Arana activates her phone as soon as she gets to the apartment. After a week of honeymoon that actually looked like a vacation, Arana frowned when she saw dozens of missed calls from Amber.
While sitting on the plane, Arana only realized that her phone was left behind. He did not realize that he did not put his cell phone in his bag and was still lying on the table to death because he was out of power.
Arana immediately opens Amber's contact and finds a message that makes her manic expand even unconsciously. Arana's hand holding the phone squeezed and her phone fell right over her face which made her squeal softly. Her nose turned red when she reached for her phone again, but Arana did not care about it and just kept looking at her phone screen in disbelief.
There's a message from Amber.
[**Nana! naw! naw! One week Lily will be back!! || **Nana! Lothawat! Lothawat! Lily is coming back in a week!!]
[**Nana! Why didn't you reply to my message?! Arana!! This****is really bad!! || **Nana! Why not return my message?! Arana!! This Arana is really bad!!]
Many other messages, until there is a last message that is longer than other messages. And it was just delivered this morning. [*Na\, I really don't know what happened to you and your phone. I really hope you are well. But this is really precarious. Once Lily came back and asked for you\, I couldn't hide anything from her. But I have tried and told that your parents picked you up to let you live with them. Nana\, Lily booked flight tickets today. Do whatever\, whatever not to let him know the real reason you're going to Indonesia\, or he'll really get mad || **Na, or, I really don't know what happened to you and your phone. I really hope you're okay. But this is really precarious. Once Lily comes back and asks you, I can't hide anything from her. But I've tried and said that your parents picked you up to let you live with them. Nana, Lily booked a flight today. Do whatever it takes to not let her know the real reason you're going to Indonesia, or she'll be really upset.]
Arana pias's face.
Lily ... is coming?!
"No way!"
"What is impossible, dear?" The voice made Arana look up, and subconsciously locked the screen of her phone. He put it behind him and looked at Alva with a smile, trying to hide the nervousness he had.
Arana shakes. "It's nothing, Al. I just saw a good shoe but it was sold out, when it was just launched. So it's impossible."
Alva realizes Arana's strangeness, but she just nods. Secretly thinking about the reason for Arana's attitude. But when she realizes that Arana also has her privacy that she may not want to know about, Alva secretly swallows her desire to investigate what Arana just saw. Criminality if bugging his phone.
"When did you get to work, Al?" Ask Arana.
Sitting beside Arana, Alva replied. "Tomorrow. There are some meetings I have to do with clients. It's possible that I'll come back later, but I'll make sure not to miss my dinner."
Arana nodded calmly with a smile that was not left on her face. Pretending to ask casually, though cheering inwardly that should coincide with Lily's arrival tomorrow. Lily couldn't possibly let go and would have chased her around to ask her where she lived if she had met outside. Knowing that she is with Amber who already knows her house, Arana believes Lily forced Amber to take her directly to this apartment.
Arana was really nervous!
***
It was almost noon. Usually Arana will sit back while watching television while watching television when she is busy hiding things that can be suspected by Lily and save it to the nearest place.
Arana should feel grateful that the 3 meters x 4 meters wide painting that shows her and Alva in a bridal dress was glued to her room and Alva, not in the main room or corridor. Otherwise, he would really be hard-pressed to hide such a huge object from Lily's sight when she came today.
"Storing photos in their frames into drawers and locking them, Arana sighed softly and could not help but feel nervous and guilty at the same time.
Not only did he lie to Alva, he even lied to his best friend who had been there for him ever since he was a child. But Arana really has no other choice because Arana does not want to make Lily worry about her. Arana is the one who understands Lily better than Amber. Her best friend had disliked her parents more than Amber, but she still understood her deepest desire to be able to feel the affection of parents.
Lily had just done a project that she had to work on together with her team, and that required good effort and concentration.
If Lily worries about her because of her problem, Arana doesn't want to make Lily lose focus which could have an impact on her project in the end.
Dissolved in her chatter, Arana was awakened when she heard the sound of a bell ringing melodious and comfortable in her ears. He immediately ran to the front door and turned on the intercom screen. There's Amber's face in there.
"Nana! We come || Nana! We're coming."
"Amber's? You are here? || Amber? Are you here?"
"During didn't meet, Na."
Arana raised her hand and nervously replied, calling out to him in a soft voice. "Li-lilly. Why didn't you tell me you were back and coming?"
He pretended to be surprised, though he looked at Amber who clenched her hands and said sorry without a sound.
Arana and the young man broke away after a moment of hugging. Arana looked up, looking at the face of her best friend whom she had not seen for a long time. The young man in front of him was naturally a handsome young man. If Alva is a masculine good-looking with a cold affection and can not be arbitrarily approached, Lily's good looks are more feminine, with a shady smile that is always the most enchanting part of her. However, the nature of the two is not much different for Arana, because the young man in front of him is also not easily approached by strangers and does not talk too much.
Her skin was bright white and her hair was soft blonde. Identical appearance like the white equestrian prince of a fairyland.
"You should know that I'm angry right now, Na. I hugged you because I really missed you, but I'm pissed off with you too."
Arselyne is a smart man. She speaks many languages as well as Arana, and she is fluent in Indonesian because she does not want to make Arana forget her native language, which is Indonesian. Arselyn's words make Arana smile stiffly and inevitably look up, look at her with her typical smile after being calmer and invite her to enter first. "Let's go in and sit down first. It's not comfortable to talk outside."
All three stepped inside, and Arselyne was immediately treated to a view of a luxurious apartment, as luxurious as the apartment he lived in the Netherlands.
He frowned, and as he sat down immediately said, "What makes your parents so generous to give you this luxurious apartment after neglecting you for 12 years?"
The question imbued with the fact made Arana agitated, but still answered him with words that he had thought carefully. "They said they would make amends and try a new beginning."
"New start? So why don't they ask you to stay with them and let you live in an apartment instead? Isn't this the same as your life in Melbourne, and just feel more facilities?" Arselyne.
"Actually, it was me, I who refused to stay with them, Ly. A dozen years of living apart from them, they felt a little foreign to me, and I needed time to get used to them." Answer Arana.
Arselyne did not stop asking him questions. "When did they pick you up?"
"Not long ago, just two weeks ago. Isn't that right, Nana? || Not long\, just two weeks ago. Isn't that\, Na?"
Arselyne stared intently at Amber who interrupted Arana's reply. Looking at that gaze, Amber shrieked, frowned and grabbed the setoples of pastries on the table and nipped her in dissatisfaction. In the circle of their friendship, Amber is always the most defeated party if they have to deal with Arana and Arselyne, both attitude and knowledge.
Arselyne turned to Arana and asked. "Why don't you let me know if they come to you and invite you to live in Indonesia? Na, am I not important to you until something like this, you don't want to tell me?"
"No!" Arana shook her head in panic, "It's not like that!"
"Then what do you mean?"
Arana put her hands together, slightly lowered. "I don't want you to worry about me. You still have a science project in Holland with your team, so I don't want to tell you until you get back. But you suddenly came not even to inform me, so I didn't have a chance to tell you."
"Ly, I just don't want to worry you."
Seeing Arana's seriousness, Arselyne could only exhale and nod. "All right, I can understand. I will forgive you for this time, but I am still upset for some reason. So, if you want to ease my frustration, you need something."
Arana's bead shines brightly. "How lucky! It just so happened yesterday that I made your favorite milk pudding!"
It's not a coincidence, actually.
Arana purposely made it to anticipate problems like this.
Hearing the milk pudding, Arselyne's ears immediately stood up. His two crossed hands did not change, yet his eyes could not help but feel excited. Arana smiled and cheerfully said, "I'll get it!"
