Chapters 2. Ma, Rescue Me

“Ran, instead of Lo has been on leave for the wedding event Lo and has been approved by the same office?” asked Maya while sipping her drink.

Rani nodded, “Two Weeks, and I didn't know what to do during that time. While the wedding plan that has been neatly arranged, must be canceled just like that.”

Rani pushes her meat bowl still full, her appetite evaporating out of nowhere. “Gue so want to say, go far to a place where there is no one who knows I there.”

“No no no!" Maya moves her index finger in front of Rani.

"Well what should you do, May? My fiance is cheating, and my wedding plans are falling apart!" rani gusar.

"Evoiding is not the way to solve a problem, Ran. You have to talk to Mama and also the prospective in-law Lo. Let you not be married, but it would be nice friendly relations between your families remain intertwined.”

"I'm sure they must have heard everything from Andre why we broke up."

“Gue only gives advice, but all the decisions are in Lo's hands. There must be some wisdom behind this. And I believe, God has a more beautiful plan for life Lo later.” Maya tries to give her best friend some encouragement.

Along with his words, Rani's phone rang. Those beautiful eyes blinked, looking at Maya for a moment and then turned to look at the flat object in her hand that displayed her mother's name. “Mama phone!”

“Ya already, lift!”

Rani cleared her throat for a moment, “Ya, Ma.”

Rani keeps the phone away from her ear, while tilting her face. Maya smiles at him, she can guess what her mother is talking about. He continued his delayed eating.

A second later Rani's face changed, she hung up the phone and grabbed her bag and ran to her car.

“What's up, Ran?” Maya runs after Rani.

Rani turns on her car engine, looking briefly at Maya before driving forward. “Gue should get home as soon as possible before the male breng sek is talking too much to mama!”

“Andre come to home, Lo?”

“Iya!” shout Rani.

Maya shakes her head, “Drama drama,” murmured slowly.

Rani drove her vehicle at moderate speed, while glancing left and right hoping that the traffic jam in front of her would soon unravel and the road back smoothly.

His lips kept on pouting, chanting prayers so that mama would not easily believe the words and compassionate face that Andre showed her.

Rani until two hours later, stumbled into her house. Looking at the empty courtyard, there was only one white car and it belonged to the eldest Wilda in the family. That means Andre's gone from his house.

Mama sits sweetly flanked by her two sisters on the sofa of the living room, while her husbands and their children prefer to sit at the dinner table while enjoying a snack.

There was an empty chair next to them. It seemed like the chair was for him, and right now they were indeed waiting for his arrival.

“Andre came and begged us to persuade you to continue with your wedding plans,” said Yola, her second sister spoke up.

“He confessed to the caliph and already apologized to us,” timpal Wilda.

Mama looked at him sharply. Both of his sisters then rubbed their hands and backs soothing mama, while glaring at him.

“Now, tell me everything.” Mama's calm voice made Rani worried, she moved uneasily in her chair.

Rani looked at the faces before her. Both of her sisters have a happy household, husbands who adore and love them as well as cute and adorable children.

It's a shame to have to admit to them that he is cheated on by his fiancee with his own best friend, who claims to love only himself. But Rani knew, she had no other choice. He must face reality and move on with his life.

Rani told me everything, and she listened while sipping tea in her hand without interrupting.

“That's how it actually happened, I decided to end our relationship and return the engagement ring to her.” Rani ends her story while revealing her empty ring finger. It felt so good after doing it.

“What a woman is so beautiful and voluptuous that the man of breng sek was tempted to her ..” Wilda raised her hand and moved her two index fingers. “Then betrayed you?” continue then.

Rani's gaze fell to the floor, her thumb twitchingly painting the large circles and making a dot in the center. “Bust size 36 B!”

“Uhuk!” Mama chokes and spills her tea, the faces of her two brothers turn red and Rani just shrugs her shoulders.

“I'm answering your questions, and I'm talking as is. Beautiful indeed makeup, she became the target of many men.”

“And you let that woman snatch your future husband!” blow mama, her eyes glittering sharply.

“What kind of man is worth keeping?” reply Rani with a bitter smile.

Rani's heartache when remembering the incident this afternoon. If he had not gone to see the man at work, Rani would have never known Andre's betrayal behind him.

Two years into a relationship, and Rani is so happy when Andre proposes to her. But two months before their wedding day, the man betrayed her.

“Actually you are beautiful, but you yourself make yourself look gloomy and unattractive. Look at your looks, boring!” cela Wilda while observing the appearance of Rani, “The clothes you wear are always the same model, and you are too busy working.”

Rani does not dispute Yola's remarks, she rarely indulges herself in salons or other body treatments. He is very busy and spends more time at work.

“I agree!” said Wilda approved of Yola's idea.

“Mama has also kicked him out of here, and banned him from coming to this house again.” Firm mom.

Inevitably Rani laughed at the words of mama, and mama frowned. “Why are you laughing?”

Rani sighed before answering my mother's question. “Rani relieved, Ma. At least Rani does not have to bother anymore thinking about how to buy a wedding dress.”

“Are you okay?”

Mom's question shook Rani's self-defense, it felt like she wanted to cry again.

Rani sloshed her body and crawled closer to the seat of mama. He put his head on my lap, and the dear woman rubbed his head gently. “Mama, please rescue Me.”

“Mama understands how you feel right now. Looks like you need a place to get away from here, so you can think more calmly and forget all these unpleasant events.”

“You have two weeks off, why don't you use it for a vacation.” Wilda reminded.

“You can come to oma farm in village. Isn't it soon time to collect livestock there, there will be many people you can meet there later. Oma must be very busy and she needs people to help her,” interrupted Yola with her brilliant idea that made Rani become excited all of a sudden. It seems like the idea of vacationing on an oma farm is not a bad idea.

“Mama will call oma, and ask if she needs an assistant to help her on the farm next month.”
