My Beloved Arana's

My Beloved Arana's
Chapter 16: Amber's Arrival To The Party

The next night, the wedding was held. Of course, the one taking care of it is still Alva. Both Arana and Alva also welcome their respective family friends and acquaintances. Receiving congratulations and expressing gratitude for the interweaving of the sacred rope that had bound their sons and daughters. The party was held at the hotel which was Alva's hotel. The hotel room was so spacious and beautifully decorated, with a maroon and bone white theme that made the atmosphere elegant and so luxurious.

Erlangga and Damarian.

"Congratulations to your marriage, Alana. May you live with your husband."

One of the others said, "I actually don't believe Alana will get married at this easy age. I thought it would be Selia's or Middie's wedding first between our groups."

Arana who currently looks charming with a long red dress wiggles the glass in her hand and smiles. But said nothing but to return the congratulations from his Civanya a few seconds ago. He thinks so too. But, for business people, marriage at a young age is not a big deal. The business relationship under the pretext of marriage is no longer a taboo subject, and everyone knows. But Lidia and Michael loved Alana so much that she sacrificed herself to be a wife at her age who was still quite a teenager.

The maniknya accidentally caught the figure of Alva who was chatting and welcoming coworkers and friends. So did Lydia and Michael, as well as Johan——ayah Alva and so did Delliska. They have a large number of guests, but none of them here, whom Arana knows. No friends, no acquaintances, no one knows who he really is.

"Let me in!"

The voice made Arana slightly turn her attention towards the entrance. There, the guards were holding someone who was trying to get in. His pair of manics widened, finding someone he knew in front of him.

Amber!

"What's this?" Lydia was the first to respond to the situation that was quite eye-catching, and she approached the guard. The guard immediately explained. "Sorry lady. This girl forced her way in, but did not have an invitation. He said he was Miss Alana's friend."

Lydia turned her head and found Amber standing crossed her arms in front of her chest. The girl was wearing casual clothes. Plain top with pink denim jacket and white jeans skirt. White high boots really make it look the opposite of today's dresscode. Lydia almost thought that the teenager was lost, but once she remembered the pair of sharp beads, Lydia realized that the girl was actually Arana's best friend.

"Good night, madam. It's a pity that I don't have an invitation, however, can I go in to see my best friend?" The question made Lydia nod stiffly.

Amber smiled but her smile did not reach under her eyes. "Thank you, madam. Oh, your dress is so pretty."

Lydia was stunned, left with one compliment about her dress.

...***...

Amber stepped resolutely towards Arana who looked on without blinking. Her grin widened, and she greeted Arana. "Hello pretty! You look amazing today."

Arana's smile expands, and she welcomes Amber with a hug. Really, she misses her best friend!

"Hey Alana, who is he?" Maudy asked Arana.

Arana turned her head, pulling Amber beside her. "He's Amber, we met online and became friends."

"What's? But you never told me." Leva.

Arana stared indifferently, "Do I have to tell you everything?" His words made Leva and his friends suddenly awkward. They looked at each other and muttered in shame.

"Hi, I'm Amber. It's nice to meet you guys. I was so surprised that my best friend got married today. Unfortunately I was not invited. But since I'm a little special, at least that's what my parents said, I flew right here." Amber said with a friendly smile.

Leva commented again. "You look so young! How old are you?"

"Just like you guys."

Liora screeches. "How do you look so young? Do we use a specific recipe? What products are you wearing?? Tell me the secret, please~"

Arana chuckled, diverting the conversation. "Aren't you busy with the Lecturer?"

Amber rolled her eyes lazily. "Oh, don't remind me of him. I'm running, okay?"

Amber ruffled her waist and her gaze circulated. "By the way, where's my best friend's husband?"

Liora who was near Amber immediately patted her shoulder and pointed to where Alva was. "He's there. That tall and super handsome one."

Following Liora's direction, Amber pinched as she stared at Alva. Five seconds later, blood flowed from his nose. Damn, who ever said that Arana's future husband is fat, bald and bad-tempered?

It was the figure of a prince!!
