Chapter 61: The Decision

On a sunny afternoon, Sulis and Ahmad were sitting under shady trees in the city park. Ahmad held onto a piece of white paper and looked at Sulis seriously.

Ahmad: "Sulis, I know this is hard for you. But I have to be honest. I want you to know that I've decided to leave the law office where I work."

Sulis was silent, not expecting that Ahmad would make a decision like this.

Sulis: "Why did you do that, Ahmad? What's going on?"

Ahmad: "I feel it's time to find my own way of life. I want to open my own law practice and follow my passion. I know it's gonna be hard, but I'm ready to deal with it."

Sulis nodded and smiled, feeling proud of Ahmad's courage to take this big step.

Sulis: "I'm very happy to hear that, Ahmad. I always support your choice. And, if there's anything you can contribute to help you, please convey."

Ahmad: "Thank you, Sulis. I really appreciate it. Later, after my practice is established, I confirm to you."

Sulis and Ahmad looked up at the sky, which became a beautiful ornament to their conversation.

Sulis: "It's time to part ways. I believe that your decision will open up many new opportunities and opportunities. Again, always support you Ahmad."

Ahmad: "Thank you Sulis, you have always been my best friend. See you later!"

Ahmad said goodbye and left Sulis smiling. He felt happy because Ahmad had found the way of life he had been looking for. He is sure, in the future Ahmad's happiness will increase and Sulis' husband will always pray for and fight for Ahmad's happiness.

Sulis continued to look at the shady tree in front of him while thinking about the big decision that Ahmad took. He was happy to see Ahmad getting more confident and excited in following his passion.

However, on the other hand, Sulis felt a little indecisive as she was about to lose a close friend as well as a great co-worker at the law office. Sulis feels grateful because they are friends who support and motivate each other in work.

Sulis decided to consult with some of his co-workers and also took some time to reflect on what he wanted in the future. He felt this was a good time to reflect and maybe make a big decision like Ahmad did.

After that, Sulis continued his routine and hoped to take the right steps for his future. He knows that big decisions have risks and they always need sacrifices, but as a person who believes in himself, he believes everything will be fine.

Sulis continued his work at the law office with a stronger mentality. He took inspiration from Ahmad's courage to follow his dreams and do things that he considered a risk.

In the next few weeks, Sulis had several discussions with his co-workers and also made a serious self-evaluation. He realized that even though he enjoyed working in a law office, he felt that something was missing and he had not felt completely fulfilled.
