My Beloved Cowboy's

My Beloved Cowboy's
Chapters 14. Rani's Promise

King came out of the bathroom rubbing his half-wet head of hair with a towel that Rani had prepared for him. He looks fresh and fragrant, the combination of the aroma of soap and shampoo he wears.

His injured arm was left open, King was already wearing clean jeans. While his dirty clothes he put in a large tub beside the bathroom according to Rani's instructions.

“Loh, why not wear clothes? Not that it was already dis ..” Rani immediately turned her face and stopped her speech, she bit her lips to see King walking towards her with a chest.

Rani's face blushed, the scene in front of her made her chest rustle. Not once did he see a man flaunt his chest, even when Andre undressed in front of him his heart did not beat like this, when King did it, Rani felt something different.

King has the sturdy body of a man that many women love. King's wide chest as well as his flat stomach were now clearly plastered in front of his eyes and disturbed the calmness of his heart.

“The book is too narrow, my neck is like being strangled while wearing it.” Sahut King's. “But if you are disturbed by my appearance like this, I can cover it with this towel.”

King proved his words, he stood in front of Rani by draping a towel he wore around her neck. “How about like this?”

Rani turned her face, holding back a smile at King's style that reminded her of an advertisement on television. He felt a little relieved because the towel was able to cover part of King's open chest.

“How about I get my dad's shirt, I think grandma still keeps it in ..”

“No need, Rani. I'm not used to wearing other people's clothes,” refused King, made Rani relented and finally sat back down.

“Better I change your bandage now,” said Rani later. He patted the empty bench beside him, and asked King to sit there.

On the table is available a medicine box following wound cleaning fluid, also a cream to reduce swelling. King said, he sat down beside Rani and extended his hand.

Rani starts cleaning around King's injured arm. “What did you feel the first time the snake bit you?”

“Shocked,” replied King briefly.

“More specifics!” ask Rani again.

“Merinding, then dizziness a moment.” King looked at Rani, the woman's face so close to his. King could even see to the depths of Rani's eyes.

“You should have been more careful, many died from snake bites.” Rani said with an anxious tone. “If it happens, many will feel you lost in this place.”

King laughed hearing that, “What is that including you too?” tanya King who suddenly made Rani flutter.

“What do you mean, I just reminded. You're one of my grandmother's confidants, she wishes you a lot.” Kilah Rani's. He was preparing to apply the cream on King's arm.

“The switch is not venomous, so it does not harm my life. Swelling in my hand as a result of I fell off the horse,” said King smiled meaningfully, he could catch the tone of worry in Rani's voice.

“But on your arm there's a snake bite scar, didn't you notice?” Rani touched the scar on King's arm, and the man immediately scrunched his forehead.

There was a small, bow-shaped wound on King's arm, as well as a bluish bruise around his arm that had started to faint in color. Although the swelling is no longer visible, the pain still arises when Rani's fingers touch her arms.

“I know, I saw it.”

Anxious, Rani accidentally presses King's arm while applying the cream there. And the man looks grimacing withstanding the pain.

“It looks like you're upset with someone, and I'm your anger's outlet.” King said later.

King grimaces and turns his face away, while Rani continues her work. He had finished applying the cream and was now wrapping King's arm with a new bandage.

“Thank you, you've treated my arm.” King said sincerely.

“Wait a minute, just a little more.”

King frowned, “Moreover, Rani?”

Rani takes the marker she has prepared, and opens the lid by biting it. Then without caring about King's eyes glaring at him, Rani began to write a short sentence on King's arm just above his new bandage.

Quickly recover King, I'm waiting for you to take me on a ride with you.

“Completed, work done!” Rani smiled and closed back the marker in her hand.

King raised his arm and started to read Rani's writing there, her laughter breaking instantly. “It looks like you can't wait to do it soon.”

“You must keep your promise, King.”

“Of course, you don't have to worry about that. I will do it and keep my promise to you,” King said before he went to the back house to see Ben.

At half-eight in the morning, the sun began to reveal its golden radiance. The workers began to arrive and were immediately preoccupied with the work of cleaning up the remnants of the flood overnight.

Soon enough, at eight in the morning some workers joined Ben and King to find and collect livestock and lost horses, while the rest worked to repair the damaged enclosure fence.

Likewise with Rani, that morning she began to help work on her grandmother's bookkeeping. It did not take long, just a matter of hours Rani had completed all her work.

“How can you do it that fast, it's not even lunchtime yet?” Grandma was surprised to see the results of Rani's work, she looked at the monitor screen in front of Rani and saw the graph of numbers there as well as the columns beside her.

“Grandmother, I just continued the job Gaby left behind. Matching all the data present on this computer with the report data present in the field. The result was appropriate, there was nothing wrong with the work Gaby did. He did his job well, it is a pity he had to resign faster.”

“Hary screwed up our work all. The man always tried to tease Gaby, and King couldn't stand her behavior. Hary scares Gaby and makes other workers uncomfortable with her work.” Grandma sighed deeply, then looked at Rani and rubbed her hands.

“Grandma does not blame King's attitude even though in the end Grandma had to lose one of the best workers on this farm. Grandma was hoping Gaby would come back to work here, because Grandma can't keep hoping for you. After your vacation is over, you will definitely return to the city and continue your work there.”

“Looks like I can help Grandma this time,” Rani said as she flicked her finger. “Grandma just need to give me Gaby's home address, and I'll persuade her to go back to work on this farm.”

“He lived with his father in the village behind the mountain, his mother had long since died. Jeny brought him here and introduced him to Grandma. He had been in college but had to stop in the middle of the road when his father's farm business was having problems, and he had to work to help meet the needs of his life as well as his father.” Grandma reveals.

“It looks like Gaby is a fun person to work with,” Rani said in response to her grandmother's remarks.

Grandma nodded her assent, “Are you going to do it for Grandma, bringing Gaby back to work here?”

“Of course, that's what Rani came to this place for.” Rani smiled and hugged her grandmother. “Grandmother take it easy, I promise I will bring Gaby back to work here.”
