My Beloved Arana's

My Beloved Arana's
Chapter 49: The Accident

Two days later...

Arana stands in front of the boutique building that belongs to Karina. Some time ago, he used a taxi to get to this place. The girl was wearing a maroon-red blues with black jeans. A black sling bag was tied to her shoulder, and her hazel strands of hair were left to scrape freely without many accessories except for the earrings perched on both ears.

After a long time, Arana had already made her decision.

"Excuse me, would you like to meet Miss Karina?" A worker approached Arana and asked her.

Arana nodded. "He exists?"

The worker commented a friendly smile and nodded his head. "Please follow me, miss."

Stepping following the woman earlier, the Arana bead could not be separated from looking at the scenery around the boutique. The warm air from the soft light makes Arana feel comfortable. If he could really work in this place, how much fun.

"Miss Karina, Miss Alana is here."

Feeling that she had arrived, Arana turned her head and found Karina sitting on a bench facing the balcony after she climbed the circular staircase towards the third second floor. The woman was wearing a dark blue long-sleeved shirt with a white jellyfish skirt that made her appearance look graceful.

Karina stood up and greeted when she saw Arana. "Ah, welcome, Alana. It's nice to meet you. Please sit down."

Stepping past the woman who delivered it, Arana sat herself in front of Karina who gave the code to her workers to be able to go back down and continue her activities.

"Please drink the tea, Alana." Karina said as she poured tea from the teapot into the cup.

Glancing at the woman who had returned, Arana Langung conveyed his point. "I can't work here."

"Aah?" Karina's face displayed a hint of disappointment. But when he heard the next speech from Arana, a smile just rose without being able to hold. "I mean, I can't work directly on this boutique. I have my own busyness, so I will only accept my work by email, and I will send the results of my work to you by email."

"May I know why?" Karina asked curiously.

Arana looked at him for some time before saying her answer. After all, Karina was older than him and in a moment, she was probably his superior. Despite Alana's bad nature, she couldn't possibly answer with such a disrespectful captive: It's none of your business!

"My parents don't like me to draw. I draw only as a hobby, including designing clothes. If they find out, I probably won't be able to touch the drawing tool again. Besides next month I'm starting college, so can't always come to the boutique." Arana said making a reasonable excuse to be accepted.

"So I can only work that way." Arana.

Karina looked at him before nodding. "I understand the problem that's happening to you. Anyway, welcome to Karina's Boutique, Alana."

"I'll send you his online contract later. And then you can contact me for a contract signature after reading it. If there's a problem with the contract, you can tell me."

Arana nodded. It was quite relieved that Karina accepted the reason. "Oh then I'll leave now. Thanks for the tea. It tastes good."

Karina chuckled softly. "That's Camomile tea."

...***...

"Well!!! Luckily it worked!"

Even if she could not work directly in this building, being part of Karina's Boutique and being able to work together with Karina was her greatest achievement.

Work with leading designers whose names have made it to the international scene.

Arana muttered in a soft voice. "It's okay, Rana. You only do it once. Once you want without caring for anyone else."

Rounding her resolve, Arana smiled and walked along the sidewalk. Arana does not stop the taxi because it wants to take a short walk while enjoying the view of the city is alive. Vehicles pass by, and large trees are planted on the road to offset the pollution generated from vehicle emissions gases both two-wheeled and six-wheeled such as trucks.

There are traveling merchants who sell snacks, even though they are actually prohibited from selling on the side of the road, but Arana knows that what they do is based on a sense of compulsion so that they get more money in a crowded environment.

Arana looked at them for a moment, before resuming her steps. His lips covered a smile.

The crosswalk lights were already green when Arana set her foot on the zebracross, intending to cross. Several vehicles that saw the red traffic lights stopped in the white line. Waiting for the lights to change color.

Everything was going normally, until a black car drove at high speed towards the calm Arana across. When Arana realized that there was a danger approaching her, there was only a shrill scream from the other road users when a thumping sound rang out.

BRACKET!

...***...

Looking at the dossier in his hand, Alva occasionally turned the paper over. Dive into every word he can find on white paper. He several times raised the reading glasses he used when he felt the thin gold-frame glasses decay slightly from the base of his nose. His gaze turned to look at the workers sitting on each bench in the meeting room.

His gaze was intimidating, making the atmosphere of the meeting room tense. "So, what can you be proud of about your project?"

"I've read the report written, but I found that this project is really ordinary. There was nothing special about the product this time, and there was even little in common with the Lmaria company. Is this what you've been discussing all this time?"

"Your hard work for a month?"

BRACKET!

"Don't joke!" The floor followed by the crack of the table made everything in the room cry out in shock. Who does not know that Alva can be so scary when angry. That's why everyone in the company is disinclined to him.

He took a breath. "I don't want to. Do this project again, bust a different product and do it as much as possible!"

"Ba—Good, Sir!"

He looked up when he heard the rapid footsteps heading towards the meeting room. Without knocking on the door, someone came in. Erlan looked at Alva and stepped closer, before whispering in her ear.

The pair of black beads widened. His heart was hit by something. It's ticking very fast. Alva did not heed the curious and confused look of her subordinates, as she ran out just like that after taking over the car keys in Erlan's hands. He didn't care when the employees were surprised and whispered to see him running in doom toward the elevator. Pressing the elevator button in panic. All he had in mind was one.

Erlan's words ringing in his head.

"The hospital called me because your phone is off. Arana had an accident and is currently in the hospital."
