My Beloved Cowboy's

My Beloved Cowboy's
Chapter 3. Kingstone Hardy's

Yola and Wilda were supposed to stay at her house that night, but suddenly had to go home. Little Leo cried loudly because his dinosaur doll was left at home.

While Yola had to prepare for the departure of her husband out of town early in the morning, after getting an impromptu call from her superior.

The house that was crowded was suddenly quiet, only Rani and mama lived. Their housekeeping assistant had already gone home, having only worked until the afternoon.

“Rani to room first yes, Ma. Want to rest,” said Rani was about to move to her room.

“Eits, first. Accompany Mama for a moment, Mama wants to call your grandmother now.” Mama held Rani's arm, forcing her daughter to stay seated next to her.

“It's been night, Ma. Poor grandma, tomorrow morning only.”

“In the place where grandma is still eight o'clock at night, your grandmother is still not sleeping.”

Rani according, though with pouting lips. He sat down and folded his legs, then stretched his back to the back of the sofa.

“Halo.”

A smile expands on your face when you hear the word from across the phone. “Goodnight Grandma my beautiful and kind children.”

Mama chuckles later. Rani smiles at her mother when she greets her grandmother.

At first the two exchanged news, in the middle of the conversation was heard grievances of his grandmother. And it caught Rani's attention, she heard the sadness of her grandmother's tone of voice.

“I need someone who can help us organize the bookkeeping, and I haven't got it until now. I also need extra power to help King on the farm.”

“What about Gaby, isn't she the one who helped organize your bookkeeping there. Nice work. Last time I met him, cowboys loved him and loved working with him.”

Mama accidentally activated her phone speaker so Rani could hear it. Rani who was sitting next to him looked seriously listening.

“King drove them away, and Gaby ran away scared!”

“What exactly happened?”

“They tease Gaby in front of King, one of the workers caresses Gaby's hip very brashly and forcefully kisses the woman.”

Rani rounded her lips and cleared her throat, she could understand King's anger.

“King was angry, he knocked down the worker with his fist and threatened him with a shovel around his neck. Gaby was terrified, he immediately asked to stop work and King immediately fired the worker.”

Her grandmother's story makes Rani think hard, remembering her love story that ran aground. “Should I have done the same to Andre, taught him a lesson and kicked him out with his woman with a shovel around the neck!”

“Sorry, I shouldn't have told you about my problems. But, I really need someone who can help me here.”

Mama glanced at Rani, her attention split hearing another voice next to her. The frown on his forehead deepened to see the behavior of his daughter who was acting like a person fighting, swinging her hand in any direction.

“Rani?!”

Rani nodded, smiled and sat back down sweetly.

“Helen, do you still hear me. Who were you talking to?”

“Ekhem!” mama cleared her throat, coded Rani to answer her grandmother's question.

“Grandma, how are you? It's Rani, mom's youngest daughter Helen.” Rani turns off the loudspeaker and brings her phone closer to her ear.

“Good, Grandma. They are all good, only Rani who is not good.” Rani put on the face of the nelangsa even though she knew her grandmother would not be able to see it, and mama just shook her head to see the behavior of her youngest daughter.

“What Grandma invited me to the farm?” Rani straightened her back, her voice sounding serious. It provoked the curiosity of the mother who sat next to him, watching his behavior.

“I can help Grandma in terms of bookkeeping, when will Grandma come here?”

Mama is getting curious, he docked and put his ears well.

“Hem, okay. Let me go there myself. Grandma must ensure my safety there from the man named King, lest he put his shovel around my neck.”

Hearing that, the mother immediately pulled herself up and stared intently at Rani who was still not finished talking to her grandmother.

“Hahaha, okay Grandma. Bye, Rani darling Granny.” Rani ends her phone and puts her phone back on the table.

Plaque!

“Jeez, Mama?” Rani is shocked, mama claps her arm and glares at him.

“You said anything earlier, why the speaker was turned off. Mama can't hear your grandma say what?”

“Grandmother invited Rani to the farm, all filling the holidays and helping bookkeeping there.”

“And you agree?”

“Iya, Rani agrees. Deer Rani departs!”

“Mama will ask aunt Imas to stay in this house while you go,” Mama reply, and it makes Rani relieved because there is someone accompanying her mother as long as she is not home.

That night Rani called her boss and asked for her leave submission to be forwarded. Without asking much, his boss immediately agreed.

As one of the workers who has a fairly important position in his office, Rani has a team of people who can help replace her job. He had one full day to finish all the rest of his work.

Mama helps her pack up, and takes Rani to the airport. Mama hugged him tightly and told him, “Take care of yourself, keep your honor as a woman because it's our only most precious possession.”

Two hours into the air, Rani sets her foot back in the hometown of her late father. Like his grandmother's message, in front of him was already someone who would pick him up.

Rani covered her face as she exited the airport door, the heat immediately stinging her skin. He walked to the open-top car that was going to pick him up.

His hand was in trouble dragging his suitcase, the high heels he wore hindered his movement. Rani dyed while matching the writing on her phone screen.

“Looks it was his car.” Rani smiled with relief, waiting for a moment until someone got out of the car and came over to her.

Rani was fixated for a while, staring at the man walking across towards her.

The man was tall, slender and dashing. He wore a black cowboy hat and a Western coat overlaid the navy plain shirt he wore. Tight jeans wrapped around her long legs. He walked arrogantly and stopped in front of Rani.

“Nona Empress Princess?” The man took down his cowboy hat and put it in front of his chest, as his eyes looked at the woman before him.

The eyes were sharp and as if pierced through the skin of his body, the color was bluish. But that was not what made Rani difficult to breathe, those eyes of light looked cold and the handsome face before her was flat and without a smile.

Rani imposes a smile and extends her hand. “iy-ya, I am Princess Empress. Just call Rani.”

The man shakes Rani's hand and takes it off quickly, and Rani realizes that. “Halo Rani, I'm Kingstone Hardy. Just call King.”
