*Area Airport
A brownish-haired girl is now seen stepping casually through the crowd of people passing by in the area of the airport building. His left hand was dragging the suitcase while the other side was playing with a cell phone.
The girl snapped her steps for a moment. He put a cell phone in his ear, called someone. While waiting, his hand moved to remove his sunglasses perched on the base of his nose and then put them in his jacket pocket.
After not long waiting, the call finally connected.
"Hello! Yes, uncle, it's me Evelyn." said the girl.
"Uncle, I've arrived at the airport. I'll be out in a minute. Uncle was waiting for me in front." Evelyn said then disconnected the phone call and continued her steps.
Evelyn Anderson, the woman's name. A beautiful twenty-one-year-old girl with an oriental face type. And just arrived in Indonesia a few minutes ago after spending some time abroad.
He is the only son of one of the most influential conglomerates in the country. Maybe someone will ask why the son of a conglomerate like Evelyn can go anywhere alone. Did his parents let him live freely without disturbing privacy?
In fact, no one knows who he is but a few interested people, his friends and himself. That was Evelyn's own request. Since he was fourteen years old he had dared to ask his father to keep his privacy and refused to be highlighted by the camera journalists. As a result, like now he can go anywhere freely.
"Good afternoon, miss." greet Evelyn's private driver after the girl gets into the car.
Evelyn dropped into the car seat and threw her bag into the seat next to her and looked at the driver. "So late, uncle."
"How was the holiday, miss? Is it exciting in Bali?"
Evelyn screeched, "Lumayan."
"Lumayan fun?"
"Lumayan gave me a headache" Evelyn said, making the driver chuckle.
To be honest, talking casually like this was a very common thing for them. Evelyn is close to people who work for her family because they have worked for the Evelyn family even since Evelyn was a child.
"We're going to an ordinary hotel, uncle." Evelyn said
"Well miss."
Evelyn decided not to go straight to her house, but to the hotel. He prefers the nearest hotel because he wants to quickly rest after taking long hours of air travel from Korea.
"Miss sure you want to go to the hotel?" ask the driver without looking back.
"Yes uncle" Evelyn said, leaning her back against the seat.
"I mean, don't you usually choose to go straight home first."
"Well miss."
"It's okay, uncle. Today I was a little lazy to wait until home. The distance to the house was still too far away and I wanted to rest faster." Evelyn replied visibly staring at her phone screen, busy doing something with it.
"Alright, Miss." said the driver, choosing to obey. "Does she want us to leave now?"
"Yes, uncle. All my stuff is in the trunk, right?"
"Yes, miss. Last time I picked up a small suitcase."
"After delivering me, uncle just bring all my belongings home later. I don't want to bother taking him to the hotel later. But don't get it straight. Because I'll take care of my own things later."
"Ready miss. I'll tell the waiter for that. And once I get home to take her to the lady's room first."
"alright. We can walk now."
"All right, miss."
"But can uncle not drive his car too slow, well actually I'm a little bit now. I want a quick break."
The driver started the engine and drove the car out of the airport area, down the highway to the hotel that Evelyn was referring to.
"You can rest first, miss." said the driver after a while they traveled.
"No problem uncle, I'll all sleep in the hotel later. The hotel is also very close, only fifteen minutes from the airport."
"All right, miss."
While on the way, Evelyn seemed to be sending a short message with her friend. As soon as she finished, Evelyn put down her phone and sighed slowly. He glanced out the car window. Watching the other cars driving past his car. The drizzle began to descend, slowly starting to make the glass covered with water, blurring Evelyn's view out of the car.
'I went to Korea to please my heart. But I'm bored instead. Nothing pleases at all.' her inner.
This isn't the first time Evelyn has been to Korea. But somehow the holiday this time feels different from the previous holidays. This holiday was no fun for Evelyn.
He has lost the desire to have fun. Evelyn had thought maybe she needed a new atmosphere. Move to a place that makes her more comfortable or meet new people who will make her happy.
His father always released Evelyn if he wanted to go anywhere. There was never a single ban on him if he wanted to be independent. Even when Evelyn High School lived in a different house with her father.
That's why Evelyn grew up to be an independent girl. And after her mother died, Evelyn decided to return home while her father chose to travel on business more often to forget the sadness of her mother's departure.
Thinking of this made Evelyn instantly remember about her father. Isn't this her dad said he'd be home in these weeks.
Evelyn then turned back to her personal driver who seemed to be focusing on driving.
"Did my father come home from Singapore, Uncle?" evelyn asked the driver.
"Yes, Miss. The great sir came two days ago, at night, but he's gone again."
"Go again, when?"
"So morning, Miss."
"He wasn't waiting for me?"
"Looks like you're in a hurry, miss. You see very early in the morning the Great Lord had woken up and asked the waiter to pack up all his needs."
Evelyn nodded in understanding. "so apparently. Did my dad say where he was going this time?"
"Rememember I the Great Lord said I was going to America, Miss."
"America?"
"Yes, miss."
"I can't reach him when I get to the airport. He must have been on the plane. I haven't even met him yet but he's gone again."
"She apologized for not being able to see you. But you had to leave a message that the business trip this time will be very long and may be able to go home after three months."
"Jeez." Evelyn was tired. "Father is really looking for a way to forget the sadness of my mother's departure."
"Truly miss."
The driver seemed to put on a sad look.
"Oh yes Miss, the Great Lord said that she could catch up with him to America later. Because three months is not a short time to live. You don't want the lady to feel lonely because you prefer her job."
"Yes, I'll catch up with him later if you get a college break."
