Chapter 21: The Longed Togetherness

Sulis sat on a park bench, staring deep into the clear sky. He felt empty after the departure of Ahmad, his best friend, who had to go out of town for his family business. Sulis felt lonely without the presence of Ahmad around him.

Ahmad: "My journey was quite exhausting, but everything is fine. I went to take care of family matters and also attended some important events. But, I missed you and our friends while I was gone."

Lopez: "I miss you and my friends too. Without you, it feels like something is missing in my life. How about we gather all our friends and have a little meeting in a normal place?"

Ahmad: "That's a good idea! I totally agree. Come on, let's take them right now!"

Sulis and Ahmad walked together to the usual place where they met their friends. As soon as they got there, they saw their friends gathering warmly. There were Rudi, Maya, and Dian who were already waiting with smiles on their faces.

Rudy: "Write! Ahmadis! We missed you both! How was your trip, Ahmad?"

Ahmad: "The journey is quite tiring, but I am happy to be back and meet you all. Sulis and I are planning a small meeting to treat our longing for you."

Maya: "That's an amazing idea! We prepared some snacks. Come on, sit down and share the story."

Dian: "We have a lot to tell and a lot of surprises for you, Ahmad. But most importantly, we want to celebrate our long-awaited togetherness."
