hear it directly from you. Once more. Answer me, do you really have a relationship with him or not?"

"What's the difference between hearing it directly from me or not?"

"Just to convince myself."

"What?"

"I just want to know if you've really forgotten me, or not."

Alvin turned his face away, smiling cynically. He had no idea why Karina was acting so strangely like this. What's the real purpose?

"You mean, I should waste my time just trying to convince you?" Alvin said with a piercing tone.

"That's not what I mean, Alvin."

"Then what?" alvin Sentak. He's really upset right now. Can Karina just walk away from her life. He was tired of dealing with her.

Alvin sighed before continuing his sentence. "Karina, you know very well that I've not been used to anything like this."

"Like this?"

"Yes, like this, discussing personal matters. I never discussed my relationship with anyone else when we were together, did I?"

"Yes, it's true."

"And now you are someone else to me. So I have a right not to explain anything to you."

"But for this matter, I-I"

"Sorry Karina, it looks like I have to go." Alvin glanced at the clock on his wrist. "I don't have time for this ridiculous thing."

Karina's face paled. This was the first time he felt so overwhelmed. Especially by Alvin. All this time the young man never ignored himself.

"Alvin, wait."

Karina's cry was not at all concerned by Alvin. The young man continued to step away leaving Karina alone in that place. Making Karina clench her palms, annoyed.
