Rani keeps silent in her room, no longer interested to see how Andre is doing. Although their relationship has ended, Rani hopes that the man does not suffer the fate of falling from a horse and suffering a broken leg like the shadow of her previous self.
Choosing berleha-leha in her room, Rani plays loud music from her phone. Joggers alone follow the style of the original singer, jumping on the bed while twirling his head until his long hair flutters apart. Then he was exhausted on the bed with a breath.
“Oh My God! Rani, what are you doing?”
That's the voice of his grandmother, Rani rushed up and turned off her phone and sat sweetly folding legs in front of the grandmother who sniffed staring at the appearance of herself and her disheveled bed.
“I just want to rest and enjoy music as per my taste.” Rani answered, while tidying her long hair and curling it high.
“Leo said, on the field there is a battle of dexterity taming horses between King and lord Hutama.” Madame Maggie stepped near the window, scribbling the curtain cloth that partially closed the window of Rani's room. A cold air immediately filled the room. “Are you not interested in seeing them compete?”
“I've seen it, and King almost got kicked by a horse.” Sahut Rani, without telling how he climbed the fence and ran around the field while shouting to call King's name.
“Oh, yes?” Madame Maggie raised one eyebrow. “Know Grandma, King is a reliable horse tamer. He can certainly easily overcome his problem.”
“Tak as easy as Grandma thought.” Rani muttered indistinctly, remembering how worried she was when she saw King fall to the ground and the horse almost kicked her.
“What's the matter, it's not usually you like this. From morning Grandma noticed that your face looked tense. Did you have a fight with King?” Madame Maggie walked over, taking a seat next to Rani.
Rani shook her head, “We're fine, I just want to be alone in my room. That's it.”
“Rani, answer Grandma's questions honestly. Are you happy living on this farm?”
Rani nodded, she knew it was time for them to talk seriously. “I'm happy to stay here, this place is very comfortable and quiet. I also meet new people who are fun.”
“If Grandma asks you to stay here forever, would you be willing?”
Rani was stunned for a moment, “What does Grandma mean?”
“Grandma just wants to hear an honest answer from you, it will determine Grandma's next move.”
“What all this has to do with the land of Mr Philips farm that Andre will buy?” ask Rani carefully.
“Grandma doesn't want to add to your problems, Grandma knows you love King. And hope Grandma, seeing you can continue this business together with your loved ones who will accompany your life until the end of age.”
“Oh, Grandma. Of course I want to, I'm willing to stay here with him and continue Grandma's business.” Rani answered that relieved the grandmother's heart.
“Now, tell Grandma your problem. We'll talk casually, and Grandma will listen to all your complaints about King.”
It seems there is nothing that Rani can cover from the jelly eyes of the grandmother. He exhaled a long breath, bowed languidly staring at the floor below him. “King saw Andre hugging and kissing me in the kitchen this morning.”
Plaque!
“Aduh!” Rani complained and spontaneously pulled her body slightly away, grimacing to hold her arm that was clamped by the grandmother. “Why did Grandma even hit me?”
“What should Grandma laugh glad to hear that man managed to kiss my grandson?” reply Maggie while she glares. “Then why did you let him do it to you, didn't you say you guys had nothing to do with him anymore. Or maybe you are still in love with your ex?”
“Oh My God! Grandma, that's not the story.” Rani inched closer, then told her the true events to her grandmother. “Andre insisted on kissing me right at the time King walked in to remind him of his challenge, and he made up a lie to King that we were missing. This red mark on my neck is also the result of it.”
Rani shows the side of her neck, the traces of Andre's lips which are now bluish in color are clearly visible there.
“Dan King trust him.” Madame Maggie sighed, looking at Rani for a moment. “Now Grandma knows why King's attitude changed to you, he's angry with you and jealous of Andre.”
“King, jealous of Andre?” Rani turned her head quickly, which meant that the man also had the same feelings as her.
A red hue spread across Rani's cheeks. She smiled shyly at the thought of her memories with King when the man kissed her lips for the first time in the presence of his ex-girlfriend, saying he wanted to convince everyone of their relationship. Unconsciously her hand raised and touched her lips.
“You can't fool these old eyes, Grandma knows you like each other. An indifferent king, suddenly changed since your arrival at this farm.” Madame Maggie tidied the strands of hair on Rani's cheeks and slipped them behind her ears.
“King is very attentive to you, and he always keeps an eye on where you go. If Andre hadn't come that night, Grandma is sure King has already declared his love for you.” Maggie's mistress again.
“Since the beginning of Grandma has been able to feel the strange gurgle of the man when he saw your presence in this house, he knows your closeness with King and plans to separate you guys.”
“He managed to mess up our sweet relationship that just walked,” said Rani added the grandmother's greeting with the face of the nelangsa.
“Looks like Grandma had to step in to ease this mess.” Madame Maggie got up to her feet, she extended her hand to Rani.
“What will Grandma do?” rani asked as she welcomed her grandmother's hand.
“After lunch hour arrives, we have to cook something to welcome the champion.” Madame Maggie said glancing meaningfully, while holding Rani's hand stepping into the kitchen of her house.
Rani said that even though her heart was filled with question marks, it seemed like her grandmother was sending a signal that would help her with her problems. But why even take him to cook for the champion, what King does his grandmother mean?
It turns out there Gaby is waiting, along with her grandmother's housekeeper. The two were busy preparing various cooking ingredients, it seemed like the menu this time was made in large quantities.
“Didn't when I got back home, you were still in the field?” rani asked, whispering to Gaby who was cleaning the vegetables.
“Iya, but Hary asked me to follow you while he watched.” Sahut Gaby's.
Rani frowned, “Since when did you obey Hary's orders?”
Gaby's face met red, “It's not important, now the most important help us prepare lunch for the workers.”
“Yuhuu, it turns out that something has been made. Grandma, there's good news. Soon there will be a party in this house,” seductress Rani, while shouting to call her grandmother.
“Ssttt, noisy!” Gaby covered Rani's mouth with her fingertips. “Mrs Maggie won't hear it.”
“Ish!” Rani dyed, looking for the grandmother. “Not her grandma was there just now, she brought me here to help cook?”
“Mrs Maggie went to see dad at home, it seems like there is an important thing they discussed.” Gaby answered Rani's question.
“Do you know what important things they discussed?” ask Rani.
Gaby smiled meaningfully, “Something concerns our future in this place.”
“You mean?”
While in the living room of Gaby's house, Mr. Philips was having a serious conversation with Mrs Maggie about the sale of her ranch. He was surprised to hear Rani's grandmother decided to buy her farm.
“What makes you suddenly want to buy my land, you will get busier and not have much time to relax and enjoy your old days?” ask Mr. Philips.
Madame Maggie chuckled, “Don't get me wrong, soon I have someone who will take care of all this farmland of mine. Just wait.”
“Who do you mean, is he King? Isn't he just the head foreman at your farm?”
“He will be the most important part of my family,” replied Madame Maggie.
“Do you intend to match King with your grandson, Rani?”
Madame Maggie chuckled again. “I don't have to struggle to match the two of them, because they seem to be destined to be together.”
Mr. Philips laughed when he heard it, “I understand, You do not want this farmland to fall into the hands of Mr. Hutama. Moreover, the man was once close to your grandson.”
“Is not a wide open opportunity for anyone with cash, and you are not bound by promises with Hutama's youngster.” Madame Maggie reminded me.
Mr. Philips nodded, “I gave him two Weeks to complete the payment in cash, but did not rule out the possibility for other buyers.”
“Alright, who's fast he can be!” said Maggie's madam excitedly.
