My Beloved Arana's

My Beloved Arana's
Chapter 38: The Most Beautiful Revenge

Huh huh?

Whoever, please tell him that he heard wrong. Arana put on a smile that was not really a smile. "Ma—What do you mean?"

"I'm just kidding, haha! Just relax~" The words made Arana relieved for no reason. But his next words made Arana's breath again restrained. "I mean, I'm your husband's ex-girlfriend now, Alva."

Arana smile. But when viewed carefully, there is a trace of despair in it. Oh my God, Alana ever make any more trouble? Did Alana take Alva? But, Alva seems to love Alana very much. Oh, or maybe for loving Alana, Alva decided on this woman in front of him? What's her name, Flora?

But is that possible?

Look how beautiful the woman in front of him is!

Arana's bead is glazed. "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to take Alva from you. I—I ..."

Shit, Arana can't speak anymore. What should he say next?!

Does this woman intend to crash him?

"It doesn't matter, we parted well, really." Flora put up a grin that always seemed to be her mainstay. The 23-year-old woman rested her back on the back of a park bench. His hands were folded in front of his chest, and his head was tilted towards Arana. Provides a perfect visual appearance like a model.

"But I'm like hearing you just insulted me if I lose to you so you can snatch someone who should be mine." Arana shook her head in panic just after hearing Flora's words.

Really, Arana never meant that!

"Ti—No! That's not what I mean!"

Flora nodded. "Well, forget it. By the way, what are you doing alone in a park like this?"

Justjust like? No slaps, jellies or reporting?

Arana sat in an awkward position, twisting her hands and answering doubtfully. "Um, I'm bored and looking for some fresh air. But the truth is, I intend to go to the orphanage."

"The orphanage?" Flora parroted in surprise, which made Arana turn her head in confusion. But still nodded and replied, "Yes. There's an orphanage called the Sun Orphanage near here. Today is the time for a visit."

"Have you ever been to an orphanage?"

Flora shook her head. "No."

"That's .. do you want to come?" Arana's offer made Flora chuckle strangely, before nodding. "Can too. I'll come along."

...***...

The girl pushed the trolley which at this time was already filled with some basic necessities such as rice, eggs, noodles and canned food. Arana holds the trolley with her left hand, while her right hand is used to check the expiry date of the food inside. After confirming that the food was still long-term, Arana put it in a trolley and took several of the same canned items, before putting them back into the trolley.

Behind him, Flora followed quietly. Both hands crossed in front of his chest. His pair of sharp manics occasionally paid attention to his surroundings, finding several pairs of eyes looking at him with amazed and curious gazes.

His charming appearance and full of charm managed to make people interested in him, as well as the people in the minimarket.

"What else are you going to buy?"

"Buying writing and drawing equipment for children. Some of them go to school because of scholarships they can get. But there are those who cannot get a school education because they are unable to learn. So, I want at least they can learn to read and write or draw." Arana said while taking some kitchen needs such as potatoes, green vegetables and meat.

Arana used the money Lydia had given her. Lydia says that Arana is free to use the money for anything. Because indeed Alana every month gets the same amount for her allowance.

The first time checking how much her balance was, Arana felt how poor she was. Alana is lucky. That kind of money, which he might never be able to accumulate if forever worked as a delivery boy, was only used for his allowance for maybe a week. Remember, just pocket money. Lydia said that it was her right, and therefore, rather than Arana wasting her money on something unnecessary, he used it to give small favors to the children in the Matahari Orphanage. So as long as Lydia and Michael send her the money, Arana does not refuse and saves it.

They are also her parents, right?

Giving a little of their money to him would not bankrupt them.

After all, money needs monthly shopping and other needs that concern the household, Alva who prepared it.

"Why do you care so much about them?" The question made Arana stop her movements for a split second.

Because Arana almost knows what it's like. Abandoned by the person who should be responsible for him. Feel the rigors of life at a young age. The difference is, Arana still has her grandmother first and she can still go to school. So Arana just wants to help them, even though only small and trivial things she can do such as buying food clothing needs and some other small gifts. So that they can be more excited and able to become someone better in the future. Proving that even without parents, they can still survive in the world. It can still be someone who is looked upon, has friends, has someone loved, before finally having a family of its own.

It was the most beautiful revenge Arana had always thought of.

There need be no tears. There is no need for envy. There is no need for fear. That's all Arana thinks, even though her mind sometimes, is against it all.

Arana opened her lips answering, "Helping need not have a reason. Caring for others is basically an obligation that should be inherent in the personal self. Not only do I have, others, also you, have it."

"Only sometimes we don't realize exactly what it is for and for whom we should care." He said as he pushed the trolley to other places, to buy gifts for children.

Behind him, Flora looked at Arana with a pair of hard-to-pronounce beads.
