My Beloved Arana's

My Beloved Arana's
Chapter 25: Forgetting Important Things

Stripes are sanded with a rough and soft mixture. Every detail carries an engraved copy, and the originally pure white paper has now been used several sheets by Arana to draw what a pair of black beads can reflect. Arana slowly moved her back, flexing after hours of sitting on a bench on the balcony. Deciding to end her drawing, Arana keeps her sketchbook back in her suitcase and walks into the kitchen.

"Should I go shopping?" He muttered, looking at the refrigerator which was only filled with some stuff after he used it this morning.

Arana nodded her head. Decided to shop for monthly needs in the minimarket in front of the apartment. Arana walks towards her room, picks up her wallet and comes out.

"Oh, Alana? Where you going?" The question was raised by Melisa who was arranging a small potted plant next to the door of her apartment. The woman looked at Arana and slightly tilted her head.

Ariana smiled. "Wind the keminimarket, brother. Since I just moved, I haven't had time to buy kitchen materials."

Melisa nodded in understanding. "Be careful then. The streets are always crowded."

"Thank you, sis. Then I'm leaving." Melisa nodded, letting Arana pass before she returned to watering her plants.

The apartment has a date hallway with the inner side being the apartment space, while the other walled is a large, clear window array. So when people step up, they can see the scenery outside. But what makes it comfortable is that the glass is one way, so those outside can not see clearly what is behind it. It provides access to view the scenery, but also maintain the privacy of the apartment's residents.

...***...

Arana walked slowly after she got out of the elevator. With a long-sleeved shirt and white knee-length skirt, Arana passed the other apartment dwellers who were passing by on the ground floor. Some were chatting, some were asking the receptionist, some were just passing by like him, and some were even with the hauler to lift up luxurious furniture.

Oh, rich man.

Arana stared around her for a short walk, before she reached the edge of the highway. Vehicles passing by, both motorbikes, cars and even large vehicles such as buses and trucks. Standing under the crossing lights along with several other crossers, Arana waits until the lights turn green, before she and some other road use cross.

Upon arrival at the minimarket, Arana went in and looked for some items that became her and Alva's necessities. Starting from rice, meat, eggs, milk, bread, jam, and many other things that Arana feels important and urgent.

"Uhh!" Hearing the mutter, Arana turned her head and saw a small child trying to reach something on a shelf higher than her. The boy who looked only seven or eight years old was on his tiptoes and stretched his hands as high as he could. But it's still so hard.

The boy—Ryen accidentally came to this store to accompany the shopping mama. Or at least that's a pretext so he can buy his favorite snack. Some time ago he was separated from the mother who bought bathroom needs, while he ran to the snack rack to find his favorite snacks. But unfortunately, his favorite food is on a shelf high enough, until he is not enough to reach it.

When he tried to reach it, there was a pair of slender hands that first took his favorite snack. She thought it was the mother, until she was stunned when she turned her head.

Arana held out the snack towards Ryen. The boy with an inseparable look from Arana reached out his hand and received the snack. "Thank you, ka-sister angel."

The boy's words made Arana smile with an amused smile. It's so adorable!

Arana has always liked children because they really never had the slightest bit of hatred in them. They are sincere and know what is good and what is not. Arana likes their honesty.

She's not an angel, she's just Arana. The girl crouched down, equating her height with Reyn's height.

"Hello, what's your name?" Ask Arana. The boy replied with a shy smile. "Re-Reyn."

"Reyn? What a great name! Who's Reyn here with?"

Arana asked because she was curious because this child was alone there. No way, right, he came alone?

"With mom. Mom is shopping there. Brother, whose name is sister?" That answer made Arana nod in satisfaction. He opened his lips to answer Reyn's question. "Sister Alana's name. It just so happens that brother is also shopping for home."

"Reyn?"

Both looking. The woman brought a shopping cart. As soon as her gaze swept over Arana, her manic was widened. His pupils narrowed and his breath choked. He subconsciously dropped his groceries, and pulled Reyn's hand. Carrying her and running left the confused and astonished Arana. He was still crouching when he picked up the woman's groceries and put them in the basket.

"What's going on?" Arana Mumbles.

Arana shook her head, before calmly lowering her gaze. But as soon as his gaze fell onto the woman's groceries, his manic widened.

Shit, he forgot!
