Chapter 52: The Miracle of Hope

Sulis sat quietly on the edge of her bed in the hospital, her eyes glued to the ceiling of the room. After several weeks of facing a long healing process, a sense of despair began to slip into his heart. He felt tired and frustrated with everything that happened in his life.

Ahmad, a close friend of Sulis, arrived in his room with a bouquet of fresh flowers. He looked at Suraya's gloomy face and immediately pulled the chair beside him. "Hi Sulis, how are you?"

Sulis was shocked to hear Ahmad's voice. He smiled weakly and said, "Hi Ahmad, I'm a little tired today. It's hard to keep hoping for a cure."

Ahmad grabbed Sulis' hand gently. "Write, I can't imagine how heavy the situation you're in is. But try to focus on the glimmer of hope that still exists. Remember that behind dark clouds, there is always sunlight shining brightly."

Sulis looked at Ahmad questioningly. "What do you mean, Ahmad?"

Ahmad smiled and replied, "Sulis, I have done some research and found an alternative rehabilitation program that might help you. The program involves new therapies that are being developed and have helped many people in similar cases."

Sulis looked at Ahmad with hope re-igniting in his eyes. "Are you serious, Ahmad? How can I get it?"

Ahmad smiled and let go of Sulis' hand. "I've spoken to the medical team at this hospital, and they've agreed to try the program. Sulis, I truly believe that this is your chance to heal completely."

Sulis felt her heart flutter. Her tears began to flow. "Thank you, Ahmad. I can't believe how lucky I am to have a friend as good as you."

Ahmad smiled and wiped Sulis' tears gently. "You are my friend, Sulis. I will always be by your side for every step of this journey. Be prepared to face a wonderful miracle, for it may have been waiting for you."

Sulis took a deep breath and smiled in excitement. He felt like something new had appeared in his dark sky, bringing new hope and a new light.
