2. Bitter Reality

Hearing the shocking confession of the burly man just made Alvin's eyes more rounded.

"You said Karina was your girlfriend?" alvin asked with a look of disbelief. "Don't talk nonsense! That's obviously impossible because Karina is my girlfriend, then how can she be your boyfriend?"

The athletic man chuckled at the silly question that had just come out of Alvin's mouth.

"I'm suspicious, you don't know that Karina's been cheating on you, right?" said cynical.

Hearing that both of Alvin's eyes immediately turned to Karina, staring in shock at the lover. "Karina! What did he just say? You, you've been cheating on me?"

"Why is that?" Karina folded her hands in front of her chest and raised her eyebrows, looking at Alvin cynically.

Karina then sighed. "All right, let me make it clear everything's here. He's Steve! Fifth grader, he's our senior on campus and he's studying in the same department as me. And yes! I have chosen to cheat on you, why? You don't take it?"

"Karina! What are you saying?" Alvin said with a witty. "Why are you cheating on me?"

The athletic man named Steve laughed crisply, shaking his head at the behavior of this young man before him.

"Dear Karina, did you hear what kind of silly question just came out of this skinny young man's mouth?" steve said with a mocking smile.

Karina nodded in agreement, smiled at the man then looked at Alvin coldly. "I heard it clearly, Steve. And didn't I tell you that he's so stupid!"

Alvin moved to get closer to Karina but his steps stopped when he saw the girl suddenly embrace the arms of the man named Steve.

"We've been dating for two months!" said Karina put on a haughty look.

"What is this, Karina? So all this is true?" Alvin looked at Karina with teary eyes.

Seeing all the behavior of Karina at this time made her heart feel very sore. Even his heart felt pierced with something so sharp that he felt unmatched pain after hearing the words of the girl who had just invited him to break up.

Steve grieving. "Geez, what kind of stupid question did this young man just ask us, baby?"

Steve looked at Karina for a while then turned to Alvin, looking at the handsome yet foolish young man before him with a mocking smile.

"Don't listen to him, Steve! You know, because of his stupid nature that's why I'm so uncomfortable having a relationship with him. And I really don't want to have any more relationship with her now."

"Isn't he smart on campus?" ask the man to Karina. "He's famous for his intelligence?"

"Yes, for education he is smart. But as for matters of the heart, he is indeed very stupid." Karina then sighed softly. "You know what, honey? All this time I've been dating a kid! He's really like a kid." Karina whined at the sturdy man.

"You're right, baby!" Steve glanced at Alvin lazily.

"On campus he often gets the nickname smart student. But I didn't expect that in this world I would meet this stupid guy for this kind of relationship problem. But now I understand why you wanted to leave her so badly." continued Steve.

"Silence!" alvin snarled loudly.

Alvin clenched both his hands tightly. He felt very upset because he continued to be called stupid many times like that.

"I'm not stupid!" alvin was upset.

Steve grinned.

"Wow! Look at this, he dared to yell at me!" Steve looked at Alvin with a sharp look. "You dare me, huh?"

Steve's jaw hardened, "This boy is pretty brave apparently."

"I'm not afraid of you!" alvin said with a tone pressed. Alvin then moves forward and tries to hit Steve, but his movements stop as Steve nimbly restrains his fist.

"Don't challenge me, boy!" steve then threw Alvin's hand. "You can't even hit it right!"

Steve then moved forward and pushed Alvin's body until the young man's thin body immediately fell to the ground.

"Curtain, what the hell is this?" Steve looked down at Alvin who had fallen to the ground. "A weak young man like you wants to hit me? It's funny." ledek Steve after successfully paralyzing Alvin in a way that for him is very easy.

Alvin looked very upset at the young man before him especially because of all the taunts Steve had directed at him. Alvin hated himself who was currently completely helpless and unable to fight the muscular man.

After that Steve immediately turned to Karina who was now staring at Alvin who was lying on the ground, in front of him. The girl didn't even seem to care about what happened.

"Karina, did you see what happened just now? This stupid young man is so funny. He was unconscious with that thin and weak body of his. And even dare to play around with me!"

Karina grieves cynically. "That's not funny Steve, but it's disgusting!"

Steve turned his head back to Alvin who was still in a position lying on the ground. "You hear that, you idiot? Karina said that you're disgusting!" Steve Ledek.

"Had Karina always intended to leave you and prefer me as her new boyfriend, you're too weak for a man's size" Steve said. "I'm sure no woman will ever want to be your lover again. Karina was sorry that she was with you at the time, wasn't she, baby?" 

"Yes baby! He was popular on campus as the most handsome and clever man, but I regretted after realizing how stupid he was. He is also very poor." Karina said with a stale face.

"Karina, but we're-"

"Listen Alvin! I chose Steve because he's a lot more mature than you. Who would reject a man like Steve? He can give me anything you can't even give."

Alvin's body was shaking violently. He has been trying to hold back his emotions. He hit the ground nearby, trying to channel the emotions he was feeling. "Karina, why are you doing this to me? What's my fault with you?"

Karina did not reply, she just rolled her eyes lazily. Karina then pulls Steve's hand to take him away from the place.

"Steve, let's get out of here. I'm sure, soon this stupid guy will definitely make a sad drama here and will make us both embarrassed." Karina continues to graze Steve's arm towards the man's car. "So soon she'll cry, because she's so crybaby."

Steve nodded and just shook his shoulders indifferently. It casually follows the attractions of Karina. "All right, baby! I'm up to you anyway."

The two lovebirds finally stepped away to Steve's car which was parked near them.

"Wait Karina!" yelled Alvin, but was not ignored by the girl at all.

Alvin suddenly rose from his tumble position and immediately chased after Karina who had now entered Steve's car. Alvin did not care and banged on the glass of the car that was riding Karina.

"Karina, wait! Don't leave me. I don't want to break up with you, I really love you!" shout Alvin. "Karina! Listen to me first!"

But the car continued to move leaving Alvin until it finally disappeared at the end of the corner of the road. Seeing Karina's departure, Alvin could no longer hold back his emotions until his tears broke.

"What's wrong with me, Karina?" alvin said to himself with tears already melted in his cheeks.
