Chapter 18: Finding a Lost Love

Sulis had been feeling restless in the past few days. He felt that something was missing in his life, but he did not know what he was really looking for. He went to the park he used to visit to try to calm his mind.

In the garden, he saw Ahmad sitting alone on a bench, with a blank look in his eyes. Sulis decided to approach him.

Sulis: (note Ahmad) Something is wrong, Ahmad? You look so moody.

Ahmad: (sighs) Yes, Sulis. I feel like something is missing in my life. I'm looking for something, but I don't know exactly what.

Sulis: Means we have the same feelings. I also feel like something is missing in my life.

Ahmad: (surprised) Seriously? Then, what are we looking for?

Sulis: I don't know, Ahmad. Maybe a lost love. Love that makes our lives meaningful.

Ahmad: (noddering) I feel so too. I'm looking for someone who can make me feel whole.

Sulis: (looking far away) Maybe we should look for answers within ourselves. Sometimes, the love we seek does not have to come from someone else, but from the relationship we build with ourselves.

Ahmad: (think Sulis) Maybe it's true what you say. I always hoped there was someone who could fill the emptiness of my heart, but maybe I should learn to love myself first.

Sulis: (smiling) I am learning the same thing, Ahmad. Perhaps this is the real search, the search for love within ourselves. What if we try to do it together?

Ahmad: (smiling) That's a good idea, Sulis. We can support each other and remind each other to love and accept ourselves.

Sulis and Ahmad sat side by side on a park bench, committed to learning to love themselves. Although they are still searching for lost love, they realize that true love may be within themselves. Together, they embark on a hopeful journey towards the real search for love.

Sulis sat upright on a park bench, holding a letter from Ahmad. He still has a hard time believing what happened. Ahmad: (coming to Sulis) Sulis, sorry if I can't be next to you now. But I will always be in your heart, and we will stay together even in physical distance.

Sulis: (sadly looking at Ahmad) I know it is not your fault, Ahmad. But I'm afraid of all this. What if this distance keeps us apart?

Ahmad: (grabbing the hand of Sulis) Sulis, anxious is natural. But we must believe in our love. Distance only makes our relationship stronger. I have a plan, we will communicate every day and can even arrange a time to meet.

Ahmad: Of course, Sulis. I'm not just gonna let you go. We just need to be patient and remain confident that we will be together again. Together, we will build a beautiful future.

Sulis: (touched) Thank you, Ahmad. I will try my best to keep this relationship going.

A few months later, Sulis and Ahmad were still in a long-distance relationship faithfully. Though difficult, they are both determined to support each other and build trust in each other. They keep sending letters, texting, and occasionally making video calls to feel close to each other.

After a year apart, finally arrived the long-awaited moment. Sulis and Ahmad met at a cafe in the city where they had met for the first time. Both of them were full of emotions as they looked at each other again after so long.

Sulis: (smiling happily) Ahmad! We finally meet again!

Ahmad: (holding Sulis' hand tightly) Sulis, you are far more beautiful than I imagined. I miss you every moment.

Sulis: (shy) I miss you too, Ahmad. It all felt like a dream come true.

Ahmad: (clap Sulis' shoulder) Come on, don't let the distance separate us again. We will face all obstacles together.

The love story of Sulis and Ahmad continues through all obstacles and obstacles. When two hearts that love each other come together, no distance is too far to reach. Ahmad was overwhelmed by this speech. He held Sulis' hand warmly. "You're no less important, Sulis. You have given creative ideas that make this work more meaningful. Without you, this project might just be a plain sheet of hope."

Sulis smiled blushingly, moved by Ahmad's words. "Thank you, Ahmad. I feel lucky to have a friend like you. We can complement each other and give each other encouragement."

They smiled at each other and felt an infinite pride in their work. All this time they have struggled to realize this project, and now it is time for them to feel so much satisfaction.

In their hearts they promise to continue to maintain cooperation and support each other in achieving their dreams and hopes. Together, they feel that nothing is impossible if they fight together.
