My Beloved Arana's

My Beloved Arana's
Chapter 50: Tooth For Tooth

Arana's condition can be said to be quite severe. Blood flowed from his head when he was first taken to the hospital by an ambulance. Although he was still awake, but his consciousness was very thin, and in the end fainted in the car.

Eyewitnesses said that a car was speeding towards him when Arana was crossing. People knew that the car was wrong for breaking the red light, and causing an accident to occur. Even worse, Arana became a victim of a hit-and-run because the driver of the car fled right after Arana was thrown a few meters from his place.

Alva runs towards the IGD room as told by the receptionist in front, who tells him Arana's whereabouts as a crash victim on Nine Path.

"Well! Huh!"

Gasping, Alva found the figure of the doctor and nurse discussing in front of the door of the room where Arana was. He immediately approached the two. But his steps slowed and stopped when from the gap of the open curtain, he was able to see the state of Arana from behind the clear glass that borders it. That was Arana.

Alva's heart, which was beating fast in panic and after running, grew faster when she saw Arana lying helplessly in a hospital bed while a nurse cleaned her blood. Her shoot face was clearly displayed in her vision. Alva felt pain and tightness in her chest.

"Excuse me, are you the patient's family inside? Victims of the crash on Jalan Sembilan?" The doctor's voice made Alva look up. He asked frantically to the man. "Doctor! How's the wife, me? He's fine, right? Nothing's gonna happen to her, is it?!"

"We are already doing first aid to patients. The bleeding in his head has been stopped. Next we will do a thorough check to ensure the condition of the victim is good. If we find anything dangerous, we need the patient's family's permission to perform emergency surgery, only if necessary." The doctor explained.

Alva said without hesitation. "Anything! Do whatever it takes to save my wife. "

...***...

20 minutes later, Lydia came to the hospital along with Juan and Delita— Juan's mother who is also the younger sister of Lydia. The three of them came in a slight rush, and when Lidia saw Alva, her face displayed anxiety. "God!"

"Alva, how's Alana doing? Is she okay?" The question made Alva stand up.

With a heavy voice, Alva answered a question from Lydia. "The doctor has handled it, ma. Mama doesn't have to worry."

Despite saying so, in his heart Alva was not sure if this woman in front of him was really crying for his girl—Arana, who was lying inside, and was in the examination of the Doctor. After all, a mother who could abandon her daughter just like that without caring about her even when she knew that she should be her responsibility, did she care about Arana's current state?

If it wasn't for now being her and the person she knew, Alva wasn't sure Lydia would be crying like she is now.

His acting was so convincing for Alva.

Despite her heavy dislike, Alva could only silently swallow her hatred and chose to sit back in silence and worry. Choosing to ignore the drama moment where Lydia was being pacified by Delita. His manic stared at the cold floor, almost as cold as his gaze. Her chest rumbled considering Arana's pale face.

His hands were intertwined and clenched in front of his lips which only displayed a dense line.

Alva will find and find bed*bah who has harmed Arana and reply to her. Dare to run away after making Arana hurt like that.

"I can't forgive." He murmured with a cold aura.

"Try to be calmer, brother. My brother has already investigated this matter."

Alva's bead shifted, finding Juan had been sitting next to her. The young man sat with his legs crossed, although he looked calm, in fact he was also worried and anxious about Arana's state. She was with her mother when she went to see Lidia when her aunt got a phone call saying that a patient named Alana was hospitalized in an accident.

Juan's brother is a cop. Hearing Juan say such a thing, Alva nodded her head. "Yes." Yeah."

Although he is not really sure whether between his confidants and the police, the police will first find the culprit.

Although Juan said so, Alva would still have someone investigate the matter. Given that Alana is the cause of the problem, Alva wants to ascertain whether or not this problem is related to Alana. If the relationship is right, Alva vows to destroy the girl without the slightest bit of mercy. And if it wasn't, heh, Alva would probably consider destroying her life alone without making it look like living in hell.

If others could read Alva's mind, they might tremble in fear because of his crazy, psychopathic image.

Cklek!

The open door diverted their attention. Massaging the Doctor out of Arana's room, Alva immediately rose to her feet. "How's he doing, Doc?!"

"Yes, Doc! How's my daughter doing? Is she okay? He wasn't seriously injured, was he?!" Smash Lydia with a question that baffles.

The doctor lowered his mask and smiled. "Please calm down, sir, Mom. After checking, your Wife does not suffer any injuries that could threaten her life. The father's wife suffered only a few minor injuries to her upper body. But his leg's bones are fractured."

"Will his legs heal, Doc?" Lydia interrupted the doctor's explanation.

The doctor nodded. "It can, but the healing period can take weeks, as well as the recovery period, until the bones return to normal."

"It is better that the patient's diet is maintained with foods that contain lots of calcium."

"One more thing, patients still have to undergo regular checks after being allowed out. So, don't forget to bring the patient back to the hospital for a checkup." This made Alva nod in understanding.

"Thank you, Doc. Can you get in?"

The doctor replied, "The patient should be transferred first to the treatment room. After that, the family can wait for the patient. However, try not to have too many people, or the patient's rest can be disrupted."

Alva did not say anything, only nodded her head. Even when Lidia grabbed his hand, "Alva, nothing happened to Alana. He's not why-why. Although—Even though his leg was injured, Alana is fine. He can heal."

Is this woman in front of him worried that he will divorce his daughter if Arana has serious injuries on her body? Does he really worry about Arana, not the fate of his company if he divorces Arana?

Really do!!

He swore that he would make that person pay the same price that Arana had experienced.

Teeth are replaced, eyes are replaced, and bones are replaced. It might sound bad, however, it was a principle he had been convinced of all along.

If you do not want to be treated equally, then never disturb the life of Alva and what belongs to him.
