My Beloved Arana's

My Beloved Arana's
Chapter 29: Kerak Telor, Lumpia And Karedok

Ding!

His cell phone notifications made Arana look up. In the middle of watching the movie, he reached out his hand, grabbed the gold phone with the semi-transparent case and opened a chat from an unknown number. "Hm?"

[Hello, Alana. It's me, Karina Andini.]

Arana replied immediately. [Yes, is there something?]

[I'm going to get straight to the point because it's quite uncomfortable communicating through messages. There's something I need to talk to you about. Can we make an appointment to meet tomorrow morning?]

Arana scrunched her forehead for a moment, confused by what had just happened. But the girl in the end just kept quiet and agreed to a meeting with the designer. [Well, send me the location and I'll come.]

[Okay, good night.]

Arana looked at him for two seconds. His hand itched to reply, but in the end he pulled his hand and placed his phone beside him. Alana was not that friendly until she was willing to return Karina's greeting. Sitting hugging a pillow, Arana wonders what Karina will talk to her until she has to meet face to face. Her first and last meeting was when she tried on her wedding dress and since then she has not seen Karina again.

Arana still held suspicion towards Karina. It is speculated whether the woman knew that she was not Alana, or indeed simply stated that the dress was better to wear than anyone else. Oh, then cousin Alana—eh, that's also her cousin. He seems suspicious of her too. His gaze showed a strange thing that made the fur Iuduk Arana bristled. Seems to be planning something.

Who else knows?!

Uh! Arana's dizzy!!

"What bothers you until you look frustrated, baby?"

Alva's voice attracted Arana from her daydream. The girl looked up, looking at the towering beautiful man before her. "Have you finished your bath?"

"It has. What did you just think?" The question made Arana roll up a smile and shake her head. "none. I was just thinking what we were going to eat today. What are you going to eat tonight?"

Alva sat himself next to the girl. "Hmm, what do you want to eat?"

"Why did you ask back?" Confused Arana. Alva replied, "Today I want to eat what you want to eat."

"Ehh, why is it??"

Alva shook her head, put her head on Arana's boat. "I just feel like eating what you want to eat."

Hearing that, Arana slightly looked up, raised her manic and put on a thinking pose. "Egg crust."

"Elept crust?" Arana nodded in confirming.

His grandmother was of Indonesian descent, to be exact, Jakarta. His grandmother often told him about various things in Jakarta and Indonesia that made Arana feel wanted to know more about Indonesia. His grandmother used to say that Kerak Telor is his favorite food in addition to rendang and satay. But in Melbourne, looking for Kerak Telor is not as easy as looking for bread and sausages. Even if anything, her grandmother said that their artificial egg crust was not as good as handmade egg crust on the side of the road with a haul cart. Arana knows rendang and knows the taste of satay because her grandmother quite often makes rendang and satay first. But his grandmother could not make a crust of eggs.

"Is that all?"

Arana cradles before adding what she wants to eat. "I also want spring rolls and shit."

Arana hesitantly asked, "Is it okay?"

The warm hand fell on Arana's head. Wipe it with love. "Why are you asking like that. I'm glad my wife can get what you want. So, you can wait a while and the food will come as soon as I order."

Arana gave a smile. "Hm, okay."

After saying that, Arana sees Alva grabbing her phone, opens an app and searches for the food she wants with the highest rating and positive comments, and orders the food she wants.

Arana was impatient.

...***...

The food arrived half an hour later. For three types of food, the food delivery was quite fast. Maybe that's the one that makes the app desirable. Fast, safe and easy. Very effective.

Arana sat across from the Alva who was taking out the food inside the plastic. Duck egg crust, lumpia bed with sauce chili and karedok container that still looks fresh. Arana looked at him with a sparkling bead. I can't wait to try the food in front of him.

He said, "Can I eat it?"

Alva chuckled and nodded. "Of course, sweetheart. Eat it."

Arana smiled happily. Taking a small part of the crust of the egg onto its own plate. He took a spoon, and delivered it to his own mouth. His teeth chewed, waiting for a moment before a unique taste burst out in his mouth, frowned upon by his tongue. It feels completely new to him.

Not bad, but delicious!

Quickly there his grandmother likes the crust of eggs.

Looking at Arana who was eating voraciously, Alva gave a smile. "Darling?"

"Hm?"

Alva shook his head amusedly. "You eat like you've only tried this food for the first time. Looks like the lumpia I brought as a gift last month got you hooked, huh?"
