My Beloved Cowboy's

My Beloved Cowboy's
Chapters 20. Lady King

Rani clenched her hands, anxious to hear Tony's story. He didn't expect what Gaby's manager did to be so outrageous.

“The man already has a wife, and he often tries to tease Gaby. I don't understand how strong Gaby is to survive the salary she receives besides having to face Parker.”

“Those men should learn a lesson!”

“I agree!” Tony said yes. “Do you want to see him this afternoon? I think the shop is still open. There's still an hour before he closes his shop at half-six in the afternoon.”

Tony pointed at the watch in his hand, and Rani was excited to hear it. “That's why I haven't seen a model man like this in a long time. We're leaving now!”

“Ready, Miss!”

Tony takes Rani through a shortcut to the animal feed store where Gaby works. It only took them ten minutes they had already gotten there.

Tony pulled his car over in front of the store entrance, parallel to one other car. “Are you sure you want to get in there?”

Tony turned to Rani, the woman was busy flicking her hands in front of her nose. He smiled broadly and grabbed the tissue box that was behind the seat of his car. “Looks like you need this thing.”

“Thank you,” said Rani while pulling some tissue from her place, folding it and putting it into her hand.

Tony stood still for a moment, staring in the direction of the store as if he was observing something. He smiled slanted when he saw the person he was after seemed to be serving one of the buyers in his shop. “You see, there it is. That guy's name is Parker!”

Rani looked in the direction Tony pointed. The man was half bald with a distended stomach and wore a tight shirt, open on his belly. His shirt buttons seemed to be dislodged because they were unable to stem his distended stomach.

Tony got out of the car, walked around opening the door for Rani then stepped together into the store. “See what I will do to you,” he said half muttered.

Just getting in front of the first storefront, Rani has to cover her nose with her index finger. He could not stand the pungent smell of the room filled with various kinds of animal feed.

It's really terrible a place like this, full of dust and not well taken care of. Chicken feed splashes on the floor, as well as a sloping, high-arranging haystack that could at any time fall suddenly.

“Don't you, anything I can help you with?” Parker asks Tony while taking an interested glance at Rani, he deliberately shifts closer to where Rani is standing and offers her a box of tissues.

Rani shook her head quickly and opened her palm, there was a sheet of tissue in her grasp.

Tony cleared his throat, pulled a shovel hanging from a rope on the wall and snapped it to the floor. “What's kw?” ask her while flipping through the shovel in her hand, before lifting it up and pointing it in front of Parker's face.

Rani folded her lips, trying to hold back her laughter. He remembered the King every time he saw that thing. Parker's face turned sour and he walked away from Rani and stood in front of Tony.

Parker grunts, and Rani instantly remembers her grandmother's farm animals. “I don't sell kw goods, it's original. We brought it directly from his home country.”

“How much is it? I need a lot to dig the ground,” said Tony still flipping through the shovel in his hand.

The guy mentioned the price, “Indeed expensive, but worth it for a genuine item like this.”

Rani, who had been silent, approached Tony and whispered to him. “You really want to buy this thing?”

Tony nodded, “King told him to buy, we need to clean up the remnants of mud on the farm.”

Rani rounded her lips, she walked away and stood in the corner of the shop near the entrance. He who intended to teach Parker a lesson instead turned to vomit while in his shop.

Can't imagine how Gaby every day has to dwell in this place. Really not healthy.

“Tony, all you bought ten for the farm!”

That voice, Rani immediately turned back and looked up at King's appearance.

“King?” exclaiming Rani called his name, he walked up to welcome King who was about to get off his car. He hadn't seen that guy all day. The bandage on his injured arm was no longer visible.

King smiled at him, the man looked very tired. The white shirt she wore was soaked in sweat. In the back of his car full of tied up farm animals.

King unscrewed the bottle of drink he was carrying, not to drink but he threw it over his head. The weather that day was hot, after being hit by rain storms and strong winds at night.

Not stopping there, the man then handed the empty drink bottle to Rani and then grabbed Rani's shoulder to walk into the store with him.

Rani held her breath, not because of the smell in the shop room. But because he didn't want King to hear the sound of his heartbeat beating fast.

“I only brought money for three spades,” Tony said showing the money sheet in his hand.

King took the purse out of his jeans pocket, and took out a wad of money. “Let me take your car, and you change bring the cattle back to the farm.”

King handed the car keys to Tony and the man said he said goodbye to Rani and immediately rushed out of the store.

“Can you faster provide the shovel I requested?” asked King looking straight at the man before them.

Fifteen minutes later, the ten shovels had moved to King's car. The man leaned his back for a moment against the back of the chair behind him, then looked at Rani softly.

“I'm so tired today, if you could replace me driving this car.” Said King smilingly touching the strands of hair on Rani's cheeks.

“Take it easy, King. I can do it for you.” Rani stared back at King, she was serious with her words.

King shifts to the side, letting Rani take over the wheel. He smiled at Rani who was calmly running the car home to the farm.

“You are indeed my woman, I am very happy to find you in this place,” said King before he closed his eyes, asleep exhausted.
