"Na, how are you?"
His civil asked Arana who was leaning in the hospital bed while enjoying the fruit that he had pressed. Wine was one of Arana's favorite fruits, so she calmly enjoyed the fruit-eating event with a carefree heart.
Replying to her Civic question, Arana nodded. "I'm doing fine. Do you think I'm so weak that I can do anything just because of a wound like this?"
No, Arana was really scared at first. Arana could barely calm down all night and continued to cry in front of Alva. Recalling how Alva slept all night in the hospital bed with him, hugged him in his arms, and let him sleep in his chest. Every soft word spoken by Alva was still ringing in his head and he was utterly ashamed of it. But given how warm Alva's embrace was last night, Arana's heart warmed and she couldn't help but smile gently.
His looking civil opened his lips and teased Arana, "Oh. Do you remember Alva now?"
Arana was caught off guard and she shook her head with a red face. "Of course not!"
"Your face is as red as a tomato, tau~" his Civilian tease makes Arana flabby, before finally covering both of her cheeks using her palms and slightly bowing her head, looking dissatisfied at her Civil.
"Don't tease me, or I'll call Senandika to drag you away."
Senandika is his civil fiancee. The man was a famous doctor at Arana's hospital, so Arana knew him well. Hearing Arana's childish threat, her Civil chuckled softly before her gaze focused on the apple in her hand that she was peeling.
"Your husband really cares about you a lot." Civil Saying.
Arana looked at her lowered Civanya peeling the apple and was silent to listen to her words. "When I called him that night, he went to the club to find you. Even when you were unconscious in her arms, she hugged you very tightly and cried for you. I was near him, and I heard his words. He said he wished he could absorb all your pain because his heart was breaking seeing you in a severe state back then."
The civin looked up, put on a smile. "Your husband really loves you. How lucky you are."
Arana looked at her Civanya wordlessly, before she hesitantly lowered her gaze and voiced out in a soft voice. "Actually, one's luck is really an injustice to another."
"Aah?" beanie Civilia.
"You know, sometimes .. I was so scared that one day, Alva would turn around and leave me - no, no" she said, "I was so scared, if someday he'll look at me with a look he's not showing me right now."
"If that happens, could it be me ..."
"You what?" ask Civa.
Arana shakes. "Forget it, I'm just saying shit."
In the end, even Arana can't say that she will probably never be able to forget Alva for the rest of her life.
...***...
A few weeks passed, and Arana was already allowed out of the hospital. The wound on his face disappeared, although it still looked a little, it was only faint, and was covered using a thin foundation alone, it could be disguised. His wounds have dried up and healed. Arana's appearance is more alive than ever.
Behind her, her Civanya carries a bag of things that Arana used during the hospital, and Alva guides Arana with such attention. Since a few weeks ago, Civanya became the only friend of Alana who came to see Arana and accompanied her for several hours until Alva returned, so that Arana did not feel bored in the hospital room alone.
From then on, her relationship with Arana became much closer and much better. Arana ignores that she must be Alana in front of her Civil and changes her personality in front of the girl she considers a good friend. Arana does not hesitate to tell Alva about her complaint when the man made her upset, Arana does not hesitate to tell a lot about her life during her time as Alana, and she does not hesitate to respond to the jokes and stories of her Civanya.
Her civil never talked about the reason for her change, and Arana also did not want to tell her.
Their closeness just flows.
"Al, we'll stop by a hot pot restaurant first, okay? I want to eat hot pot~" Arana said as she looked at Alva with a bead begging.
Stared with such a gaze, Alva was finally only able to sigh, review the gentle smile and nod after wiping Arana's mane with affection. "Of course, honey. Anything for you."
"Civa has to come."
"Come with us! Come on, Civa's coming, huh?" cajol Arana while grabbing the arm of her Civanya and wiggling it several times.
The girl glanced at Alva who calmly said, "Come with us."
The people nodded with doubt. "Sorry to trouble you today."
After Arana's happy smile is created, they step in together into Alva's car and within minutes have arrived at a famous hot pot restaurant there. Actually, it was a restourant that Alva often came to when she was in a bad mood and wanted to let go of her emotions.
To be honest, the hot pot there is very spicy for Alva.
Stepping in, the waiter graciously greeted Alva who they knew as a VIP guest. "Welcome, Mr. Erlangga and the ladies."
Arana walked over while looking at Alva. "Oh, why do they know you, Al? Do you eat here often?"
Alva smile. "Actually not too often. I only ate here a few times, but I bought a VIP member card for convenience reasons when I wanted to eat here."
Arana grunting. "Wow, if you have so much money, it's easy to do something."
The civilian smiled next to him and said, "You also rented an entire cafeteria for yourself when you didn't want to be disturbed while eating a few times at school, you're both the same."
Hearing that, Arana's smile suddenly stiffened. Alana did? Damn, how much is Alana's school allowance to be able to rent an entire canteen just for herself?
Arana pursed her lips and looked at her Civil. "That's been a long time. Now I'm happy, so I'm not going to use capitalism to annoy other customers who want to eat together, either."
"Good, good."
Not long after, they sat at a table with a bulkhead around it. The table is faced with a charming city back-up from the second floor. The window panes are one-way, so pedestrians won't be able to see what's behind the glass when visitors can see them.
"Welcome, what order do you want to make?" ask waitress.
Arana looked at the menu board and conferred with her Civanya and Alva. Afterwards, Alva said to the servant. "Hot pot number 2 and with extra sterile eggs."
The waiter recorded their order with a small note book and immediately nodded his head after getting their order before calmly pulling himself out of the room and reporting the order to the kitchen chef. Because the Civanya was not so fond of spicy as Alva who did not like the spicy taste, they bought two different types of hot pot with imported beef. Arana also ordered some types of mushrooms, squid and some dimsums and dumplings.
The restaurant has good and fast service. In just twenty minutes, their order was immediately brought to their table by the waiter.
The steam billows from two saucepans in a boiling pot. One was bright red, and one was milky white.
"See very good!" exciting Arana.
Alva and Civanya both smile at Arana's behavior and calmly begin to put meat and all other ingredients into the boiling pot, and wait to ripen. Half an hour later, the food was up, and each of their stomachs were bulging from the satiety.
Arana's satisfied!
Ding!
There was an incoming message that made Arana reach for her phone. There was a foreign number that sent her a message, but looking at the message, Arana clearly knew who sent her the message.
[How does it feel to be Alana? I want to tell you, don't use my sister's identity to do as you please.]
That's her brother-should too, Hiro.
