Chapter 91: The Love that Stays on

That day, Sulis woke up with her heart filled with anxiety. Four days later, Ahmad's hands continued to tremble without stopping. Although Ahmad tried to convince Sulis that he was okay, Sulis remained worried.

"Write, don't worry. It's just a side effect of the drugs I'm taking" Ahmad said as Sulis gently rubbed his trembling hand.

"What medicine are you drinking, Ahmad?"

"Medicine to overcome my heart problem. The doctor did give me some medicine, but it's the medicine I just took."

Sulis. Since when did Ahmad have heart problems? Why didn't he tell Sulis? Sulis felt very hurt and disappointed when this was revealed after they had been in a relationship for many years.

"Sulis, you do realize that I love you?" ahmad smiled.

Sulis tried to hold back her tears that were almost sullen. "Why did you suddenly say that, sirde?"

"And you're getting married. I want you to know that I love you so much, Sulis. Whatever happens to me, I'll still love you."

Sulis turned her eyes to the window. He could not look at Ahmad who was smiling, without thinking about his own health.

"Sulis, it's okay. We can definitely pass it together" Ahmad explained.

Sulis took Ahmad's hand which instantly made him speechless.

"Pakde, I'm sorry. I'm not as brave as you are in facing this reality. I'm just afraid of losing you."

"Don't worry, Sulis. We will solve it together" concluded Ahmad.

Sulis jostled and smiled to see Ahmad who was still lying beside him. He knew that their love would remain together, despite facing severe obstacles.

A few months passed, Sulis and Ahmad continued to show the strength of their love that persisted in the midst of Ahmad's health problems. Sulis always accompanied Ahmad, even when Ahmad had to undergo heart surgery.

Ahmad feels very lucky to have Sulis always there for him. "Sulis, you are the light that always illuminates my life" Ahmad said, hugging Sulis tightly.

"There's nothing to say, sir. I love you, that's all that matters" Sulis replied as he returned Ahmad's embrace.

After recovering from surgery, Ahmad planned a romantic getaway with Sulis. They decide to go to Bali, the place they always dreamed of visiting together.

While walking in Kuta Beach, they sat in one of the cafes and Ahmad took out an item from his pocket.

"This is for you, Sulis," said Ahmad, giving a pouch containing a ring to Sulis' hand.

Sulis was shocked and astonished, "What is this Pakde? What's that supposed?"

"This is the ring I bought for you, baby. I want you to know that I want to build a future together with you, Sulis. Even though my body is weak, I want you to know that my love for you has never diminished. In fact, the more the day goes on."

Sulis wept and clasped Ahmad's hand tightly. "Thank you, Pakde. I'm so happy and moved" he said, wearing the ring.

They continue to take a walk to enjoy the beautiful view of Bali. Sulis feels very lucky to have Ahmad as his life partner. Despite his health problems, Ahmad is still able to keep his heart full of love. Over time, their love grows deeper and more infinite. For Sulis, Ahmad is everything. He was grateful to have found a true love that was handsome in Ahmad's heart.

Until one day, Ahmad again felt short of breath and fell unconscious. Sulis took him to the hospital. After the examination, the doctor informed him that Ahmad's heart condition was getting worse and he needed a heart transplant immediately.

A few days later, Ahmad underwent a successful heart transplant. Sulis feels very grateful and happy because Ahmad is now getting healthier and can live a better life.

"Thank you, Lord, for the grace you have given me. I will never forget all the love you have given me, Sulis," Ahmad said, looking at Sulis with affection.

"It's good to see you're healthy, sirde. I hope we can continue together and pursue all our dreams together" Sulis said with a sweet smile.

Ahmad clasped Sulis hand tightly and said, "We will definitely reach him, my friend. We will spend the rest of our lives together, with compassion, respect, and mutual support for each other."

Sulis felt so happy and grateful because he had found true love so beautiful and sincere from Ahmad. They both plan their future with hope and stick to the affection that always strengthens their hearts and spirits.

Sulis and Ahmad began their new lives with great zeal. They pursue all their dreams together and continue to support each other, both in a happy atmosphere and when facing challenges.

"Even though we have experienced many difficult things in our lives, I have never stopped loving you, Sulis. You are the true love of my life" Ahmad said affectionately.

Sulis felt so touched his heart and made himself more convinced that he had a special place in Ahmad's heart. "I love you too, sirde. Always and unconditionally" he said with a gentle smile.

Their lives are even more beautiful with the presence of their granddaughter, Adit. They feel so grateful and happy because Adit always brings a smile on their face.

"Our life seems perfect with the presence of Adit. I am grateful to have gone through all the difficult things in life with you, Sulis," Ahmad said, hugging Sulis tightly.

Sulis felt so happy and moved. He felt that his life had been decorated with a true love so beautiful and sincere from Ahmad.

"Thank you, Pakdhe. I am also thankful that God has given you to me. I don't know what would have happened without you by my side" Sulis said as he looked into his eyes affectionately.

Ahmad felt so lucky to have found true love in Sulis. He is grateful to have Sulis as a friend, friend, and life partner who always provides support and affection. "I love you, Sulis. And I will always love you, forever" Ahmad said with confidence.

They both felt sincere happiness, looking at each other affectionately. They feel honored and appreciated for trusting and supporting each other, even in the most difficult moments.
