LOVE IN MY LIFE

THE TASTE IS NOT OVER

The night was over, now the morning came to greet with warmth. Amine saw her daughter still asleep.

"He used to wake up early, but today it looks like he fell asleep really fast" Amine said. Keenan tells Amine that last night he and Ishla watched the movie until late at dawn.

"You know, your daughter and I both loved the same movie" Keenan said.

"really? That sounds interesting." While in the hospital, Celine comes with fruits for Ishla. He told Amine that this morning he had an important meeting with a client. Amine asks Celine to cancel it, she cannot leave Ishla alone in the hospital.

"Go! I'll take care of Ishla until you get back" Keenan said.

"No, Keenan. I've been bothering you a lot since yesterday."

"Not at all" Amine tells Keenan that today the doctor has allowed Ishla to go home. He can't leave Ishla alone at home. He would have been very scared because of yesterday. Amine is also very scared if Ethan comes back and tries to hurt her daughter again. The clock has shown at eight in the morning, but Ishla is still asleep. Meanwhile, Amine's meeting will begin in thirty minutes.

"Sorry, madam. I just got word that Mr. Marvell has arrived at the company" Celine said.

"How is this?" amine murmur.

"Go! I'll take good care of your daughter, if you're afraid Ishla is home alone, I'll take her to my house. After work, you can pick up Ishla at my house. I'll send you his home address." Not thinking for long, Amine finally leaves and entrusts Ishla to Keenan.

That morning, at breakfast Adlar asked his mother about Ethan. "Where is Ethan now, Mommy?" Aziza looks ordinary. "Somewhere, you don't need to know where she is." Adlar doesn't believe his mother helped Ethan in his hideout. "What you're doing is wrong, Mother. You shouldn't have hidden Ethan from the police." Adlar left the dining table. Meanwhile, Ishla just woke up from her sleep. He saw only Keenan sitting on the sofa enjoying a cup of coffee.

"Good morning, uncle."

"Good morning, baby." Ishla is looking for her mother's whereabouts. "Where's mom, uncle?" Keenan tells Ishla if Amine goes to the office for an important meeting. She also tells Ishla that the doctor has allowed her to go home. Before I got home, the doctors and nurses came. He checks for burns on Ishla's hands, while also replacing the old bandage with a new one. A moment later, Ishla went packing. Keenan tells Ishla that he will take her home, but not to her house but to Keenan's.

"That's not necessary, uncle. I can call the driver to pick me up. After all, you have to work, right?"

"No son, I promised your mother I'd take care of you." Keenan tells Ishla that Amine is worried about her. She fears that if Ishla stays alone at home, Ethan will come and try to hurt her again. Inevitably, Ishla agrees to return to Keenan's house.

While driving, Adlar seemed out of focus. He keeps thinking about Ethan. "Where did you hide her?" muttered. Adlar was immediately turned to his daughter. Last night, he was there when his mother talked to Ethan. Adlar took the phone out of his pocket, but unfortunately it fell off. Adlar tried to take the phone. His hands fumbled looking for a cell phone. When he was found, he did not know if there was a car in front of him.

Bug off!!!

Adlar hit the back of the car in front of him. The owner of the car came out to see the car. "Geez, the car's chafing." The owner of the car was none other than Keenan. She stops to wait for Ishla who is shopping at the supermarket because the refrigerator in her house has not been filled. Adlar went down and apologized to Keenan.

"I'm sorry, I'll compensate for all the losses. You don't have to worry." Adlar spent a considerable amount of money. He gave it to Keenan,

"Take all this money in exchange!" Keenan refused it. He didn't need all that money, he could take the car straight to his workshop. On her way out of the supermarket, Ishla sees Keenan talking to someone.

"Uncle, what's wrong? What's with your car?" asked Ishla while carrying her shopping bag. Upon hearing Ishla's voice, Adlar's steps stopped. She turns her body, and so does Ishla. He looked towards Adlar.

"Isla?" Adlar's smile widened when he saw his daughter. It's been a while since Ethan, they haven't seen each other again.

"How are you, baby?" adlar came closer to embrace her.

"Don't come any closer!" Ishla's hand refuses to be embraced by Adlar.

"You know him, honey?" ask Keenan who is a little confused. Ishla did not answer the question directly, she asked Keenan to leave the place immediately.

"Wait, Ishla! Give me a second chance to fix everything." Adlar asked full of plea. Ishla feels very difficult to be able to improve all the relationships that exist with her father, she is already very hurt by what Adlar has done to her.

"Let's go, uncle!" Keenan helps Ishla put all her groceries in the car. They also left in front of Adlar. In the car, Ishla looks very sad. He could no longer hold back his cries. Keenan was a little surprised when he saw Ishla who suddenly cried. "Why are you crying, son?" Ishla kept quiet without answering Keenan's questions. She wiped her tears, and tried to be strong. "I'm fine, uncle."

"Glan's? You here?" ask Myra.

"Can we talk for a second?"

Myra invited Glan to speak in her room.

"What's wrong?" Glan looked very confused. He shows her the ring he accidentally bought to propose to Ishla.

"When did you buy this ring, Glan? You know, this is the ring Ishla liked when she tried it at the store that time."

"I bought it right away when you and Ishla left the store." Glan told Myra that he was very confused by her decision. In the near future, Glan is eager to propose to Ishla. But, the situation is always not supportive. There's just something bad going on with Ishla, and Ethan is now the biggest threat to Ishla. If the police don't find her soon, Ishla's life will always be threatened.

"What if you just tell her your good intentions go straight to Miss Amine?"

"Why should it be like that?" Myra reassured Glan that her intentions would be accepted by Amine. Apparently, he really liked the close relationship between Glan and his daughter.

"Just tell that to Madame Amine! Let him arrange everything!" myra.

"Is that how?" glan asked who looked hesitant. Myra believes Glan, if the proposal will be accepted Ishla. So, Glan is a very appropriate man for his best friend. He is always there when Ishla is really in a bad state.

"Come, spirit! I will fully support your relationship with Ishla" Myra said with a big smile.

"Thank you,"

About thirty minutes into the journey, Ishla finally arrived at Keenan's house. When he entered, there was a servant who welcomed him.

"Welcome, sir." said the waiter.

"Thank you, bi. Oh yes, please bring all these groceries to the kitchen!"

"Good, sir." Keenan takes Ishla around his house. The house was very spacious, there was a swimming pool on the side, also a beautiful flower garden behind the house. Keenan takes Ishla upstairs, where Ishla can see a large expanse of plantation.

"Who's estate is that, uncle?"

"Mine, son. I grew some vegetables and some fruits there. At harvest time, I'll take you to taste the fruit directly picked from the tree."

"I can't wait for that time, uncle." Keenan showed me all the rooms in his house.

"This is your room, son." Ishla sees a room for him that is so spacious. In that room he could see the plantation as well as its workers. "The room is very comfortable, uncle. Thank you." Thank you." Ishla's room is upstairs, while Keenan's own room is downstairs. If Ishla needs something, she can press the button that is near her bed. The button will connect itself to Keenan or the waiter at his house. That afternoon, Ishla spent her time in the room. Meanwhile, Keenan went to his study.

"This is the tea you asked for, sir." said the waiter, putting the tea on his desk.

"Thank you, bi."

"Together, sir. Then excuse me first."

While enjoying a cup of tea, Keenan's mind goes back to the time when he was in college. Amine and Keenan are close friends, they are one generation but different majors. Keenan often spent time alone with Amine while in college. They are friends who cannot be separated from each other. Because of the togetherness that exists between them, Keenan begins to fall in love with Amine. She hopes that Amine is her first love as well as her last.

After graduation, Amine said goodbye to New Zealand. His parents were transferred there at the time. Keenan who was a nobody could not hinder Amine's departure. But, when Keenan succeeds, he will go to meet Amine to New Zealand to reveal all his heart. Two years later, Keenan became a successful businessman. He flew to New Zealand to keep his promise. Arriving there, he had to swallow the harsh reality that Amine had been with the others. Keenan's heart was broken. Keenan has since decided to move to London without telling anyone.
