Chapter 38. Disillusioned

Rani was ready with herself that morning, she stood for a moment in front of the glass to confirm her appearance. Rani wears a gray cloth trouser and a long-sleeved white shirt that the left side is inserted into, while the right side she lets dangle out. It looks relaxed but still fashionable. His long hair was tied to a ponytail, until it showed the neckline

Gaby has been gone since, and says she will wait for him at the dinner table for breakfast together. Rani immediately headed to the kitchen of her grandmother's spacious house, not expecting there were still some farm workers who were there sitting talking while enjoying their coffee.

“Good morning, Miss.” Greet the workers, nodding respectfully at the sight of Rani's arrival.

“Morning,” replied Rani with a smile, she then pulled one of the chairs and sat opposite Gaby who was smearing some bread with her favorite peanut chocolate jam.

“I think they are all already in the field,” said Rani in a whispering voice, then said thanks when Gaby thrust a plate containing bread that had been given jam to her.

Gaby glanced at the watch in her hand, “ Another hour, around nine this morning.” Gaby replied, then offered Rani a drink. “Coffee or ..”

“Teh is warm only,” says Rani quickly, and deftly Gaby prepares for her.

"Thank you," Rani began to devour her breakfast, a loaf of bread had already entered her stomach. Rani sips her tea and smiles at Gaby remembering her plans for King that morning.

Sunday is actually a time off for workers, so the grandmother chose to rest all day in her room and free her workers to do any activities at her farmhouse.

Workers are free to experiment in the kitchen, cook or process food because everything is available there. It's just that they have to do everything themselves without involving the ranch housekeeper.

As of this moment, they had breakfast together in the kitchen of the main house of the farm. That day they all agreed to come and gather there and have fun together. After learning there would be a horse-taming agility fight between King and Andre, they were getting excited and wanted to give King some support.

“Here you are apparently, from earlier I searched for you everywhere.” Andre was suddenly sitting opposite him, right next to Gaby. His eyes could not be seen Rani who looked beautiful that morning.

“Uhuk!” almost Rani choked on her own drink, she gave a huff and immediately stood up to leave from the man's sight. But Andre's hand on his arm stopped his steps.

“I need to talk to you,” pinta the man looked at her with pleading eyes. “I need to resolve the misunderstanding that occurred between us.”

“Oh, yes?” Rani stared coldly, Andre has yet to release his hand grip “Let go!” hiss Rani was sharp, as if disgusted when her skin touched Andre's hand.

Simultaneously, King appeared in the kitchen and headed straight for the coffee maker. He brews his own drink and not one bit looks at Rani, then steps to the end table and starts enjoying his coffee.

“I won't let go of my hand before you sit back and listen to me talk to you,” Andre said, making Rani even more upset with him. And Gaby there didn't help him much either.

“Sorry, I have to deliver breakfast to my father first.” Gaby smiled at Rani, ignoring her glaring eyes at her. He took a quick glance at Andre, and quickly passed from there before Rani opened her mouth and threw a protest at him.

“That's right,” said Andre smiled happily, he became more free to talk because the workers had started to leave them both.

“Rani, please! Like it, I'm a guest in this house. And as a good host, it is fitting that you treat your guests well and kindly.” He turned his head for a moment to King who looked indifferent on his desk, Andre smiled faintly. A thin grin appeared on his face.

“I have no more business with you, our relationship has long since broken. And you know very well what the problem is,” said Rani reminded.

“Sorry,” interrupted King, he got up from his chair and walked over. “If you're done talking to your fiancee, I'll wait another half hour in the field.” Said King then stepped out from there in a nonchalant manner, a triumphant smile appearing on Andre's face accompanying his steps.

Rani pauses slowly, who can guess what King thinks of her after hearing all of Andre's confessions. As Rani knew, King believed what he heard from Andre's mouth that he was still the male fiancee and just because of blind jealousy just left his fiancee.

“Days I searched for you everywhere, You just disappeared and didn't give me a chance to explain to you. I've prepared everything for our wedding ..”

King leaned against the wall of the house, looking up at the morning sky. What she heard just now was quite hurtful, she thought Rani a free woman with no ties to other men. But he was wrong, the woman already had a fiancee and was about to get married.

He must throw away his heart and start to keep his distance, so how he does not want to be a bully of other people's relationships.

“What is so difficult for you to keep a loyalty to the couple,” muttered King, then stepped away.

If only he had been there a little longer and listened to Rani talk, maybe the misunderstanding with Rani would not drag on later.

Rani who is windy, her eyes glittering with anger. He hates what Andre has done to him, hates his deliberate lies. Because he wants to ruin his new relationship with King.

“Do you think my eyes are blind and my ears are deaf to the point of not being able to see and hear clearly what you have done in that place!” Shouted Rani.

“As far as you are, whatever your judgment of me will not be able to change my feelings for you.” Andre said, “If I fail to marry you, I will make sure you will not be able to marry him either.”

“Are you crazy, what's in your head. Who do you think you can manage my life?” sergeant Rani.

“Did you forget who I am, hem? Do I have to do this so you can remember me again?” Andre ambushed Rani's body and grabbed her in his arms. He held Rani tightly and did not let Rani get away with it easily.

“What are you doing, breng sek!” Rani struggling trying to escape, fear surfaced in her mind. This man was out of his mind, and he lost energy. Andre also caught his wrist and swung his arm, while one of his hands supported his back and pressed into his chest hugging Rani forcibly.

“Should have long ago You let me do it to you, that way I won't do it to another woman.” Andre forced Rani to look at him.

Rani tried hard to break away, she turned her face away as the man tried to kiss her lips. Precisely the skin of his neck that was open made Andre easily land his lips and make a reddish mark there.

The sound of fast-moving footsteps stopped Andre's movements, he turned his head quickly and smiled as he restored his hair with his fingers. "You know, I always forget myself when I'm with him."

“You are ten minutes late from the appointed time!” said King with a stiff face, he looked at Rani who was still in Andre's arms and could clearly see the reddish mark on her open neck.

“King.” Rani's tongue feels faint, the look of King's eyes shows a sense of disappointment that is so obvious.
