THE DECISIVE DECISION

Chapter 30: Decisions that Determine

Sulis sat on the porch of his house, with a face full of worry. He knows that the decisions he has made in recent days will determine his future. Ahmad, his best friend since childhood, came to him.

Ahmad: "Sulis, you look very worried. What's up?"

Sulis: "Ahmad, do you remember when we talked about our dreams as children? About how I want to be a famous writer?"

Ahmad: "Of course I remember, Sulis. We've always aspired to be together, haven't we?"

Sulis: "But, Ahmad, I also realize that the world is hard. Being a famous writer is not easy. I wondered if this dream could be achieved."

Ahmad: "Sulis, you must remember that every dream always faces obstacles. However, with hard work and strong determination, we can definitely achieve it. Don't just give up."

Sulis: "I know, Ahmad. But sometimes, I feel afraid of failure. I was afraid of what others would say if I decided to pursue my dream as a writer."

Ahmad: "Sulis, you must not let fear and worry rule you. It is better to try and fail than to regret for never trying at all. Remember, others will not live your life. Only you can decide your own fate."

Sulis pondered for a moment, realizing his courage to pursue his dream was the key to obtaining the life he dreamed of.

Sulis: "Thank you, Ahmad. I had to step up and realize that this journey will not be easy. I'll try my hardest and won't give up."

Ahmad: "That's my friend! I know you can do it. I've always supported you, Sulis, and believe me, your dream will definitely come true."

With renewed vigor, Sulis decided to take the first step in pursuing his dream of becoming a famous writer. He knows that the journey to success is not easy, but Sulis is ready to face it with determination.

Ahmad will remain a best friend to Sulis, giving him his full support and helping through all the challenges to come. Sulis felt lucky to have a friend like Ahmad, who always believed in him and motivated to achieve their dreams together.

They both promise to keep supporting each other and encouraging each other at every step of their journey. Sulis is getting ready to write her own life journey, in the hope that someday, the Hope Sheets she writes will be an inspiration to many.

Sulis sat in the living room restlessly. He is still trying to understand the mysterious signals implied in the hope sheet. The book has taken him on an incredible adventure and this time Sulis feels he is in a labyrinth with no direction.

Shortly afterwards, Ahmad entered the living room. His face looked tired, but when he saw Sulis sitting tensely, he became curious. "What's up, Sulis? You seem worried," she asked as she sat beside him.

Sulis sighed and looked at Ahmad in confusion. "Ahmad, I still can't understand what happened. This wish sheet gave me a hint, but everything felt so faint. I feel like I'm stuck in a riddle that's hard to solve."

Ahmad placed his hand on Sulis' shoulder gently. "Relax, Sulis. We're gonna figure out a way to solve this puzzle. What's on your mind?"

"The images on this wish sheet relate to a specific time and place. I feel like there is something hidden behind these sheets, but I don't know where to start" Sulis explained as he pointed out the wish sheet he had examined earlier.

Sulis looked at Ahmad with hope. "How is it, Ahmad? I feel increasingly entangled in this puzzle."

Ahmad smiled and took out a pen and blank paper. "This is the first step we can take. We will take note of everything we know and look for patterns that may be associated with this story. That way, we can trace the trail that leads us to the real answer."

Sulis nodded and began to cooperate with Ahmad. They discussed one by one the images on the wish sheet, trying to relate them to a time and place they knew. Sulis felt more excited because Ahmad was beside him who provided support and discussed together.

Hour after hour passed, Sulis and Ahmad did not realize that time had gone by so quickly. They continued to discuss and record every idea that came up. Meanwhile, small clues begin to erode Sulis' confusion and uncover the secret pieces hidden within the hope sheet.

In the silence of the two, Sulis finally found an eye-catching pattern. "Ahmad, look! There's a connection between this picture and a place I'm familiar with. I'm sure the answer is there!"

Ahmad glared for a moment and then smiled brightly. "Sulis, you are amazing! We are almost reaching our goal. Come on, we're getting ready to go to that place. I'm sure the real lead is there!"

Sulis smiled with hope. Though he has not yet found a definitive answer, he feels closer to the truth. The two of them set out in high spirits, going down the dark alleys to uncover the mystery hidden within the hope sheet.

Sulis and Ahmad were sitting in a small garden near their home. It has been a few days since they returned from their life-changing journey.

"Sulis, I still can't believe how small this world is. After taking our trip, I felt like this world was too big to explore. So many amazing things that we meet," said Ahmad while looking at the beautiful blue sky.

Sulis nodded in agreement, "That's fine, Ahmad. Our journey opens my eyes to how vast the world is. If we continue to feel comfortable in our comfort zone, we will never know what is out there. We should always seek adventure and take risks. Only then can we achieve our dreams."

Ahmad smiled, "In addition, our journey also taught me to be more patient and appreciate every moment we have. There may be difficult and tiring moments, but when we go beyond them, there is tremendous satisfaction. We learn to live to the fullest and appreciate every second we have."

Sulis laughed, "Yes, Ahmad. This journey also teaches us not to get too serious with life. Sometimes, we need to release the pressure and just enjoy the moment. Like when we danced in the rain in Bali, it was a moment I will never forget.

Ahmad looked at Sulis lovingly, "Sulis, I am grateful to be able to share this experience with you. We have grown and learned together during this journey. And now, as we return home, I'm sure we'll continue to apply these values in our daily lives."

Sulis embraced Ahmad tightly, "I am also grateful to have you beside me, Ahmad. We do have many dreams and hopes, but with cooperation and courage, I believe we can achieve them. This book is the first step, but we have plenty of time to write a new chapter in our lives."

Ahmad looked at Sulis eyes with admiration, "You always have the ability to inspire, Sulis. I'm sure the world will be lucky to have someone like you."

Sulis blushed in embarrassment, "Thank you, Ahmad. We are both an inseparable team, and nothing can stop us from achieving our dreams. Let us live life with passion, keep dreaming, and live each of our hopes sincerely."

Ahmad raised his glass with vigor, "For our new sheet of hope, Sulis. May we always be able to keep this spirit and achieve what we dream together."

Sulis patted their hands together, "Yes, Ahmad. For our new hope sheet!"
