My Beloved Cowboy's

My Beloved Cowboy's
Chapter 9. Hey Jude

The dinner was smooth and very pleasant, everyone who was present there was happy and Rani and her grandmother were no exception. Only one felt lacking, King wasn't there.

The farm workers sat together around the campfire they made, while playing some musical instruments. Guitar plucked, harmonica blown. Country music was heard soon.

Reynard Hart son of Tessa immediately came and met Rani, as soon as he heard the news of his arrival at the place. Grandma peeked out from behind the door, smiled and winked at him.

Rani rolled her eyeballs, caught off guard by her grandmother who seemed to have deliberately let Rey get close to her. The mothers there were no less excited, deliberately seduced him and set him up with the man.

“You should hear the words mothers there.” Rey pointed her index finger back with a witty face, her body leaning against the wall.

“They're just kidding, don't take heart.” Rani looks out of the house, hoping to see the handsome face of the man who had been planning to marry her. Recalling that, Rani subconsciously smiled to herself.

“You see, I'm young and handsome too well established. I know how to please a woman without making it a problem.” Rey widened her arms, looking straight at Rani with smiling lips and full of confidence.

“Looks like you're also a good-natured person.” Rani added and responded casually, squinting the eye back to observe.

The man in front of him did look handsome, his body was tall with a charming smile and suddenly reminded him of someone. There are many women who wish they were her lovers. His eyebrows are thick, his nose is pointed, and Rey has a pair of sharp eyes. Unfortunately, Rani is not interested!

“That's right, I'm indeed kind.” Rey smiled widely, showing off her white, neatly arranged rows of teeth.

Rani frowned, taking a quick glance at Rey. Not expecting, the man even praised himself.

“There are many beautiful places I want to show you, so how about tonight this Sunday we go for a walk?” say Rey again.

“Hah?” Instead of being happy, Rani was surprised by the sudden offer. He was dumbstruck and snarled to answer if only his grandmother did not immediately call him in.

“Rani, there's a call for you!” call her grandmother while holding her phone up in the air.

“Rani, how about my offer earlier?” rey asked again, he blocked Rani's steps when the woman rushed to go to her grandmother.

Rani looks up at Rey, trying to display her smile and be as reasonable as possible to her. “You are indeed a good man, good at pleasing women. But I guess, it's not a good idea for me.”

“Why? Are you uncomfortable people are gonna talk about you, you're a single woman and I'm the same. No one will be disturbed when you walk with me.” The sweet smile on Rey's face disappeared, changing with a wry smile.

“I know, but still I can't accept your offer. I don't need to explain the reason to you and I hope you can appreciate my decision,” said Rani firmly, she must end this conversation and immediately meet her grandmother. “Sorry, I have to see my grandmother.”

Rey flinching, he just fell silent even as Rani passed him. Not expecting to accept rejection from the woman, is she too confident to think all women will gladly accept her invitation.

Rani sighed, before receiving a call from her mother and then sticking the flat object in her ear. “Yes, Mom. Rani's fine, at home. Grandma made me a party and cooked a lot of food for us.”

If Rani thinks Rey will leave after getting a rejection from her, Rani is wrong. Rey is still there and faithfully follows her. Help him bring food and drinks to the table.

Rani could do nothing, and left the man with her wishes. Better he disappear from there, after all the party is also finished.

Rani sits alone on the corner of her grandmother's porch, single-handedly enjoying her hot chocolate drink. Only one light was left on there, and Rani deliberately chose the place to avoid the target of Rey who had continued to follow her since this afternoon.

“Hem, this is better.” Rani sipped her hot chocolate, smiling lightly as she fixed the blanket on her feet.

The air in the place was getting colder at night, Rani chose to replace the dress she was wearing earlier this afternoon with a thick sweater that closed up to her neck. His long hair was left untouched. The mischievous wind played on her strands of hair, and Rani let it go.

The moonlight illuminated the courtyard of the farmhouse, its silvery light hitting the surrounding objects. The music is still playing, this time more excited.

Rani smiles listening, until she feels something different is present in the place. Rani set her eyes on a man sitting on a round wood with a guitar in hand, looking at him closely. As if realizing that he was being noticed the man looked at him. The views of the two meet.

“King?” rani said not believing her vision, glaring at the smiling figure of King towards her.

The man comes, Rani wants to pinch herself to make sure that she is not dreaming. King waved at him before he strummed the guitar and started singing.

Hey Jude, don’t make it bad. Take a sad song and make it better. Remember to let her into your heart. Then you can start to make it better.

(Hey Jude, don't make things worse, sing a sad song and make things right. Remember to let it into your heart. Then you can start making it better).

Hey Jude, don’t be afraid. You were made to go out and get her. The minute you let her under you skin. Then you begin to make it better.

(Hey Jude, don't be afraid. You were created to chase and get it. You hold her for a second, and then you start making her better).

And anytime you feel the pain, hey Jude, refrain. Don’t carry the world upon your shoulders. For well you know that it’s a fool who plays it cool. Making his world a little folder.

(And whenever you feel the pain, hey Jude, hold on. Don't carry the world on your shoulders. Because you know that's a pretty cool fool. Making the world a little cooler).

Hey Jude, don’t let me down. You have found her, now go and get her. Remember to let her into your heart. Then you can start to make it better.

(Hey Jude, don't disappoint me. You've found him, now go after him and get him. Remember to let him into your heart. Then you can start making it better).

Well well nah nah nah.
