Arana wiped her nose using a tissue. He looked at his phone which he had been trying to turn on for hours, even though the results failed. Ten minutes since her phone fell into the water, Arana immediately took it to a nearby counter and asked for her phone to be repaired. But the mechanic said that his phone could no longer be used. After being repaired many times, all the parts in the phone were completely dead due to exposure to water.
"Hiks, hiks. Grandma," she said before continuing to mumble, "I can't take care of my grandmother's gifts well."
The girl hid her face in her arms and cried. Pouring his frustration and disappointment because the only precious thing the grandmother left for him had been broken.
"Wanna?"
The voice made Arana look up and see Michael standing in front of the door of his room with a gaze asking Arana.
"What's going on?" The question did not change his face.
Arana wiped her tears and shook her head calmly. "It's nothing. Just remember grandma."
Michael sighed and sat down beside Arana. "Mother died years ago, Rana. Mom's calm down there. Don't make it hard to calm down with you who are reluctant to take it off."
Arana was silent and did not answer Michael's statement. What does he know?
Arana has also been trying to let go of her grandmother even though she had to spend years. It is the One who is always there for her, who takes the place of her parents and always loves her with sincerity.
How could he so easily accept his departure and negate it?
Arana needs time.
"I'm sleepy. Can I sleep first?" Arana asked intending to cast Michael out smoothly.
The almost middle-aged man nodded in understanding and got up to his feet before stopping when he heard Arana's call.
"Ma,"
"Yes?"
Arana slightly lowered her gaze, before speaking in a faint hint. "Good night."
Michael remained silent for two seconds before nodding his head and replying. "Well, good night."
Watching the door close, Arana lies down for a moment after putting her phone in a storage box and putting it in a drawer. His right hand grabbed one of the papper bags on the nightstand and took it.
Opening it, Arana finds a phone that has been programmed exactly like Alana's, even including phone numbers, chat, social media accounts and others.
Arana squinted her eyes when she saw the latest post that was uploaded a few minutes ago.
The Freedoms.
Alana is free. With multiple accounts, Alana and Arana can monitor each other's social media accounts.
Arana smiled miris. "Should I be grateful to you?"
"I don't have to work anymore, I have a comfortable place to live, and I don't have to worry about financial problems." Said.
He continued while covering his face with his hands. "But why did I get all that after being you?"
"Alana, is this fair you think?" Samaritan swallowed into the silence of the night.
...***...
The man sat on the bench of his greatness. Look at the beam with a pair of netra soot as dark as night, which can trap anyone into its gemstone charm. His face was handsome, a mixture of Europeans-Indo, which made him a fluffy. Although not visible, but his face is really beautiful.
"Is the letter of licensing of industrial development in the Surabaya area already obtained?"
Erlan the assistant nodded. "After that, Amalia sent it to me yesterday and I gave a copy to the local government there."
"Hello, how's the preparation?"
[It's eighty percent, sir! We just put up decorations from the entrance to the Altar, cathering and some other things.]
"I want everything to go smoothly without any flaws." Said.
[We'll make sure everything is safe in control, sir.]
"All right." After that, he ended the phone call.
Erlan looked at the man in front of her who appeared to be taking out a jewelry box from her desk drawer. There are two wedding rings in it. If you pay close attention, there is a name engraving inside.
Alva & Alana
"Alva, are you sure of this marriage?" Erlan spoke after being silent for some time.
His question invited the young man——Alvario Reynan Erlangga, to turn his head. "I've prepared everything carefully, Lan. Anyway, what do you mean?"
"Huh, forget it."
Erlan swallowed back her voice. Choosing silence rather than having to make a fuss with his best friend and boss.
Hah, Erlan is helpless.
...***...
Arana looked at her reflection in the mirror. He has appeared perfectly with a shirt without blue sleeves that fit in his slender body. His subordinate Arana used a five-centimeter-high, black hels, similar to the sling bag he was carrying.
Her hair was left unraveled, and clamped using a sea-blue hairpin. Her lips smeared with soft bright color lipbams at the same time.
He stared at the pair of dark shades that were also staring at him.
"Rana, this is easy. You just need to replace Alana, marry her and then figure out how to get divorced. That's easy, Arana." Mumbled.
Ding~
There was a message ringing on his phone. The girl grabbed her new phone and saw a message there.
It's from Alva.
[Darling, I'm sorry. I don't think I can pick you up today, because there was a sudden meeting. I'll have Erlan pick you up, and I'll be a little late. Is it okay?]
Arana slightly tilted her head before replying.
[Mn, okay.]
Stepping down after carrying her phone, the girl found Lydia waiting for her downstairs. "Rana? Why is Erlan picking up in front?"
Arana answered as she was. "There was a sudden meeting that Alva would arrive late. So he told his assistant to come here."
Lydia nodded in understanding. "Alright, then don't make Erlan wait too long. And remember to keep your identity. Don't let anyone know you're not Alana."
Arana felt pain in her chest, but she put on a smile as sweet as Alana's. "Okay, ma. Alana go first ya~ I love mama~"
Peeping her cheek, Arana refrains from crying even in her heart. Lydia was fixed in place, before the pair of beads glazed over the back of Arana who was away from her.
"I'm sorry Mama, Rana." Ogre Lydia.
