Rani stood watching by the roadside, while covering her face with her palm. It seemed like this charade would become even more interesting if he participated in it in total.
Of course Rani would gladly do so if she didn't see for herself how the hurt look on Kyla's face was. Pity, let it be how it is also a woman and know what it is like to part with the man we love.
The woman cried like a child who had just lost her favorite toy, and it infuriated King.
“You who betrayed me and you also left me for the sake of that man, then why now do you come and say your regrets. Has that man left you? Do you think the way you cry like this I'll accept you again?” cecar King in a high voice.
Rani flinched, putting her eyes and ears together. He realizes what really happened in King and Kyla's relationship.
“King, I'm sorry. I'm sorry I left you, Jeff left with another woman. He just left me, told me I was too tight and wanted too much. She said bad things about me,” Kyla replied, cupping King's hand and sticking it on her chest.
King tries to pull her hand, but Kyla insists on holding her back. If the King pulls her stronger, Rani is sure the woman will fall bouncing and roll on the steps below them.
“Stop Kyla, I already have a lover and will soon marry her!” sentak King's.
“You lied!” kyla shouted furiously, and it caught the attention of those around them who were looking. Kyla turned her head and looked at Rani cynically, as if King would not willingly turn away from her and choose another woman besides her.
Rani who felt noticed, stared back. If Kyla thinks Rani is going to back down in the face of her anger, she's wrong. He did not know him well, Rani stood up defiantly ready to fight. Betrayal is the thing he hates most right now. His eyes glittered in remembrance of that.
Due to the betrayal of her former fiance, her marriage plans fall apart. And now, in front of his eyes he saw and heard it happen again. Of course his heart was moved to teach the traitor love a lesson, a nickname worthy of being given to people like Andre and Kyla.
King smiled at her, Kyla had already let go of her hand so that nothing would stop the man from moving again. He walked up to Rani and grabbed her hand.
“I ask you one more time, do you want to marry me Miss Empress Princess?”
Rani does not need to ask for the approval of the surrounding people to answer the questions King throws at her, nor does she need to see the expressions of curiosity of the people for King's answer to her.
At the moment he just wants to follow the rhythm of the game that King did, and make the theatrics they do more interesting and convincing. That's all Rani wants right now. “With all my heart, of course I am willing to marry you.”
Rani's firm and straightforward answer left Kyla dumbfounded. There was no long sound of cheers around them. Some even whistled and teased the two of them.
“Finally, I'm relieved to hear it.” King stared friendly Rani, “We both agreed on this.”
Without warning, King kissed Rani. Touching his lips at a glance at the woman's lips. Rani gaped at her making, what the King did surprised her. “What are you doing, King?”
“I need to convince them one thing over our relationship, small show will make them believe in us.” King whispered softly.
“Is this one of your ways to drive your ex-lover away from your life?” Rani held tightly to King's arm, her body as if unsteady. What the man did made him lose his balance.
King smiled, he kissed Rani again. This time it was longer and more friendly. Rani draped her arm around King's neck. It wasn't her first kiss, but it was so intoxicating. His body was unable to resist, and instead accepted the King resignedly.
Rani is unable to say anything, nor is she able to do anything. Only his pupils moved wide, and his trembling body showed that he was affected by what King had done to him.
“K-king,” said Rani nervously, her lips quivering calling the man's name. For a moment he forgot his heartache, forgot someone who had once stopped in his heart.
King smiled, the tip of his fingers touching Rani's swollen lips. Those eyes implied regret as well as a keen sense of pride. “Now they believe in our relationship.”
Omg!
Rani heard King's words. Not a day he was in this place, he had not even met his grandmother but a lot of amazing things happened. The man named King had even managed to steal a kiss from him.
One by one the people left them both, Kyla was not even seen there. The woman left with a heart of annoyance because she could not reach King's heart anymore, what she saw just now was enough as proof that the man no longer loved her.
King leads Rani to the car, along the way the woman is more silent. Seemed to dissolve in his own mind. Only occasionally did he answer King's questions to him, the rest he stared beside the window at the surrounding scenery.
“Do you want to stop there for a while?” King pulled his car over on the side of the road, asking Rani while pointing towards a shop that sold a lot of snacks. “I'll drop you there for a while, while I'm filling up this car.”
Rani looked towards the shop that King pointed at, she shook her head quickly. “I come with you, besides my bag is no longer filled with snacks.”
King smiled hearing that, “Alright then.”
King placed his hand on the seatback behind Rani's neck. He turned his body and looked back while continuing to turn the steering wheel of his car in a flexible style. “Oke, we're retreating now.”
Rani smiled and folded her arms around her chest, what King has done so often. Typical of men to attract the attention of his girlfriend when driving a car.
A few moments later the car drove up the road uphill and stopped on a large plain where there was a lot of grass around it. An incredible view of nature lay before him.
“We have arrived, welcome home Rani. Welcome to Maggie O’Neil's farm" King said as they arrived at their destination.
Rani is strangled happily, seeing the beauty of nature before her. He got out of the car and ran to his grandmother's house. "Grandma, Rani's coming!"
The door opened wide, a middle-aged woman spread her arms wide welcoming the presence of her beloved granddaughter. "Kim!"
The two hugged each other because they had not met for so long. King took down Rani's suitcase and placed it on the doorstep, momentarily staring at the woman's back before leaving the farmhouse.
There are things to do, but tonight they will meet again. The workers had already been asked to stay longer at Maggie's house, as there was a small party to welcome her granddaughter.
